      Credits: Thanks to gepard for his terrain tutorial, to Polak for his textures and terrain objects, to Wrench
      for his range targets and to TK for a such open game !

      This is a fictional terrain as I could not get the right textures. However you will have 5 kinds of landscape
      Sea, Desert, Farms/Fields, Mountain and Snow with many interesting targets to play with.

      Feel free to improve this terrain. Just give credits to Polak, Wrench, gepard, TK and myself.

    4. AKU-58 launcher for SU-22M4 & MiG-25BM

      AKU-58 Launcher for MiG-25BM and Su-22M4

      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Hello everybody !!!

      As you know ( or not ) some soviet missiles are launched from AKU-58 rail.

      These missiles are : Kh-29 ,Kh-58 ,Kh-31 ,Kh-35 ( and Kh-59 but it not exist in SF yet )

      I don't create an AKU-58 3D model but I use existed "2br" double bomb rack from bunyap weaponpack
      -it looks very similar.

      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      I include to this mod some others modification:

      MBD2-500 :Soviet double bomb rack for MiG-25BM/RB, MiG-29 or Mig-27 using "mer" 3D model
      MBD6-500 :Soviet multiple bomb rack for MiG-25BM/RB using "mer" 3D model
      Empty Pylon :it's for Su-22M4 because when the internal wings pylons are empty they are not seeing in the game. I never seen the Su-22M4 without this pylons and I think they can't be remowed
      This attachment only make thise pylons visibility when they are empty.

      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      Used 3D models: "2br", "mer" from Benyap WeaponPack.

      Original DATA and LOADOUT files for MiG-25BM from Mig-25 package by wpnssgt, usafmtl, tomcat1974, sundowner,ghostrider, deuces and moonjumper.

      Original DATA and LOADOUT files for Su-22M4 from Michael (Gepard) Su-22M4.

    6. LORAN F-4Ds Part One

      This mod depicts the first 28 F-4Ds (by serial number) modified with the AN/ARN-92 LORAN-D long range air navigation system which served with PACAF in Southeast Asia ca. 1971-72. The 3-D antenna part was created by FastCargo for everyone's freeware use and I am in his debt. I used the idea from BadFrank to add the antenna as a permanent installation. Not included are the black-bellied aircraft of the 497th TFS (Night Owls). Part 2 will have the last bunch of serials for those die-hards that need them all.

      The mod is set up as a separate aircraft, and you will need the original F-4D.lod file from your original WOV install for this to work. Version 3 has minor textures and decals.ini fix (Thanks BadFrank).

      Enjoy,

    8. Desert Airfield Groundtexture

      Desert Airfield Ground Texture Replacement for Israel 2 Terrain

      By Gerwin 8-3-2008

      DESCRIPTION:
      Using the 'Israel 2' terrain in 'Wings over Europe' Game I noticed the
      airfields are placed upon a unique ground texture that doesn't
      blend well with the surrounding terrain.
      the files responsable are:
      Feldflugplatz.bmp for airfields near farmland.
      FeldflugplatzWueste.bmp for airfields in the desert.
      (or FeldflugplatzWüste.bmp in the earlier version)

      This package includes a feldflugplatz.bmp drawn from scratch
      and a FeldflugplatzWueste.bmp that is a mere copy of the
      surrounding desert.

      I suspect one can easily get the tiles to work for other
      desert terrains/tilesets.

      INSTALLATION:
      Copy the included files to a folder that contains
      the terrain data, for example:
      WOE\terrain\Israel 2\
      (You may want to backup/rename the original files first.)

      THANKS TO:
      Third Wire for the Strike Fighters Based Games
      Michael (Gepard) for the Israel 2 terrain and additional tileset.

      thanks Marcelo "Marcfighter" da Silva for decals,and Mannie for test it to me.
      It's my first skinnning attempt so,its not "good" and take easy with critisism ;)

    17. F-1C "New" cockpit .ini

      This .ini file modifies the stock Kfir cockpit from WoI for the F-1C. It replaces the RWR and makes it a Radar scope. You MUST have WoI to extract the full cockpit from the Kfir to use this. This cockpit.ini can also be used for other aircraft that has a Radar scope in the corner.

      To add a acoustic RWR warning...... add the following lines to your avionics file (or update the RWR entry);

      [RWRTrackSound]
      Priority=HIGH
      3DSound=TRUE
      Looped=TRUE
      NumBuffers=1

      [RWRLockSound]
      Priority=HIGH
      3DSound=TRUE
      Looped=TRUE
      NumBuffers=1

      Many thanks to TK, the ThirdWire people, the makers of the great Mirage F-1 series (at Column5's site) and to the great KB section here (who showed me how to do this real simple mod) and to all involved with this great series.

      This is a 95% original skin representing one of the JU-88A11 units that operated over the North African desert. Only the bomb bay door and gear door interiors from Gramps' original KG51 skin have been retained.

    21. IDF Bonanza V (1948)

      Beechcraft Bonanza V35
      IDF 1948

      The IDF/AF operated 3 Bonanzas from 1948 through to 1952. Two were purchased in South Africa from donation from the local Jewish community and flown overland to Israel. The other was bought in the Netherlands. Initially bombs were dropped by hand out the cargo door but later racks were added. There were even experiments with strafing - a crewman would lie on the floor of the cabin with a machinegun out the cargo door while the pilot circled the target.

      There are no hardpoints to the model so no bombracks but its fine for recon.

      #################
      The underlying panel lines come from the paint kit for the Beech Bonanza V35B (Flightsim) by Alexandre Cadel.

      Thanks go to allenjb42 for his help doing the skin for this one.

      Wing Palette shows a green and tan Bonanza, while the surviving photos show a single mottled colour (tan or green) over the aluminium base from earlier in 1948. I've chosen the latter.

    22. Fix for F-4E serial numbers

      This is a fix for F-4E serial numbers used by TAC when deployed to Southeast Asia in 1972-73. The first two digits are the Fiscal year of manufacture, unlike PACAF's system of dropping the first digit of the serial number.

      Just drop these into the objects-decals folder and over-write the old files.

      In addition, new TGA files are supplied for TAC F-4Ds of the 49th TFW from Holloman which deployed to Takhli RTAFB. These aircraft had serial numbers in all white and were of a split-stencil style. The new F-4D decals.ini has these at the bottom of the list with "HO" after the serial number. All 20 listed aircraft actually flew with theone of the four squadrons of the 49th at Takhli with "HB", "HC", "HD" and "HE" tailcodes, then all recoding at Takhli to "HO" codes in mid-1972.

      Sorry for the mistake,

      Mike D.

    25. High Resolution PR ANW Terrain Tiles

      *****High Resolution PR ANW Terrain Tiles*****
      by Brain32

      This is a set of high resolution (1024x1024) tiles for America North West terrain. Installation is simple, just unrar all the *.BMP's into your ANW terrain.
      Tiles were as usual made with help of satelite imagery, and are actually taken more from mid West USA than North West, but I think they still fit into general terrain idea.
      Dont get too concerned with high resolution or the size of the tiles, ANW terrain has only 6 tile types so this mod will not have any performance impact whatsoever, I tested it personally under WOI on my aged system and it went super smooth.
