    1. SF2 N1K1 "Rex" and N1K2-J 'George"

-- Something for the PTO players --
      = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*There is a possibility that this mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment. Also, the DestroyedModel referenced for both aircraft 'looks' for the SF2V A-1 Skyraider, hence the Full 4/5 Merged reccomendation*

Mods/reskins/redcals for Wolf257's IJN fighter, and Pasko's Rex Floatplane. This package contains BOTH full aircraft:

N1K1 Kyofu "Rex" by Pasko, with both it's skins/decals
"Black" - Ohtsu Kokutai, Lake Biwa, Japan, Sept. 1944
"Green" 22 Kokutai, Balikpapan, Borneo, 1945

      N1K2-J Skinden-kai "George" by Wolf257, with 3 skins/decals
      "343" Genda's Squadron of Experts
"IJN" 210 Kokutai, Phillipines, 1944 (real Ku used the early model mid-wing N1K1-J)
"IJN2" Yokosuka Air Group, 1945, Home Islands Defense

All George skins are in jpg format, the Rex keeps them in bmp as they are quite small (512x), and conveting them might loose some detailing (meaning: I didn't want to create new templates, and they look OK as they are). Decal Randomization is TRUE. Both get new SF2 versions of the original 'box art' hangar screens.

All weapons, (ok a new drop tank), pilot figures, are included. A new (almost) SF2-compliant FM for bot was created. As always, since I'm really not an FM Guru, further tweeks/adjustments are necessary. Also, the physical models are quite old, and any flaws/defects/etc cannot be repaired/fixed/etc. It is as it is. The "FakePilot" method is used on the George to add the belly pylon. Outerpylons are still 'not there' for bombs. Damage textures are the 'original' tgas from Gen1.
Stary was kind enough to revist and fiddle a new cockpit for the George; the Rex keeps it's original release version.

Both have semi-compliant SF2 Flight Models, but they do need further fine tuning by experts. All lighting on both aircraft is 100% historically correct.
For those wishing to create other serials, the "TNum.psd" can be found in the Decals folders for the proper skins.

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. All original readmes, when locatable, are included for historical purposes

    2. These are layered Photoshop templates for the stock Thirdwire F-105D sized 1024x1024. These are made partially by hand and partially by superimposing modified stock USAF silver textures, so the overall detail is 99% of the default skins + a little extra in the form of new paint chips and weathering.

Ludo M.54 for initial work (rivets and panel lines)

To be noted i use blending effects to achieve uniform colors a lot so if some layer does not change color if you try a hue/saturation change, that's why. So go instead to Blending options and color overlay. I use this to achieve uniform coloring on all textures.

    4. Here you have a collection of generic skins representing various squadrons that operated the North American P-51D/K Mustang during WWII.
They are NOT 100% accurate and definitely NOT perfect since camoflage and/or markings patterns differed from plane to plane within the same squadron, therefore
the term "generic" (constructive criticism will be accepted, however, rivet-counters, nit-pickers and haters in general, well, you can talk amongst yourselves).
The idea being to give you the chance to fly your favorite Mustang squadron and rack-up your own kills, and for that porpuse I've also included a set of "kill"
      markings.
As with the previous pack this was going to be a more accurate list but due to an increased work load I no longer have the time to go thru the process of creating and matching serials
and individual markings to each aircraft.
Some of the squadrons make use of the stock Mustang serial numbers and other stock numbers modified by me.
You must have the following for this pack to work:
      1. Strike Fighters 2 Expansion Pack 1 installed to get the P-51.

      4. WWII weapons pack
Also, you'll need to update your squadron list.

    6. SF2 WW2 F4U-2 Corsair Nightfighter (Birdcage) by Mod Mafia/TMF (Ver 2.0)

*Version 2.0, for post 7/13 patch. This Version Replaces the earlier one in its Entirety. Although, for the most part, the changes only relate to the wing mounted radar pod. (data and loadout ini edits*

      = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*Note: There is a distinct possibility that this mod may not work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs at any patch level, due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment. End Users ™ that attempt to do so, do so at their own risk. A Full 4/5 Merged install is reccomened; at very minimum, SF2:V is required, as this aricraft references the A-1H's destroyed model*

*Note #2: this mod will REPLACE, in it's entirety, the F4U-2 I built using Wolf's as a base. You may (well, should!) delete that mod completly*

This represents the F4U-2 Corsair Nightfighter, as used by the USMC and USN. This is a mod of the TMF Birdcage Corsair, and uses the -5N cockpit (which I know ain't correct), which has the radar scope.

New for Ver 2.0: The AN/APS-4 wing-mounted radar pod has been added as a "fake pilot seat", and will NOT move when the wings are folded. It was done like this, simply because in the post 5/13 and 7/13 patch world, the right wing would disappear. Completely.

      Units depicted are:

      VF(N)-101 US Navy

      VMFN-532 USMC

All skins are in jpg format, Decal Randomization is TRUE (these decals are reused from the Wolf Corsair mod). Damage textures are the old tga versions. The Hangar screen is the same one resued, and is SF2 compliant.

      When 'in game', you'll see

      "F4U-2 Corsair (TMF)"

on the aircraft drop-down selection window.

The aircraft is fully carrier capable. The canopy operates via the Standard Animation Keystorke ™ of Shift/0. Breaking with Modder tradition, the wingfold operates via the "airbrakes" key. I didn't change to the standard Shift/9, as the last time I did it, I broke it!. So, it is as it was originally set by Bpao. However, commented out ARE the sections that do allow for Standard Keystroke ™ animation wingfold. It is suggested you do NOT change it from how it's done now. Doing so creates "visual oddities" on carrier parked aircraft (the right wing is missing!)

All lighting is historically accurate. WW2 weapons (ie: bombs), pilot figres, etc, are NOT included. You should have them already from the other Corsairs.

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please READ them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too for futher explinations, clarifactions, illuminations and so forth.

    7. SF2 WW2 FAA Grumman Martlet I, III and IV

      -- Something for the WW2 ETO/MTO players --

      = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*There is a possibility that this mod may work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, but due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment, it may not without serious editing.*
*Full-5 Perfered, as these aircraft make use of the SF2NA Carrier-basing statements*

Further mods and rebuilds to Pasko's Wildcat, recreate Royal Navy Martlets. This is a compilation, in some respects, of all the RN Wildcat mods. However, most of the skins and decals ARE new builds.
Aircraft and Skins in the Pak are...

      Martlet I/III

804 Squadron (originally land based in the Orkneys)
805 Squadron (semi-fictional "what-if" based aboard HMS Eagle in the Eastern Med)
805 Squadron (Land based, Western Desert -standard RAF Desert Camo)

      Martlet IV

819 Squadron (? or was it 891?) based aboard HMS Activity (??, well, escort carriers in the North Atlantic)

It should be noted the 'standard FAA camo scheme' used (except on 805DAF) is usable anywhere in the ETO or MTO for the timeframe these aircraft were in operation.
Like the USN Wildcats, the Standard Animation Keystorkes ™ are used for the Canopy (Shfit/0), and Wingfold (Martlet IV -ONLY!-), is Shift/9.
Sounds, pilot figure and weapons are included, as are new SF2 versions of the Hangar screen. A new cockpit by Stary is used for both; his 'generic' Early WW2 pit.

AND!!! by acting now and downloading this mod, you get an extra expecial BONUS!!!

      Attacker Class CVEs

Modded (once again), from the USN CVE, which is in fact a mod of Hinchbrook's MAC. All set up, SF2NA-wise for use by the Royal Navy!!

As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.
Both Pasko's original Wildcat, and my original Martlet release readmes are included. Give them a perusal; there's some (semi) historical notes and stuff that might be of interest. As always, I hope I got everyone in the Credits.

    8. SF2 WW2 Gloster Gladiator Mk.2 and Sea Gladiator by Cocas

      -- Something for the WW2 ETO/MTO players --
      = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*This mod will most likely =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, due to some of the modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment, expecially in the case of the latest MAX exported user to create them. Users that try, do so at their own risk.*

Some modification, tweeks, reskin and so forth for Cocas's fun little Gladiators; this package contains SF2 =ONLY= versions of his Gladiator Mk.2 and Sea Gladiator.

      Skins and decals included are...

      Gladiator Mk.2
112 Squadron, RAF as seen at Helwan, Egypt 1940
1 Squadron, SAAF, in East Africa 1940-ish
1ère Escardrille de Chasse, Belgian AF, 1940

      Sea Gladiator, Royal Navy

RN Markings are rather 'generic'; the first 18 serials are those that HMS Eagle dropped off on Malta, and eventually became the Hal Far Fighter Flight. Those 100% historicaly known to have been used on Malta are marked with a star (*).

All skins are in jpg format. Decal Randomization is set to TRUE for all skins. New SF2 hangar screens are included, as is a destroyed model, pilot figure, and engine sound. You shoud have the 303 MGs in your /Guns folder already; it is not supplied herein.

      When 'in game', you'll see

      "Gladiator Mk.II (KAF)" and
      "Sea Gladiator (KAF)"

on the drop down menu. This will differentiate it from any other Gladiators you may (or may not) have. (the KAF stands for Kermit Aircraft Factory )
The canopy opens/closes with the Standard Animation Keystroke, Shift/0. The Sea Gladiator is fully carrier qualified, and has the latest SF2NA statements for carrier basing (on those terrains that have CV Zones built into them)

As an Extra Added Bonus, for use in the Med, some Regia Marina warships,
      Cavour Class BB
      Condottieri Class CL/CA
      Navigatori Class DD
      and
      HMS Eagle.

Other Royal Navy ships (UK) can be found in the PTO ships pak.
All are UPconverted for SF2NA-style usage. As with all the ships, they need more work on adding more 2ndary and AAA guns, but at least you'll have something floating around! (please note, they are now named differently from the ones used on the Westen Desert, Tunisia and WW2 Libya maps. Updates for those terrains _types inis are in 'the works' and will be relasesed in the VERY near future. I hope!!)

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please =READ= them.
Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.
