  1. Try these, I think they work pretty good: https://www.dropbox.com/s/om1111sdja67zzn/JSOW.7z The only disclaimer is that I haven't dropped them in months so mileage will vary.
  2. Back then when I was still flying SF2 (I'm just a lurker now) I'd still miss with the 9X a few times so it's not a "death ray" so to speak. Even an AIM-120D shot misses a Flogger or a Fishbed. So I can;t say it's so much overmodeled but also pilot skill and the fact that it's easier makes it seem so to me anyway.
  3. And also don't forget to contact the author about licensing, etc. The Super Hornet models were derived from one model, and I had to clarify that it would be under a non-editable format in order to keep it legal.
  4. I think not just the tanker jets but tanker capable (KA-6, Echo/Fox Super Hornets), etc. could also incorporate the code as well.
  5. Uhh sorry, thought my PM wasn't full...
  6. http://combatace.com/topic/62302-what-is-the-mod-folder/ This should help with your questions...
  7. It's also pretty obvious you need to align the camo so it flows across the fuselage correctly. The trick I use in Photoshop are alignment lines and take the time to properly align the camouflage.
  8. What it boils down to is if the 3D model can be formatted into a format that can't be re-engineered. If TheWarrior contacts the maker and explains the situation and the modeller says its cool then there shouldn't be any issue with using a TurboSquid model. Matter of fact the base model for the Super Hornet is from that site.
  9. You'll have to put the modded files in the mod folder, create a Terrains folder, then create a specific folder for each map by name. The modded file will replace the original file so it'll work. http://combatace.com/topic/62302-what-is-the-mod-folder/
  10. Probably because you haven't downloaded 331Killerbee's weapons pack and working off of the default weapons.

  12. The only thing I can think of is the map settings for years in which you'd have to extract the inis (IsraelME.ini, etc.) of each map and edit this line, which could also be the culprit: [AllowedDates] StartDate=1947 EndDate=2050
  13. Open the options.ini and scroll down to the [singleMission] portion and edit the dates: StartYear=1900 EndYear=2050 this is what I use but it'll allow you to use the aircraft within the actual date ranges of the particular aircraft.
  14. It was the desert scheme and yes, it was the TW Prowler. Unfortunately I don't think I'll finish it as the mapping on it is horrendous and not suited for camo schemes, especially that one above.
  15. No problem
  16. Here you go, all of the versions. Aircraft.7z
  17. To be serious, "2 weeks" There's no lead time AFAIK about when they'll be back up.
  18. I'm not worried honestly about that, I'm just worried about making the landing :)
  19. I use the A-6 pits fine in SF2 with no work at all.
  20. Doubt it, on FB he announced that the "Strike Fighters" line was being dismantled in favor for DCS/FSX. The amount of patches and other issues will more than likely be what it is, an announcement that will never come to light.
  21. And with the Tomcat... if you watch your speed you can do a same approach as in the video you posted above. Hairy though but it can be done. I've actually tried it in FSX with the Super Hornet and get decent but sometimes terrible approaches. A prop shouldn't have any issues though but whatever game or sim its' still challenging.
