ok so last thursday was my last day on active duty. i had my appointment to get my transitional id card on monday right? how about friday afternoon i get a call from my former section and platoon sgt saying i need to come in to sign my final NCOER for the 4th time. i explain to them that i had been out for about 16 hours at the time of the call, my CAC card is now expired and would not work to digitally sign anything anyhow and i need to go and get my new card. i also explain that i am not sure if it will be a CAC card or the one similar to what dependents get(wich it was). finally i tell them that i am in my new house 60 minutes away from base and will not be coming in that day to sign. saturday i talk to my commander, whose daughter is on the same little league soccer team as mine and point out might not get a CAC. he says hey it is what it is. finally sunday night i get a call from my section chief saying i need to come in before the appt on monday and use the CAC card to sign before i turn it in. nevermind the fact that i was invalid since 0001 friday morning! god how i love the leadership in some places! btw i have offered since im stayin in the area to come in and sign it with ink pen when it s convient for me!

FC or Dave would be the ones to answer for certain but the C/D are straight 3rd party mods and i believe the skins are mapped different than the stock F-15A. if so all you will get is a very white Eagle.

speaking of i haven't seen KB around lately. hopefully he's doin ok.

i used it last year in afghanistan when i was still tryin to figure out wha tan ini was. long story short it rarely saves your results and as for quicker my grandfather used to say quicker to do it right the first time than half a$$ it 3 or 4 times. in Gen 2 its quicker to use the ini and generally better results.

slarti, are you forgetting the pure joy of an A-4, F-4, 111 or 16 screaming down the runway at 350 feet and 500+ kts sprinkling snakeyes or some other form of retarded iron booms on the concrete? just start releasing before your nose is over the end of the runway and break towards the barracks ground fire always seems less in that direction.........

historically runways are hard to destroy. even when you score a hit on it push the dirt back in put matting on top and your back in business. frustration was the first time i tried hitting a runway with a nuke. 119 kills but mission failed! as for the ini edit your lookin for that would be for the terrain gurus to tell ya

it is funny how different it is from you leaving to the family leaving you. they went to her dads timeshare 4 hours away and i couldn't get leave that week so i had to wait until the weekend to join them. had all the time in the world to work on models but got bored with it quick. then missed em so bad got on a boat to go dolphin watching. DAT birds have trouble in Gen2?!?!?!?!? noooooooooooooooo sadly they do have alot of birds that arent covered other places but there is alot of trail and error that goes into seeing if it will work or not.
