He still "Tweets" on twitter... -
So far I've only been able to find 1 photo that actually shows a Shrike being carried during the war although they were commonly used, normal standard load out of 1 Shrike on each inboard pylon + 2 wing tanks & 2 Sparrows in the rear wells. Mk 80 Rockeye appears to be after Yom Kippur from what I'm seeing. I'll keep digging m8.

That photograph was just an airshow static loadout, rockets and aim9 were never carried together operationally.

I just paint my roads onto the tiles as needed using layers in photoshop, once you get the knack of getting them to join up correctly it really doesn't take too long to do. So far in my Vietnam terrain I have between 15 and 25ish different road tiles for each type of surface.....grass, forest, fields etc etc, the stock ones are way to repetitive for my liking. I never use the TE.....it's waaaaaaayyyyy to much hassel for my simple mind, just paint 'em in PS & load 'em the the good old TFD tool & the jobs done......Then I make the TOD's to suit using Mue's superb Tod editor. Same goes for rivers, not rocket science really.

I got all the WAPJ volumes after they were published, got them from various airshows over a period of time, all brand new from £3 to £6 each.. Same with the Wings of Fame series really apart from the hardback one( Which was also my first one ) which was a gift from my sister.....she found it in a charity shop for £1 , the rest were from shows around £4 each..... I got really lucky with the IAPR volumes, found them on ebay (15 volumes ) for £20 delivered, still need to get the rest but I've not seen any in my price range....yet. I've always been a bookworm & spent silly amounts of money on whatever I've been intrested in at the time, be it American cars, trucks, military vehicles......the list goes on & on only to sell them all ridiculously cheap when my intrests changed.........I wont be doing that again.. I only have 50-100 pdf type books, mainly flight manuals & stuff like that, cant beat real paper in your hands.. You can NEVER have too many books.
-
Is it just me ? What are your main areas of intrest? What does your collection say about you ? As I have about another 70-100 in boxes in my loft my collection says I need more space.....

That's the problem nowadays.....some one will release something they should'nt or they get passed on to one of the "look at MY work" types that are around here ....not you btw. I don't have DCS so I wont be making anything I've worked on available for it......just personal choice. -

I think a 2 sided mesh can cause this.......might be worth checking.
