SF2:V A-1H Skyraider, 6st SOS, Plekeiu, MPPD Skin Remod Pak 1/22/2026
= For SF2:V (but can be used in all merged installs) =
*You =must= have SF2:V to have access to the stock 3rd Wire A-1H Skyraider. Please note, the cockpit is NOT included. You'll have to locate and install that yourself*
This pack contains a remod of a skin/decal set originally done by Mike "MPPD" Druzolowski for the Razbam A-1H Skyraider, for SFP1. It has now been adapted for use on the stock 3W A-1Hs. The skins are a reuse of the stock 3 tone SEA camo, in jpg format.
The Skin included herein is for
6th SOS
as seen in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam war, and based at Pleiku AB. All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. All serials and markings are 100% historically correct, as per MPPD.
I've included MPPD's original readme for historical purposes, as it has interesting information.
Once in game, on the Loadout Screen's "squadron selection" drop down, you see
6th SOS, 633rd ACW
As is always recommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions.
Please read the Notes section for other possibly useless information, and (hopefully) full credits.
Please also take note of changes in the Standard Disclaimer in the "Legal BS" section at the bottom.

SPADS !!!
A-1J Skyraiders of the US Navy
Hi Rez skins
To be used on the stock 3W SF2 A-1J Skyraiders
Continuing my series of Skyraider skins, these ones are for late mark Spads, of the US Navy.
Included are :-
VA-25 "Fist of the Fleet" 2 different skins from 2 consecutive cruises the first on USS Coral Sea, and the secon on USS Midway
VA-115 "Arabs" again 2 different skins, both on the same tour of duty on USS Kittyhawk, the second set are a rework of Wrench's original experimental camo scheme, again mine is not 100% accurate, but I think it conveys the general idea. Only 2 or 3 Airframes were actually painted in this scheme, but it was just easier to do all of the squadron in it, the scheme was an experiment, which was found to be non beneficial, and in fact a bit of a problem for deck crews whilst operating at night or in bad weather, so it was dropped , however it does look pretty cool, the aircraft had only very basic markings and I have tried to replicate this with these skins, the other set of "ARABS" are in the standard Grey/White scheme.
VA-145 "Swordsmen" aboard USS Intrepid
VA-152 "Friendlies" on the USS Oriskany and they were called the Friendlies at this time NOT the Black Aces, or the Fighting Aces, the Name is correct for the Time period, the Squadron I believe are now known as the Mavericks !!
As with all my previous uploads, everything you need is in the package ( obviously you need the aircraft in the first place hahahaha ) Again I will give the Gypsies warning about the Data.ini, make sure you DO use it , or you WILL have clipping issues !!!
I will also say, as mentioned my my friend Mr Wrench, these are not 100% completely new , shiny, you cant bend it, built from the ground up , skins, but rather total reworks of skins that are already available ( in most cases) Hopefully I have improved on previous and older ones, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed doing them for you all !!
All the usual shout outs ( you know who you are !! )
As always ENJOY !!!!

VNAF A-1 Skyraiders
Also known as "The Crazy Water Buffalo"
Hi Rez skins
To be used on the stock 3W SF2 A-1H Skyraiders
My next set and final set for the A-1H/J Skyraiders, is the one I just KNOW you have been waiting for in breathles anticipation !! Oh you giddy young things !! Yes these are the VNAF versions of the Skyraider.
The contents are as follows :-
83 SOG
514 FS
516 FS
518 FS
The 514 skins are just a rework of KULBIT80's skin and decal set, I have just updated the skins , the other 3 Squadrons are all new decal sets, and reworked skins, 514's skins are overall grey, 516 & 518 are pretty much standard USAF 3 tone over grey schemes with the usual over the top Vietnamese markings, SOOOOO TACTICAL !! The lack of tail markings on the 516th airframes is correct they just didnt 'ave 'em so there !! I have done the 518th skins as slightly earlier ones so I could do the snazzy white super tactical and camo friendly cowling bands, I have put anti glare panels on these skins even though in reality they didnt have them, but I thought the looked a bit odd like that so anti glare are us deal with it !! harharharhar finally the 83 SOG scheme.....I mean WOW...Really !! hyper tactical or what !! they do look we snazzy though eh chaps !! these aircraft carried no national markings except for the fin flashes, I know the reasons elude me too .
Anyhow as with the previous skins I have done everything is all inclusive AT NO EXTRA CHARGE mind you !!
All the usual shout outs to all and sundry, youre all groovy froods and you rock !!
Now what are you waiting for, get into your Spad and go kick some Commie bottom !!! and of course, as always ENJOY !!!
SPADS , HOBO'S & ZORRO'S
Also known as the A-1/AD-6 Skyraider
For the stock 3rd Wire SF2:V A-1H Skyraider
Continuing on from my previous uploads and reworks of USN and USMC Skyraiders, I present to you, for your delectation, and enjoyment the next in my rework of our beloved mud moving , snarling, piston powered , and rather handsome USAF Versions , I have made 3 Camouflage versions of the Aircraft from the 1st SOS, 22nd SOS, and 602st SOS of the 56th Special Operations Wing .
22 SOS is in the Zorro scheme of Camo over Nite, I am aware that not all the aircraft in the Squadron were painted this way, however rather than making a split squadron, the whole load of 'em are nite unders, if ya don't like it....well tough !! 1 SOS is done in the more usual "day" scheme, but is very dirty drab and scratched up, whilst 602's airframes are reasonably clean ( for a skyraider) And a slightly lighter colour tone with the more usual Light Grey unders.
I have tried to get the numbers and nose art matched up on the different squadrons airframes, and yes I am aware that some of the pilots flew on different squadrons and took their aircraft's name with them, so some of the ones I have portrayed, may appear with different tail codes etc, depending on your sources.
I have pretty much reworked the camo schemes from scratch, and I hope that these beautiful aircraft meet your approval .
Everything you need is in the package decals, sounds, pilots , weapons etc. etc. etc. also the Data.ini for the aircraft.........Be advised, you MUST use this Data.ini with these aircraft, firstly because I have enabled the Chaff dispensers, and secondly, it kills off the clipping issue that started me off on this project in the first instance................YOU HAVE BEEN INFORMED AND WARNED!!
That I think covers it, all the usual shout outs to Wrench and Nyghtfall for their Templates, which are instrumental in these 'ere skins And to anyone else who had anything to do with the original , aircraft, cockpits, and any other stuff that I have to be politically correct about .
Please feel free to leave feedback ( it is much appreciated) also if you find any glitches that may have slipped by my (cough) quality control (cough) department, please give me a shout so I can attempt to fix it.
Get out there, move some mud, scare the bejesus out of the baddies in Injun country, and above all ENJOY !!!
F-4D (78) USAF, North Dakota Air National Guard Skin and Decal Pak
= For SF2 (Full-4 Merged Recommended)
*Note: can be used in any install with access to the F-4D_78*
Slight modifications to a 1stGen skin pak done by "Chris" in 2005, brings it to SF2.
This skin represents the 178th FIS, 119th FIG North Dakota Air National Guard, aks "The Happy Hooligans". All decals used herein are from this original pak. The skins are stock, with a new-made _5.bmp to add the painted on fin stripe
Other mods included are the data and userlist inis, with corrected 'end-of-service-dates', as many ANG units seem to have used the D until the early 1990s. Also, the canopy has been activated via the usual manual animation key (shift/0). Couldn't pass that one up!
For grins and giggles, jpg copies of the skin maps are included .. in case someone wants to save HD space.
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them!! The original 2005 readme is included. Any mistakes/errors are all mine.
Happy Landings!!

F-4E (78) USAF Indiana Air National Guard Skin and Decal Pak
= For SF2 (Full-4 Merged Reccomended)
*Note: can be used in any install with access to the F-4E_78*
Slight modifications to a 1stGen skin pak done by Joe "DrDoyo" Royal in 2007, to bring it to SF2. This is my way of saying "Thank You". And remembering and honoring one of our own.
This skin is the "Egypt1" 2-tone gray camo from his 3-skin pak. I chose this one, as more aircraft (according to his notes) were in this pattern than the others.
The skin has had some very small tweeks, to fill in some bits, and is renamed to fit the _78 model Phantom. I made the assumption (oh! that word!) these would have been the variant he worked on in the Indiana ANG. If I'm wrong, my extensive apologies! With a simple rename of the skin bmps, it can be used for any/all F-4E variants.
All decals were done by DrDoyo, and reflect 100% accuracy for the aircraft depicted.
Randomization is set the "TRUE" for the 25 tail numbers (it might even work!).
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them!! DrDoyo's original readme is included, as it has nice personal historical notes. Any mistakes/errors are all mine.
Happy Landings!!

1st SOS skin & markings for the stock A1-H for SF2V (Strike Fighters Vietnam).
A little enhancement to give the stock A-1H a little more street cred !
Oh, it includes a modified ini's to make it flyable and has an opening canopy (if you haven't done so already ;) all you'll need is a 3rd party cockpit if you haven't got one.
Or you could just use it as AI...
The decals are by originally by mppd (thanks Mike !) all I've done is place them on here and also touched up the stock skin.
Be sure to check out column5's SFV2 enhancements and tweaks thread over at the at CA forums as it includes a more accurate loadout.
Oops, the readme says ctrl+9 opens the canopy, it should read shift+9. Sorry !

To Install:
- Put all in main mod folder.

Happy carrier take off / landings!
--------------------------------------------------------
By gentle author's request ArmadaGrey2 skin is erased.
I took (as stated above) the whole plane from Falklands mod without check it.
Deleting that skin I noted an Insignas size/place issue, so I fixed it.
Peace & Love.
@ paulopanz
Just a quick errata sheet for the USMC Skyraider skins I released last month, I just noticed a glaring error, ie I had misnumbered the decals in the decal.ini on 3 of the skins I uploaded that is for VMA212 - 251 - 333 causing the tail numbers to be errr rather truncated on the right side of the fin.....ooops !!
So, here are the 3 corrected decal.ini's for the relevant skins, just rename them ie just delete the names I have put on them for reference, and rename EACH one "Decals" and drop them into the relevant skin folder and allow it to over write the existing decal.ini file if you didnt delete it first of course, oh yes, I had also forgotten to enable the prop decals on those 3 skins so that has been rectified as well.
Totally my bad here, I shall be having strong words with my quality control department , apologies for the error , silly me !!
SF2 A-37B Dragonfly VNAF Skin Pack 12/7/2025
-For SF2 =ONLY= (Any & All, Full 4/5 Merged Recommended)
Designed for SF2:V!!!
What we have here are 2 new skins for Centurion & Co's. A-37B Dragonfly. These 2 skins represent those as used by the Vietnam Air Force (South). These skins were to have been done by Eole, as the fuselage squadron bands were found ready to use on the template included with the aircraft download. Speaking of which, you can find the full aircraft, if you don't have it already, at the following URL:
https://combatace.com/files/file/16196-usaf-a-37b-pack/
The skins herein represent the following VNAF units:
516th FS, VNAF <68 (blue w/white stars fuselage stripe)
524th FS, VNAF <69 (blue w/red & white chevrons fuselage stripe)
The SF2 'date switch is NOT active for these 2 skins. The dates shown are just for historical clarity.
Almost all markings are decals, excepting the aforementioned fuselage ID bands. Both skins use a pool of 24 serial number decals. I was unable to match individual numbers to specific units, but all these serials WERE used by VNAF Dragonflys. Decal Randomization is TRUE. I've also included an updated Userlist and Data inis, adding the missing VNAF, and adjusting the Exported start and end dates. To be safe, you might wish to backup the original Data ini before installing. Just because, even though nothing else has been changed. No sounds, weapons or pilots are included. It uses all from the original package.
As is always recommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions.
Please read the Notes section for other useless information, and (hopefully) full credits.
Please also take note of changes in the Standard Disclaimer in the "Legal BS" section at the bottom.

SF2 C-119 "Flying Boxcar" Moroccan Air Force Skin Pack 9/12/2025
-For SF2 =ONLY= (Full 4/5 Merged Recommended)
A new skin and decal pack for MontyCZ's C-119 'Flying Boxcar" as used by the Moroccan Air Force from the early 1960s through 1980 (ish). SF2 MiG-15bis "Fagot-B" Algerian Air Force Skin Pack by Cliff7600 9/14/2025
-For SF2 =ONLY= (Full 4/5 Merged Recommended)
NOTE:
If you've made it flyable and use the "read only main ini trick", you'll have to turn that off after adding this skin. See "Installation" for more details.
In Cliff7600's own words ..
"I have made a quick skin for a Algerian MiG-15bis at the start of the Algerian air force with the early roundel and fin flash from a picture found on the net.
It's for the Third Wire MiG-15bis.
I've sent it to you and you can use it as you want for the Iberia terrain you released.
You might add the "insignia trick" in the decals ini file because there's no stock insignia or fin flash decal.
The numbers are semi-historical as I took what I found from the thread about the Moroccan and Algerian numbers. I made 12 of them.
It's my contribution lol"
All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. The skin remains in their 'as issued' BMP format (3w Rez)
When on the Loadout Page, you'll see
Algeria 1964
As is always recommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!! With special thanks to Cliff7600 for this nice surprise for MiG Monday!!

SF2 Su-24MK "Fencer-D" Algerian Air Force Skin & Ini Pack 9/1/2025
-For SF2 =ONLY= (Full 4/5 Merged Recommended)
Here is a new(ish) skin, decal and ini set for the Veltro2k's Sukhoi Su-24MK "Fencer-D"", as used by the Algerian Air Force from 1989 thru the late 2020s. If you don't have the aircraft, it can be found at the following URL:
https://combatace.com/files/file/12158-sf2-su-24-fencers/
You MUST have the aircraft installed BEFORE adding this mod, as MANY newly edited/corrected items are included within this package.
All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. The Serial numbers are 100% historically correct for this type of aircraft. You'll have 34 of them (I think that's ALL of them!). The skin is in jpg format (2048x), and is reused (rebadged?) from Slick Cowboys' "Improved Fencer Skins Pack" from 2015.
When on the Loadout Page, you'll see:
274e Escadron d'Attaque (QJJ) <1989
The actual folder name is QJJCamo.
I have included a modified data and loadout ini. The data ini gives the aircraft some "hardening" (via aluminum armor), and the loadout ini adds the drop tank for all missions. I've also included a new pilot figure, "Red7002" and ejection seat (K-36D) from Slick Cowboys' pack. I've included the weapons from the Original 2011 Release (tm) of the Fencer Pack, and made MANY adjustments (See "Notes" below).
The canopy is also reset to manual control and it uses the Standard Animation Keystroke (tm), Shift/0 (zero).
As is always recommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE READ THEM BEFORE INSTALLING!!! Also, the Notes section has more details on the changes.

SF2 MiG-23MF "Flogger-B" Algerian Air Force Skin Pack 8/29/2025
-For SF2 =ONLY= (Full 4/5 Merged Recommended)
Here be 2 new skins and decal sets for the stock 3W MiG-23MF "Flogger-B" as used by the Algerian Air Force from 1980 until it's retirement around 2010. The early skin is a rebadging of the Syrian camo (closest to Real Life), and the later skin is in a 2-tone Sand/Dark Earth by Gerwin. There is an active date switch for the later skin (see below)
If you have made this plane flyable, and use the "read only main ini trick", you'll have to turn that off after adding this skin. See "Installation" for more details.
All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. The Serial numbers are historically correct for this type of aircraft (23MF). You'll have 18 of them. However, while most the numbers are correct, they should be considered Generic in nature, as I could not find which squadron each served in. So, I just assigned it to one that was known to operate this model. On the Number list in, any marked with a star (*) are 100% correct for this aircraft type. Those with no markings, are "best guess" fillers. The same serial number decals are used for both skins.
When on the Loadout Page, you'll see:
For the Early skin:
28e Escadron d'Interception (QJJ)<1980
For the Later skin:
28e Escadron d'Interception (QJJ)<1990
As you can see, there is an active start date (listing in the texture set ini) and will luck it will turn on in 1990. Again, this is a 'best guess' as to when the QJJ went to the 2-tone.
I have included a modified data and loadout ini. The data ini gives the aircraft some "hardening" (via aluminum armor), and the loadout ini adds the drop tank for all missions. All weapons used are stock, in-game items, so no additions are needed. I've also included a new pilot figure, "Red3201". The canopy is also activated, it uses the Standard Animation Keystroke (tm), Shift/0 (zero).
What I have NOT given you, are the bits and bobs necessary to make it Player Flyable (tm). If you haven't done this, you'll have to root around for the needed cockpit in the CA downloads; it's not very hard to find.
As an Extra Added Bonus (tm) just because I like you all, you get not one, not two, but THREE brand new hangar screens!! One is a 'generic' MiG-23, and the other 2 are skin-specific for these new Algerian ones. Instructions are in the "To Install" section down below.
As is always recommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!! Also, the Notes section has more details on the changes.
