    Sorry m8, this is not a redo of any one's work . I worked on the original release of this bird and have the original max files if there are issues then it'd all down to me for redoing the model in the first place. The SF series has become something of a minefield of things that you can and cant do because the "perfect" version has already been released....best way around this is for me only to release things in future ( if there is a future ) to anybody that actually want's it, warts and all.

  3. @allen, the loop and a series of deep valleys can be accessed by flying across the straight to the mainland, follow the road into the first valley then go exploring to find the others...

  5. Heading into the Mach loop, North Wales.... Turning hard... Out the other side.. Having worked on the original Tornado model created by ArmourDave way back in 2007 and trying to keep it up to date over the years I think I'm in a pretty good position to pass comment on this latest addition to the Strike Fighters stable. What guuruu has achieved here can only be described as OUTSTANDING work ! He and his team have put together the most complete and accurate representation of the mighty Tonka I have ever seen in any sim. The old Tornado models have served us well over the years, they were in their time as good as it gets but time has moved on and now we have a worthy replacement, if you don't already have these excellent new "guuruu" Tonka models you are definately missing out. As the "Mighty Fin" as we know it bowed out of RAF service just last week it's great to know I just have to fire up my pc and go fly a mission in one to be able to see one in the ( virtual )air again. I say again, a huge thanks to guuruu and his team.

  8. F-100F is designed for SF1 and the loadout ini is setup for SF1/YAP weapons, you'll need to mess around with the aircraft data ini and loadout ini to get stuff to show, not a big job really.
  9. seriously, your best solution is to forget whatever you did in SF1 and just start all over again with SF2.........or go back to SF1.
  10. You dont need an alpha channel for jpeg or bmp to work, even though screenshot .bmp's are saved with one.

In all fairness you don't need to extract anything from any cats to run the basic game, all sounds etc should work fine, like wrench said you just needed to get used to running SF2 as stock for a few days to make sure everything was working as it should be, then and only then should you try to change one thing at a time, it's easier for people to give you an answer if we have a known good starting point.......which we dont.
  13. Use Mue's cat extractor tool to extract the cats in the main SF2 directory(s), you use his lod viewer by selecting the aircraft main ini.....not data ini.
  14. If you've now go SF2 just get used to running the basic sim for a day or two, see where things are kept, dont try to run before you can walk, it will only end in fustration.

  16. Nope, ALL SF2 series lods are locked away, always have been.
  17. You dont need to extract the lod just read it. All you are after are the mesh names of the part you want to move, you will not be making any changes to the lod itself. Dont matter if its TW or 3rd party.
  18. Yep that's what I mean, I know to hide something you usually move it right out of sight of the pit itself, so I suppose to move it you would need to move the mesh by just a small ammount. I'm not 100% sure on this so please back up your stuff before you screw up your pit altogether........hopefully some of the more experienced pit guys will chip in here.

  21. No problem, Snoopy always added to the immersion of the SEA missions, just like being able to start on the ramp, 2 things that made the game more enjoyably & got cut for no sensible reason.
  22. Have you added the FAC callouts to the Missionsummary ini?....
