  1. You must have caught it while I was uploading the Version 2? I just checked it, try again please... =v= Ahhhh....A-12 - 'A referring to "Archangel"' cool! =V=
  2. I agree with you Wrench, just looking for a loop hole here. I read somewhere that the YF-12As were used to hide the existence of the Black A-12s after the existence of A-12s were accidentally leaked. So no, there is no need for an all Black Fighter, unless they were trying to passively mislead people into thinking the secret Black A-12s were actually Black YF-12As...I beleive F-104 or 106s replaced the need for F-12A. They were cheaper and not painted black. The name "Blackbird" was not officially designated until the SR-71, but that doesn't mean the name hasn't been around long before then. I think YF-12B and Cs never went into production as Fighters, instead the parts were re-purposed to became the secret SR-71s to replace the A-12s. This brings into question, Why "A-12"? This was a CIA bird, but it had an "Attack" designation? Curious, do you know? :)
  3. Thanks!
  4. We can have it both ways...LOL. I released Version 2 whereI renamed the jet's main folder to "YF-12A" so it will not change the original pack from F-12A to YF-12A. So the users can have both YF-12A and the F-12A jets...My bad!...Sorry about that Wrench.... =V=

  10. View File Black Skin for U-2A Black U-2 Add-on for the Lockheed U-2A Pack Released by Wrench by Viper63a This is an add-on skin so you will need the Lockheed U-2A Pack Released by Wrench installed first. You can download that "gem" here... http://combatace.com/files/file/11575-lockheed-u-2a-for-sf2/ While I was creating my own Hangar and Loading screens, I noticed most of the U2s in the pix were black. So I changed one of the skins to black. I didn't just darken the skin, I recreated each panel to retain the detail and quality of the original. Optional Hangar and Loading screens are included. Also available in this pack is an optional U2 (modified A12) Pilot in orange flight suit. To use this pilot, you will have to change the [Pilot] section of the "U-2_DATA.INI" file to use the "PilotModelName=U2PilotLate"... This is a new skin, so there should be no conflicts...but I recommend that you back up your mod folder just in case. * To install, simply unzip and copy the contents of the "To_Mod_Folder" folder to your StrikeFighter2 mod folder you have installed Wrech's pack to and Overwrite (if needed). My StrikeFighter2 mod on Win97 64-bit was..(yours may be different)... C:\Users\<your_id>\Saved Games\Thirdwire\StrikeFighter2... For more info, read the "Original_sf2_u2_pak_readme.txt"...I mean read it, there is some good stuff about flying the U2 in the original readme. Enjoy! =Viper= Submitter viper63a Submitted 11/01/2015 Category Other

  12. It is the AB emitter being called from the planes engine sections of the *data.ini file. I have been reducing LightRange= to 5 on many of the planes I download from CA. Not sure why, maybe people want to be visible from a distance? Want and optical indication of the AB? I don't know...But I find LightRange= to 5 works for me.
  13. Hey Blaze, in anticipation of ODS, I made all my updates for the F-111 packs. Barring any bugs, this pack should be set for now. Thanks!
  14. Fixed the missile locking and placement issues. Fixed and updated the HUD...I think that's it - V4 uploaded...unless someone finds something else. Thanks for all the feedback... =V=

  16. Looks awesome! Thanks!
  17. The missile locking fix messed up the missile placement...fix that with v3.6....uploaded.
  18. I had no idea the F-111 skins template was available for download?! I re-applied some of the detail layers from the template to the skins I upgraded. During my initial work, I blurred or smudged some of the detail - not a big deal and most of you may have never noticed. But I did, so I put them back. The skins are crisper with new rivets (most notable on the EF-111As) and the details now pop from the skins as Slick/Fargo intended them to. It's not a big change, trivial at best...but if it makes the F-111 just a little bit better...I'm up for it...LOL. Thanks!
  19. WHAT?!!!! The Enterprise?!!!! WHERE??????? Please :) OMG!!! This is amazing...PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHERE I CAN DOWN LOAD THIS IS AWESOME GEM!!!! PLEASE!!!!! :) http://combatace.com/topic/68068-somewhere-in-earths-atmosphere/
