  2. I'll try as 7zip all with no internal zip files then
  3. try re-downloading, maybe you have corrupted file..?
  4. Total Commander shell with integrated packers 7zip is 9.20
  5. try winzip for the inner zips, should work
  6. hmmm, works for me..? re-checked the zips from my HDD, they do work just fine

not nore than error at pilot creation page... have to install again, never happened to me before with OFF

  8. it goes down to the amount of extra work 3D guy wants to put into his/her model -cutting the fuselage and calling it in data ini is some 5 minutes of work, but the pros of this are HUGE and go far beyond cockpit issues -more detailed DM, bulletholes placement (more parts to place _holes. into) etc...
  9. View File WW2 "generic, stand-in" cockpits pack This pack contains 8 "generic" World War 2 era cockpits for use in WW2 installs. Tested in Series2 ONLY, no idea about Gen1 compatibility!!! You have been warned!!! Info: "Generic" means these cockpits are somewhat similar to various real life ones, and are meant as replacement ones for aircrafts that by default have no custom, specific cockpits of their own. Rivet counters and/or WW2 experts please note that thesse cockpits do NOT represent any specific real-life models/variants, so if you seek for ultimate realism in modelling this pack is NOT for you. These cockpits are as follows, with the planes I use them as a guide: EARLY_WW2_COCKPIT_1 -for MartletII, Martlet III EARLY_WW2_COCKPIT_2 -for Macchi202 and other, italian gauges EARLY_WW2_COCKPIT_3 -british fighters EARLY_WW2_COCKPIT_4 -FiatG50, open cockpit with italian gauges MID_WW2_COCKPIT2 -generic, light fighter MID_WW2_COCKPIT3 -P-39D, maaaybe some soviet fighter..? Late_WW2_COCKPIT1 -P-47D, heavy ground attack aircraft, single engine bombers LATE_WW2_COCKPIT2 -like above but with bubble canopy, for late models of Jug, other heavy fighters Submitter Stary Submitted 06/03/2011 Category Prop Cockpits
  10. Mindblowing detail there Volker!
  11. depends on the plane -IF the propeller is build as/linked to part of the fuselage, it will hide too, some planes have also nose node defined, these seem to work fine with fuselage hidden My install is so-so, still need some tweaks I guess
  12. thanks Nigel, guys, good news -pack uploaded, pending approval. Bad news, I wasn't able to bake the textures (lack of Max experience) so they aren't top-notch graphics-wise. Anyway, should be available soon

  14. instead of adding the HideExternalNodeName= in the cockpit data file, set ShownFromCockpit=False to the Fuselage in the Warhawk _data.ini edit:typo mind this, but hiding the fuselage, on some models you might hide the fan this way, depends how the plane was created
  15. Lou, you're a humble man indeed

    Wow.

much more than 5 to 10 km I guess
  17. nothing at the moment I'm affraid...
  18. yes and no -the shader does the fading part, while the distance at which trees pop-up is being locked for now. Pop-up in a sense that they do, but as being at that distance fully transparent (thanks to shader) you don't notice this. Simply, Detailmeshsize= seems no longer taken into account, OR we don't know yet how to extend the fading distance. From PMs I know JSF_Aggie may be up with something I think
  19. seems sun starts to cast shadows too early from beneath the horizont
  20. The Creator forgot to check CastShadow= and ReceiveShadow= on Planet Earth what terrain is it? I'm geting some shadows errors on Morocco and Tunisia maps from WoA
  21. I wonder how much performance hit will it cause compared to HiTR..?
