A-1H USMC DECAL.ini Corrections
By Trotski
Just a quick errata sheet for the USMC Skyraider skins I released last month, I just noticed a glaring error, ie I had misnumbered the decals in the decal.ini on 3 of the skins I uploaded that is for VMA212 - 251 - 333 causing the tail numbers to be errr rather truncated on the right side of the fin.....ooops !!
So, here are the 3 corrected decal.ini's for the relevant skins, just rename them ie just delete the names I have put on them for reference, and rename EACH one "Decals" and drop them into the relevant skin folder and allow it to over write the existing decal.ini file if you didnt delete it first of course, oh yes, I had also forgotten to enable the prop decals on those 3 skins so that has been rectified as well.
Totally my bad here, I shall be having strong words with my quality control department , apologies for the error , silly me !!

A-1H Skyraider USMC Pack
By Trotski
This is another rework of the available A-1H Skyraider skins, this time for USMC A-1's same details as the previous upload for the USN versions. 3 of which are generic USMC airframes, the bu numbers etc are also generic as not many A1's were in use with the Marines in Vietnam as most of the squadrons had re equipped with A4's by then.
included are
VMA 212 generic
VMA 225
VMA 251 generic
VMA 331
VMA 333
the reworked data.ini to stop the clipping issue
Decals
All the Sounds needed
weapons
Pilot ( a different one from the USN one )
lo res screens if you need them
as with the previous skins I have re-enabled the wingfold system, and the canopy so the usual shift-9 for the wings and shift-0 for the canopy
Enjoy, fly safe, and give 'em hell.

A-1H Skin Pack
By Trotski
This is a rework of the available A-1H Skyraider skins, the project started when I noticed there was a clipping issue on the original user made skins, after the stock aircraft had been made flyable etc. being an OCD sufferer I couldn't live with it, so I had to comb the DATA.INI of the aircraft to find the issue, which I never didi, probably one number out of place , or something of that nature. So I re did the whole data file, using a frankenstien of a couple of the available ones, mainly Wrench's , so worry ye not good campers, very little has been altered, so the A/C still operates as Wrench intended, just NO CLIPPING !!! ................YAY !! RESULT !! HAPPY BLOODY DANCE !! ......
Anyhow, I then went on to re do all the skins, utilising the templates from bot Wrench, and Nyghtfall, so a mix and match of those as well, I hope you like and enjoy the results !!
Included are
VA-35
VA-52 ( two versions, one dirty one clean , the clean one has new decals for the squadron markings made by me )
VA-65 (Early version )
VA-65 ( USS Enterprise )
VA-85
VA-105 ( A really shiny pristine skin )
VA-176 (USS Shangri La )
VA-176 (USS Intrepid)
the reworked data.ini to stop the clipping issue
Decals ( of course....no use without 'em as I have altered theDECAL.INI of all the skins , 'cos I like to make trouble harharhar )
All the Sounds needed
Finally the weapons ie drop tanks and the bog bomb, and the Pilot I myself use for this aircraft, oh yes and all the screens, both in hi res, and lo res if you need lo res screens for any reason.
One final note, on the VA-176 ( Intrepid ) skin, two of the aircraft have kill markings, I have put the entry to enable those in the DECAL.INI of that particular aircraft, however I have them disabled, as in reality the Bu Numbers of the skins and the Actual aircraft are not the same, and I couldnt be bothered to make the correct bu numbers for thos 2 particular aircraft, however if you do not have OCD, and you want the marking showing ( they are keyed to the correct nose numbers ) the just remove the hash marks in the DECAL.INI
[Decal019]
MeshName=Fuselage
DecalLevel=2
DecalFacing=LEFT
//FilenameFormat=A-1H/VA176a/D/kills <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< THAT THERE !!!
Position=-0.70,0.70
Scale=0.55
DecalMaxLOD=3
Thats about it, please enjoy, and please leave feedback if you like...........................cheers !!
OH yes, I forgot one last thing, I have re-enabled the wingfold system, , yes , yes I know its not perfect, as it leaves the stores hanging in a weightless environment, but hey ho, if ya dont like it, eith re disable it or , simply ignore it !! so canopy opens with SHIFT-0 and the wingfold is SHIFT-9.

SF2 A-4 Skyhawk "Southland Scooters" Skin/Decals Pack
By Wrench
SF2 A-4 Skyhawk "Southland Scooters" Skin/Decals Pack 3/2/2018
= For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Prefered) =
*Can be used in any install that has access to the A-4C_65 & A-4F*
2 new skins for a couple of the stock 3W Skyhawks. These represent "local" A-4 units from
Southern California; my home turf! :) They are either Reserve Squadron (VA-305) or a Service,
Support, Training Unit (VC-7).
Also included for the A-4F, are a modified Data and loadout inis, correcting/adding to the
Mission tasking loadouts. Several new parts are included that correct and add the missing outer
Sidewinder rails. Both aircraft get the Player operated manual canopy, and landing light.
The skins included are for:
A-4C_65:
VA-305 "Lobos" based at NAS (now JFB) Los Alamitos *-see notes-*
A-4F:
VC-7 "Tallyhoers" (or Redtails) based at NAS Miramar
Skins are brand new, from Nyghtfall's templates, and are in jpg format. Most markings are
decals, excepting certain squadron tags on the tail fin & rudder (VC-7 and/or fuselage bands
(VA-305). These had to be painted on due to number-of-decals-per-mesh restrictions. All BuNums
are historiclly correct for aircraft used by both squardrons; unfortunately, they could not all
be matched to their corresponding Modex. On the Loadout screen's individual aircraft dropdown
listing, those marked with a star (*) are matched.
Also added, via Magical Ini Dancing (tm) are missile rails for the OUTBOARD pylons on the A-4F,
as is correct for all 5-hardpointed Skyhawks. These are added via the loadout ini through
various jiggery-pokery and at great expense. They are only used in the "Air-to-Air" tasking (and
Recon), and will/do not effect any Strike, CAS, Auntie-Ship or other attack missions.
These modification can also be added, using the same data ini edits, to all the A-4E and later
models. With some luck, they will =NOT= interfere with any of the Skyhawks released by
Nyghtfall. If in doubt, back up your original data and loadout inis before installing.
The canopy uses the Standard Animation Keystroke (tm), Shift/0.
When on the Loadout screen, for skin/squadron selection, on the Dropdown menu you'll see
A-4C_65:
VA-305 Lobos (NAS Los Alamitos 70/71)
A-4F:
VC-7 Redtails (NAS Miramar 1973-80)
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read
them .... Also, DO give the Notes section a read as well, for enlightenments, illuminations, and
general ramblings. With MANY thanks to Nyghtfall for his invaluable assistance!!! :)
Happy Landings!

SF2NA A-6E TRAM "Libyan Intruders"
By Wrench
SF2NA A-6E (TRAM) Intruder, VA-34,VA-55,VA-85 Early Lo-Viz Skin/Decals Pack 2/15/2018
= For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Prefered) =
*Can be used in any install that has access to the A-6E_79 (aka: TRAM)*
3 new skins for the 3W A-6E_79 Intruder that depict the 3 squadrons that participated in the
"Freedom of Navigation" exercises in the Gulf of Sidra during 1986, and subsequent strikes
against various Libyan targets (El Dorado Canyon).
All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. All serial (BuAerNums) are correct as they
are for the A-6E, but should be considered Generic (tm) in nature, not representing specific
aircraft in any particular squadron. In fact, all 3 skins use them as a 'pool' of decals.
The Default Start Date switch is used on this skin, so in 1983, you should see only these. The
skin maps are new; The aircraft is finished in the 2-tone Compass Ghost Grey over Medium Grey
scheme, with subdued markings (black and light grey). The skins are in jpg format.
The aircraft are:
VA-34 Blue Blasters, USS AMERICA
VA-55 Warhorses, USS CORAL SEA
VA-85 Black Falcons, USS SARATOGA
As these are 'stock' squadrons in the 3rd Wire listing, Level=1 decals are used to activate the
squadron name display. This should make it easy for campaign builders to use them in user-made
campaigns or single missions (like on Menrva's new Libyan terrain).
Please note, =NOTHING= is included that makes the aircraft flyable; no inis, cockpit parts (I
use the Razbam payware pit on my A-6E & A-6E TRAMs). You should have made them flyable or need
to seek the "parts" on your own.
Also, if you have made it flyable, and use the "Read Only" trick on the main ini (A-6E_79.ini),
you'll have to un-read only it to add this skin.
While specificly designed for the A-6E_79, this mod =should= be compatible with the A-6 Intruder
MegaPack by Homefries; the skins use unique squadron named folders and should not conflict or
interfere with it (even though said squadrons also exist in his pack, as Level=1 statments,
selectable from the Squadron Dropdown on the Loadout screen). Please note the "1983" start date
is an arbitrary year, based on my research as a "best guess".
On the Loadout Screen, for skin selection you'll see:
VA-34 Blue Blasters (2-Tone 1983)
VA-55 Warhorses (2-Tone 1983)
VA-85 Black Falcons (2-Tone 1983)
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read
them ....
Happy Landings!

Historically speaking, these A-4 squadrons (and/or detachments) were assigned to the Essex class carriers that had been convered to "CVS" or anti-submarine warfare carriers. The Skyhawks embarked were not only tasked with light strike, but Combat Air Patrols to protect the ship and the ASW assets.

A new skin for the A-4E (67) Skyhawk. Also included, are a modified Data and loadout inis, correcting/adding to the Mission tasking, loadouts, Player operated manual canopy, and the landing light. Several new parts are included that correct and add the missing outer Sidewinder rails.
The skin included is for:

Skins remain in their "as issued via 3W" stock bmp format. Most markings are decals, excepting certain squadron tags on the rudder. VA-45's BuNums are historiclly correct; unfortunately, they could not be matched to their corresponding Modex.
Also added, via Magical Ini Dancing (tm) are missile rails for the OUTBOARD pylons, as is correct for all 5-hard-pointed Skyhawks. These are added via the loadout ini through various magical transformations and incantations. They are only used in the "Air-to-Air" tasking (and Recon), and will/do not effect any Strike, CAS, Auntie-Ship or other attack missions.
These modification can also be added, using the same data ini edits, to all the A-4E and later models. A lightened and brightened gunsight tga is also included for those of us with weaker eyes.

SF2 A-6A Intruder, VA-42 & VA-128 Skin/Decals Pack
By Wrench
SF2 A-6A Intruder, VA-42 & VA-128 Skin/Decals Pack 2/12/2018
= For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Prefered) =
*Can be used in any install that has access to the stock 3W A-6A*
2 new skins for the 3W A-6A Intruder that depict VA-42 "Green Pawns" and VA-128 "Golden Intruders". Be advised that these are =NOT= combat squadrons, but the Fleet Replacement Squadrons, responsible for training pilots and bombardier/navigators for all Intruder squadrons. VA-42 recieved the very first Intruder in June, 1963. VA-128 recieved theirs in September, 1967. These 2 squadron represent the East Coast (VA-42, NAS Oceana) and West Coast (VA-128, NAS Whidbey Island) training units.
All markings are decals (excepting squadron color flash on tail fins), almost all made new for this mod (excepting the Pawn on VA-42, reused and modified from the original), and decal randomization is TRUE*.
All serial (BuAerNums) are 100% historical for the A-6A, but should be considered "generic" as they do not depict actual aircraft from this unit. BuNum decalss are the same ones as supplied with another recent upload. Just allow the "Overwrite?" when asked during installing.
The aircraft is finished in the standard Grey/White scheme, with full color markings. The skin is in stock jpg format.
On the Loadout Screen, for skin selection you'll see:
VA-42 Green Pawns (FRS-ATL)
VA-128 Golden Intruders (FRS-PAC)
Please note, =NOTHING= is included that makes the aircraft flyable; no inis, cockpit parts, nothing . You should have made it flyable already or need to seek the "parts" on your own. Also, if you have made it flyable, and use the "Read Only" trick on the main ini (A-6A.ini) to stop reversion to AI-only, you'll have to un-read only it to add this skin.

SF2 A-6A Intruder, VA-95 Skin/Decals Pack 2/6/2018
= For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Prefered) =
*Can be used in any install that has access to the A-6A*
A new skin for the 3W A-6A Intruder that depicts VA-95 "Green Lizards" during 1974-74 embarked aboard USS CORAL SEA during the Vietnam War.
Almost all markings are decals (excepting squadron color flash on tail fin), most made new for this mod, and decal randomization is TRUE*. All serial (BuAerNums) are 100% historical for the A-6A, but should be considered "generic" as they do not depict actual aircraft from this unit. Also, this is the very first CAG skin I've ever done (so be kind).
The aircraft is finished in the standard Grey/White scheme, with full color markings. The skin is in stock jpg format.
On the Loadout Screen, for skin selection you'll see:
VA-95 Green Lizards (73-74)
As the Green Lizards are also a stock squadron, using this skin for campaigns should be a fairly easy edit.
Please note, =NOTHING= is included that makes the aircraft flyable; no inis, cockpit parts, nothing . You should have made it flyable already or need to seek the "parts" on your own. Also, if you have made it flyable, and use the "Read Only" trick on the main ini (A-6A.ini), you'll have to un-read only it to add this skin.

SF2 A-6E Intruder, VA-196 Skin/Decals Pack 2/1/2018
= For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Preferred) =
*Can be used in any install that has access to the A-6E*
A new skin for the 3W A-6E Intruder that depicts VA-196 "Main Battery" during 1980 when embarked aboard USS CORAL SEA (also possibly at Gonzo Station, but I haven't confirmed this).
Almost all markings are decals, most made new for this mod, and decal randomization is TRUE. All serial (BuAerNums) are 100% historical in nature. Unfortunately, I could not match all to their Modex number. On the Number display dropdown, those marked with a star (*) are correctly matched. But all are aircraft that served in VA-196 at one time or another. The Default Start Date switch isused on this skin, so in 1980, you should see only this one. The aircraft is finished in the standard Grey/White scheme, with full color markings. The skin is in jpg format.
On the Loadout Screen, for skin selection you'll see:
VA-196 Main Battery (1980)
Please note, NOTHING is included that makes the aircraft flyable; no inis, cockpit parts (I use the Razbam payware pit on my A-6E & A-6E TRAMs). SF2NA A-6E TRAM VA-176 Skin/Decal Pak

SF2NA A-6E TRAM VA-176 Skin/Decal Pak 1/24/2018
= For SF2NA (Full-5 Merged Prefered) =
* Designed for SF2:NA, but can be used in any install (full 5 merged) that has access to the A-6E TRAM Intruder (aka: A-6E_79) *
This package contains 1 new skin in lo-viz TPS for the A-6E TRAM Intruder, that comes with SF2:NA. This package represents:
VA-176 "Thunderbolts" embarked aboard USS INDEPENDENCE with the 6th Fleet (Med)
The skin maps are in jpg format. Decal randomization has been set to "TRUE". 25 new Modex and serial numbers (BuNums) have been created for this mod. BuNums, while correct for the A-6E, should be considered 'generic' in nature, as they do not represent any specific aircraft within any given squadron. All markings are decals. However, it should be noted nothing to make this AI plane flyable is included. Other mods provide the necessary instructions and "parts".

SF2 F-4B Phantom (Mytai) CVW-9 Skin/Decal Pak
By Wrench
SF2 F-4B Phantom (Mytai) CVW-9 Skin/Decal Pak 12/24/2017
= For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Prefered) and/or SF2:V =
*Can be used in any install that has access to the F-4B & F-4B_67, which is stock in all merged installs, excepting SF2:I (well, actually it's probably there as well!). The 1968 VF-92 & 96 skins are particularly designed for use in SF2:V, as they represent the squadrons during one of their Southeast Asia cruises*
This package contains 3 revamped & updated skins, now for SF2, originally created by Mytai01 in 2005(ish) for SF1. This skins are:
F-4B:
VF-96 Fighting Falcons (1964) embarked aboard USS RANGER
F-4B_67:
VF-92 Silverkings (1968)
VF-96 Fighting Falcons (1968), both embarked aboard USS ENTERPRISE during the Vietnam War
All 3 skins are new builds, from Sundowner's excellent template. The skins are in jpg format. Almost all decals from the original Mytai pack have been reused, with some modifications on the Modex number decals.
Decal randomization has been set to "TRUE". Included are the data and loadout inis for both aircraft, with some small changes in the loadouts. The data inis now incorporate manually operating (meaning: you, the player can now) wingfold and canopy operation. Both use the Standard Animations Keystrokes (tm), Shift/9 for wings and Shift/0 (zero) for the canopy.
Also included, is all of Mytai's original research material that came with the 1stGen Package. This inlcudes photos and other text files.
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them ....

333rd TFS F100A/C/D Skin
By xboxman523
This is a skin for the 333rd TFS, which flew F100s from 1957 to 1960. Drop the the files into your objects folder and enjoy.
This is my first skin. The tail decals are stock while the nose decals were created by me. Feel free to leave a review. I am interested in making more skins for the F-100 so I am curious what everyone thinks of this skin.
Thanks to Thirdwire for creating the stock tail decals.
Enjoy,

SF2 MLD PV-2 Harpoon Skin Set
By Wrench
SF2 MLD PV-2 Harpoon Skin Pack 9/5/2017
= For SF2 (Full 5 Merged RECCOMENDED) =
This package contains a new skin for Veltro2k's Lockheed PV-2 Harpoon naval patrol bomber. This
skin/decal set represents the 18 as used by the Royal Netherlands Naval Air Service
(Marineluchtvaartdienst) or MLD.
The MLD recieved 18 Harpoon in 1950, and were used in the Martime Recon, and Search & Rescue
until their replacement by P2V Neptunes in the early 1960s.
The skin is in jpg format, in overall "Dark Gloss Navy Blue" finish. All markings are decals,
and decal randomization is TRUE. Displayed serial numbers are 100% historically correct for the
aircraft depicted, as used by the MLD.
Also included is the updated (and a backup copy) of the data ini for those that have not updated
their WW2 versions. If you've done so, you need not install these 2 files (they're the same as
in the update pack, so no harm will come if you do).
You will still need the aircraft itself, available at the following URL:
https://combatace.com/files/file/15018-ww2-pto-pv-2-harpoon-package/
As always, unzip this to a temp folder or your desktop, and you'll have access to the rest of
the readme for the install instructions.
*Please note, that even though the aircraft is WW2 vintage, THIS use is Cold War, which is why
it's been placed here*
Happy Landings!

These are relined and repainted skins for Wrench's SF2 Corsairs paks for use in a SF2 Korea War install. This pak contains 5 different Corsair versions and 25 unit skins.
You must have Wrench's sf2_kaw_corsairs file installed for the AU-1 an F4U-5NL. You must have his sf2_kaw-f4u4_corsairs_pak installed for the F4U-4 and F4U-4B. And you must have his sf2_kaw_f4u5-corsair_pak for the F4U-5. His original readme(s) are in the Original Readme's Folder.
The skins are in .jpg format at 2048 x 2048 pixels each.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

and also to Crusader, Mod Mafia Leader (xTMF)
RussoUK for the engine sound, borrowed from the P-47N
Me, for alot of the skins and decals and some ini reworking and assembling the package, and bottle washing.
More Skins by CrazyHorseB34 (thanks man!)."
---
And to Geary - for new lines, rivets, repaints, conversions, ini tweaks, a few decals, adding .50 cal painted gun ports to F4U-4, etc...
But, especially to Wrench for all the work he did in putting the original Corsair paks together.
---------- Installation Instructions --------------------------
You might want to back up your old/original skins and/or weapons in case you don't like these.
INSTALLATION: Unzip to a folder/place of your choice. Copy, Move, Drag-n-Drop or do whatever you wish to get the folders into their corresponding folders in your SF2 Korea install. Overwrite if asked. Fly.
Replace the old/original decals with the ones provided. Most are Wrench's original but some have been changed.
If you don't have the correct weapons, look in the many weapons packs available here at CombatAce.
-----------------------------------------------
I've included a repainted drop tanks to match their aircraft skin color.
-------------------------------------------------

Desert Storm Skins for Dels new C-130
Operation Desert Storm Skin pack for C-130E/H
This set creates skins for Dels new C-130s and incorporates historical nose art for the E model,
and historical serials and unit markings for both models. Due to lack of images, no nose arts are provided
for the H models. It is intended for use in the ODS campaign, or use it on your own.
Included:
C-130E_SKE - ODS skin, several historical nose arts, new hangar and loading screens, minor ini edits
C-130H3 - ODS skin, new hangar and loading screens, minor ini edits
Installation instructions
1st in either event
Get Dels C-130 Pack located here http://combatace.com/files/file/16427-c-130-hercules-superpack/
Normal install
unzip, allow overwrites (should be minimal), go fly
ODS install
go into your aircraft folder and delete the C-130E and C-130H aircraft
you may also want to go into the Decal folder to delete the C-130E and C-130H folders to save space, but it not necessary
unzip, allow overwrites (should be minimal), go fly
THE ABOVE WILL PROVIDE THE BEST RESULTS. THE AIRCRAFT IN THE CURRENT VERSION OF ODS ARE THE OLDER MODELS, THIS IMPORTS THE NEWEST MODELS INTO THE MOD
In Campaign: no edits are needed to put this aircraft into the current ODS or MOAB campaigns. However the old Herks
originally included in the install should be deleted to make it more likely for the new Herks to appear in game. That
and they are the older models with not accurate skin sets anyhow.
