  1. Sorry for being ignorant, but of course I'd like to thank some people I met and worked with over the years and that are of course also responsible for this title! In no particular order: cocas, wrench, dtmdragon, bigstone, denissoliveira, coupi, makoto, soulfreak, ravenclaw007, eole Thank you guys!
  2. Afaik, Eole was planning or doing revamps of Mytais Phantom-Skins at some time. I don't know the status though, maybe ask him. I'm also for the date-switch, although for campaign-use there may a problem. I didn't know until recently, that you can only upgrade either skin or plane in campaigns, not both at the same time. Not sure, if this applies here too, but it's something I encounter with my Vietnam Skyhawks without a proper solution yet. Maybe in the Phantoms case, one could just copy the skins to all affected models of an upgrade, as the changes are small enough.
  3. Hey guys, sorry for being late to the party, but as some of you know, I'm moving my living place half across Germany. On workdays I do my job and on weekends I have to get things done in the old flat 500km away. Just came home from a very busy weekend again. If all goes well, I'm finally done at the end of this month and I hope to get back to modding and skinning after that. The last weeks and months I hardly did anything useful regarding SF2, but few things that are on the way: - Update to the TA-4F-FastFACs - highres skins and some fakepilot-addons - Foreign TA-4 Skyhawks (Australia, Israel (with and without extended exhaust tube), New Zealand, Indonesia,...) - all Vietnam Skyhawks units and deployements (long term project) - early AD Skyraider templates - new TA-4 SKyhawk-model from scratch - since it's my first project (and done in Blender), I don't know if it ever leads to something useful, but we'll see. The fuselage is done at the moment. Thank you for this honor, my friends! And now Cheers!
  4. That sounds like a great year to come! Good to know, that you're still around. P.S. No apologies needed. We all know, that (real) life is a heartless bitch.
  5. Happy new year!
  6. I think he asks for a link to a video, that explains the installation of patches and mods step by step, because he doesn't understand the tutorials(? - maybe knowledgebase). I guess his english isn't very well.
  7. If you don't want to play recent games with max. settings, then your GPU is fine. I would go for 16GB RAM, too.
  8. I'm still moving, so not really active, but I took some hours off to do some modding and actually play SF2 again. ;)
  9. I'm glad you like it. One day you have to tell me, how to do those vintage pictures. These look awesome. :) Mandatory screenshot
  10. Updated to v2.0 Have Fun!
  11. TA-4J Update is uploaded. Should be available after Admin-approval. Have fun!
  12. Here's an update: TA-4F_mod_v2.7z Template's are not included this time, as they didn't change. Kevin's updated hitboxes added (Thanks!) added loadout.tga added sounds adjusted startdate for late variant to 1972 Thanks for the Hitbox-update! Feel free to update the package if you like and the planes had the straight probe installed. The bent probe was used at a later date and a quick look showed that around 1971 they still had the straight one. Copy & paste error. Sorry! I played around with several ideas for TA-4 mods lately. The wing-issue is something I don't have... I copied the whole package into an unmodded install I have and the wings are visible (also in my test-install I use for modding). So I don't know why you don't see the wings. The TA-4J skin should work, but the colors of the fakepilot stuff will not match. Just wait a little, at the moment I update the TA-4J-pack.
  13. The planes in the picture look like the old TA-4Fs you already had. You should find 2 new planes from the mod: TA-4F Skyhawk (Bent Probe) TA-4F Skyhawk (Straight Probe) Just copy your skinfolders (and only these!) into those 2 folders. The cockpit I use is "borrowed" from TWs A-4F, so you should have it.
  14. Shadow issues of the original LOD come from the outer pylons IIRC. As these pylons do not look very good, I did new ones, added via Fakepilot-Method (Unfortunately Fracture is gone and doesn't reply to PM). So that part is "repaired" somehow. Geary wanted to convert 331Killerbees FastFAC-skins with a new template I sent him. Nevertheless here's a quick updated TA-4F-mod together with the new templates. Plane is setup for SF2, old pylons and some other small parts are removed via ini-edit. New stuff include pylons, sidewinder-rails, several droptanks and some small stuff around the model. Loadouts can be improved I guess. I also noticed, that Hitboxes need adjustment. Have fun. TA-4F_mod + HDTemplates.7z
  15. Navy Training in the 80's - the "hawk"-Part of VT-86 Sabrehawks (T-39 Sabreliner were the "Sabre"-part) ;) Revamped TA-4J skins + fakepilots.
  16. I really like the vintage look of your screenshots! Some training mission in the 80's in the US...
  17. This looks nice! Thanks for sharing.

  20. added new version that contains both versions - set up as gunpod and tank
  21. You're probably right. On the other hand - the bdoug-pod exists for years now and nobody really cared that is was set up as a gunpod ever since...

  24. Hey there. What I did here, was adding an external model, that reaches into the cockpit and therefor is visible. In your case the mainproblem is that you need a display of some sort. The designator image is set up in the cockpit.ini, so I think the cockpit has to provide something that can act as display. I think, the only thing, that can be done is to add a static display model, that always shows the same pic. But I'm not really an expert here, so maybe someone else knows more. I'm also interested in a solution for this for a possible A-4S/SU which requires a MFD to be added to the cockpit.
  25. Jungle Scooters - Almost done. I will also upload the D-704 refueling pod tomorrow.
