  1. T-6C Low-viz grey RNZAF No. 14 Squadron skin
  2. NOTE: There are plenty of load outs in the loadout.ini file so use the single mission editor to change from the default 'pilot training' 2x fuel tanks.
  3. View File Raytheon T-6C Texan II for SF2 Raytheon T-6C Texan II for SF2 This is the T-6C Texan II as used by No 14 Squadron RNZAF for the SF2 series of games. The T-6C Texan II is an upgraded version of the T-6B with wing hard points, intelligence/ surveillance/ reconnaissance capabilities, a digital glass cockpit that includes a Head-Up Display, six multi-function displays, Hands On Throttle And Stick. I created this version of the T-6 by using Dels amazing AT-6B and removing the parts that differentiate the AT-6B from the T-6C. This works perfectly as the T-6C is the upgraded version of the T-6B, which is what the AT-6B is the armed version of. Instillation: Extract the files and place into your mods folder. Bonus Skins: Included in the 'Bonus' folder are two what-if Grey RNZAF skins for the T-6C and Dels AT-6B. Credits: - Dels - FastCargo - Dave Enjoy! 7. Royal New Zealand Airforce No. 14 Squadron MB-339CB Macchi (Aermacchi) 2001 - WIP
  8. Royal New Zealand Airforce No.14 Squadron T-6C Texan II. Made the C model Texan by combining the engine data and glass cockpit from the AT-6B with the T-6A.
  9. http://combatace.com/files/file/14209-kittyhawk-iii-soviet/ its SF1 so you can update the whole aircraft for SF2 or just use the skin but you will still have to sort the decals etc. This is the skin I used but I changed it to fit the P-40N/S model.
  10. View File P-40S SuperHawk SF2 ('What If') P-40S SuperHawk This is a fictional upgrade of the P-40N Warhawk. Background: With the XP-40Q project failing to get of the ground Curtiss came up with an upgrade to the existing late model P-40 airframes that would give them performance on par with the XP-40Q and the P-51D. The resulting P-40S SuperHawk performs so well it rapidly becomes one of the front line fighters of choice. It will even go on to serve in the Korean War alongside the P-51D. The upgrade: - 2200HP Packard V-2250 engine (Packard built Merlin 1710 upgraded to 2200HP). - Four-bladed Rotol propeller. - 4 x 20mm Hispano Mk II cannons. - K-14 gyro gunsight. - Range: 650 mi (560 nmi, 1,100 km400 nmi (459 mi, 740 km). - Service ceiling: 43,500 ft (13,258 m). - Rate of climb: 3,650 ft/min (18.5 m/s). I have included skins for every late war WWII theatre the P-40 operated in as well as a ‘what if’ USAF WWII ETO and Korea skin. There are skins for the RAAF, RAF, RNZAF, USAF and Soviet Airforce. 13. Very cool aircraft, please upload when your ready :-)
  14. Turns out they are carrying one after all:
  15. I think the 3 month subscription is a good idea personally. Combat Ace is an outstanding community to be apart of. I also play another player mod-able game but their main community forum/ download site is full of sqabbling and fighting over model usage with little co-operation or collaboration. We have something here to be really proud of that deserves to continue and grow.
  16. I see your point, but as they carry AIM-9X on the wing tips they must want to retain some level of self defense, as fighters in Afghanistan still do etc, so what's your though on the AIM-9 instead of the AIM-120 for this purpose? USAF F-16 as an example carry a pair of AMRAAM'S over sidewinders in Afghanistan. Personally I would have thought the AMRAAM would provide more flexibility.

    Good news

    Good to hear mate
  18. It’s not very clear but from the released pictures they don't seem to be carrying an Aim-120 opposite the ATFLIR on the fuselage station for some reason?
  19. Isn’t that the truth! Such a shame the game doesn’t model the avionics for low level radar toss or lob bombing.
