Dont be put off - Ive given most of my post 1970 Jets Chaff/Flares and the games fine Just try 1 at first and see how it goes - you can always just remove the data.ini file if you dont like it.
-
You may also want to change some of the default weps - and the skin name if its different: eg AircraftType=F-105G <-----change Squadron=17WWS ForceID=1 Nation=USAF DefaultTexture=17 <----- change BaseArea=Korat RTAFB BaseMoveChance=0 RandomChance=100 MaxAircraft=16 StartAircraft=16 MaxPilots=16 StartPilots=16 Experience=100 Morale=100 Supply=50 MissionChance[sWEEP]=0 MissionChance[CAP]=0 MissionChance[iNTERCEPT]=0 MissionChance[ESCORT]=0 MissionChance=10 MissionChance[CAS]=0 MissionChance[sEAD]=100 MissionChance[ARMED_RECON]=40 MissionChance[ANTI_SHIP]=0 MissionChance[RECON]=0 UpgradeType=NEVER Supply[001].WeaponType=Mk81 Supply[001].Quantity=2880 Supply[002].WeaponType=Mk82 Supply[002].Quantity=1440 Supply[003].WeaponType=Mk84 Supply[003].Quantity=240 Supply[004].WeaponType=LAU-3A Supply[004].Quantity=480 Supply[005].WeaponType=Mk82SE Supply[005].Quantity=240 Supply[006].WeaponType=Rockeye Supply[006].Quantity=360 Supply[007].WeaponType=BLU-1 Supply[007].Quantity=240 Supply[008].WeaponType=AGM-45B Supply[008].Quantity=640 Supply[009].WeaponType=AGM-78A Supply[009].Quantity=240 Supply[010].WeaponType=CBU-24B Supply[010].Quantity=480 Supply[011].WeaponType=Tank450_F105 Supply[011].Quantity=480 Supply[012].WeaponType=Tank650_F105 Supply[012].Quantity=240 you will need to extract the campaigns data.ini file using the cat extractor

Deleting the games installer file is no different to you buying it on CD then throwing away the CD. No body should be deleting them - thats the game you have paid for - burn it to CD at the very least so its safe in case you need to reinstall.

Cannot patch digital downloaded version of Falcon Allied Force
MigBuster replied to The Crunge's topic in Falcon 4 Series
For reference only - From: http://forums.frugalsworld.com/vbb/showpos...mp;postcount=14 "you can not use the patches on our site with D3D version. they have seperate D2D patch versions and there at 1.12 AFAIK. Anyone with D2d patched to 1.12 I can PM me if you want 1.13 (to be able to use 1.12-1.13 patch on our site). Note you need to use only D2D patches on a D2d DL version." Ed (Lead Pursuit) -
Yeah Frame Rates - says it all really. Theres also a LOT of ground to cover in flight sims - Take WOV - so thatll be Thailand,Cambodia,Laos, Vietnam and a bit of china to map out then!. Most of your time is spent up in the air so any detail will be put around places where are more likely to see it (ie airbases) - and on the actual planes themselves. Most people dont care about the ground so its unlikely that a small developer (ie just about about all sims devs these days) has time to waste adding eye candy to it.
-
I noticed it listed in the command section as "Bail Out" - was thinking whether any WW1 pilots had this option - I suspect not Guess you can put it to be unassigned - then you wont get the urge to cheat :)

CCIP - Why Dont All Modern Era Have It ?
MigBuster replied to alex1981's topic in General Discussion
Posted in Wrong forum Short answer is that each individual HUD in each cockpit needs to be changed. -
Err That laser from the Death Star
-
As a test set the battlefield to 2010 - then choose a training mission - you should be given an F-16D Block 50 If not just start up a quick campaign and choose a squadron with block 50/52s and see
-
It does look different it should be lighter I remember seeing on the thread that it doesnt install it for the Block 40/42 Try using a block 50/52 and see what you get. This only installs a new 3D cockpit btw - the 2D cockpit remains the same
-
Yes use it in the the non clickable 3D pit only ( disable it in the 2D pit IMO) I switch cockpit views - a lot!

Hello Sidewinder How much RPM do you have when you are ready to go? If its on 25% then you need to hit the throttle ident to get it to 70% If thats okay then try mapping the throttle to some other keys to quickly check that its not the joystick slider causing the problem. Also in the "Controllers" tab in the "setup page" (in game) - make sure you can actually see the throttle slider move.
-
As long as its going into the correct path for your game it should be fine Only difference with mine is that I had Hitiles in it when I installed it Try searching zerks threads at frugalsworld - you may be able to ask him yourself . All I will say is run defrag, and scandisk for now then try again.
-
Worked first time for me What version of Allied Force are you running (latest is 1.0.13) Have you installed any mods?
-
See link at bottom left hand corner of the site below and read the instructions - this is no drag and drop. http://www.janhas.net/
-
If you are behind a jet try moving your nose up or down (smoothly)- sometimes I have to pitch up a bit to get a lock. There were some sound mods on here to change the lock tone to be a bit clearer also - that may come in handy for you.

Well this "No, they are not. The E and F and an added ECM suite. Block 60 is simply Block 50/52 with the addition of CFTs." is wrong - the Block 60 is based on the Block 50/52 yes, it does have CFTs yes - however if you see the link ive sent you it has an AESA radar, totally new cockpit layout, internal FLIR system, and supposedly an ASPJ Basically the block 60 is the most advanced F-16 by a mile The USAF block 50/52 have to carry ECM pods (centre line) and FLIR pods on the sides of the intake if they want the same capability. They still only have the APG-68 radar too - although I have read that a new smaller AESA is being developed (Grumman?) and may be fitted as part of a future upgrade but havnt seen anything confirmed in regards to upgrading the USAF fleet to Block 60 - they may even just upgrade to Block 70 by the time they get funding! As for this: " The Desert Falcon is most comparable to Israel's F-16Ds." I think they probably meant F-16I - but ive no idea whats in that - its mostly Iraeli avionics!!

See this http://www.f-16.net/f-16_versions_article10.html then send them to the forums over there

Is the game supposed to run a little slowish?
MigBuster replied to feldwebel's topic in Falcon 4 Series
You can either move the sliders in the campaign settings so your squadron is assigned more A-A missions - however this may mean you losing the campaign overall - depending on the overall effect it has. (pick a squadron that is not just A-G) You can just schedule your own Barcap,DCA, Intercept etc mission yourself if you have some jets available in your squadron You can also manually set up any mission you like for any other NATO squadron if you like (you will need to select the relevent weapons for them too!)- in fact managing the actual campaign becomes a requirement eventually. Some people can shorten the campaign a lot by managing a lot of it themselves (although you really dont have to bother if you dont want!) Bear in mind that in the first couple of days of a campaign you will be doing both A-A and A-G in every mission whether you like it or not. SOmetimes you will just have to jettison your A-g weps and get out of there. -

MigBuster replied to feldwebel's topic in Falcon 4 Series
Yep I get that Being a 10 year old game in some respects - I believe its to do with the game using your main CPU to process most of the graphics rather than handing it off to the GPU on the graphics card. Basically to run it faster you need a "dual core" main CPU (which it is programmed to utilize) -
What planes are we talking about here and what mode are you playing? Ive always seen pilots hanging in the air on parachutes - certainly enemy ones. For example shoot down 4 J-22s in a campaign over freindly territory and then you will see 4 parachutes hanging in the sky. If you dont see a parachute then they are dead and didnt eject In dogfight mode the enemy pilot seems reluctant to eject ive found.
-
They just evaluate their defences on the perceived current/future threats in that region of the world - like everyone else.
-
Ok well they do crash sometimes if you use x64 acceleration and they are too low ive found. I have never had my element just fly around in a circle in years of playing it - so not sure whats wrong with your install - but then again I usually just land first - taxi and press Esc + E it takes over an hour for one mission - so I try to get backand land ASAP If you issue weapons free they sometimes fly off after everything - then you need to issue rejoin or weapons hold
