    1. SF2 A-4E(67) VA-192 'Golden Dragons' 1967

      A-4E (67) Skyhawk, VA-192 'Golden Dragons' Vietnam 1967 Skinpack by Nyghtfall v1.1
      =============================================================================

      *** SF2V required for A-4E_67-model, tested in full 5-merged installation ***

The skin represents A-4Es from VA-192 'Golden Dragons' between October 1966 and May 1967 aboard the carrier USS Ticonderoga in Vietnam.
All BuNo are correct for this squadron including Modex.

Some highlights on this skinpack are:
      - new Baseskin with highter resolution (2048x2048)
      - new Decals for nearly everything :)
      - special Decals for the CAG bird (Number x00)
      - updated data.ini is included, which contains the working canopy (SHIFT+0) and landing light (thanks to Wrench).

      Known Issues
      ============
      - not all A-4Es had the Avionics Hump. I'm not sure, but I would think squadrons had a mix of A-4Es with and without hump and as my mainsource had one, it was the way to go.
      - the color-sequence of the cag-bird is open for discussion, you can find 2 versions (tailcolors upside down on the 2nd), i chose the more common

      Installation
      ============
      1. unzip to a temporary folder
      2. copy 'Objects'-folder from the zip to your mods 'Objects'-folder, if asked to overwrite, say 'yes'.
      3. enjoy!

    2. SF2 A-4E(65) VA-93 'Blue Blazers' 1967

      A-4E (65) Skyhawk, VA-93 'Blue Blazers' Vietnam 1967 Skinpack by Nyghtfall v1.1
      ===============================================================================

      *** SF2V required for A-4E_65-model, tested in full 5-merged installation ***

The skin represents A-4Es from VA-93 'Blue Blazers' in the first half of 1967 aboard the carrier USS Hancock in Vietnam.
BuNo are correct for this squadron, but unfortunately I couldn't find the correct assignment for all modex to BuNo.
The following ones are correct and confirmed by pictures or shotdownlists:
      300 (152022), 301 (151049), 302 (151106), 303 (151070), 306 (151038), 310 (151082), 311 (151076), 313 (151105)
All others are filled with BuNo that are correct for the timeframe and squadron, but miss an assignment to a specific modex.
If someone has more information, please contact me for an update.
One rare fact is, that some planes of VA-93 still wore the A-4C marking pattern (Insignia on front, 4-digit BuNo on tail, Navy on airbrakes)
which was changed with the transition from A-4C to A-4E. According to my sources 301, 303 and 313 are confirmed for the old scheme.
      I added 308 and 312 for a good mix.

Some highlights on this skinpack are:
      - new Baseskin with highter resolution (2048x2048)
      - new Decals for nearly everything :)
      - 2 Marking styles (Markings like A-4E for 300-315 except for 301,303,308,312 and 313, which wear the A-4C-scheme)
      - special Decals for the CAG bird (Number x00)
      - updated data.ini is included, which contains the working canopy (SHIFT+0) and landing light (thanks to Wrench).

BuNo and Modex should be correct for this squadron, but I couln't find a complete listing from one source, so I had to combine all available sources.

BuNo are correct for this squadron, but unfortunately I couldn't find the correct assignment for all modex to BuNo.

BuNo and Modex should be correct for this squadron, with 302 and 307 filled with Numbers that are correct for the squadron, but miss the modex.
According to my sources, modexnumbers 300, 308 and 309 are not used, so in this pack you'll find 301-307 and 311-316.

Some highlights on this skinpack are:
      - new Baseskin
      - new Decals for nearly everything :)
      - optional 'Griffin'-Decal as used on planes aboard USS Coral Sea (just change to commented parts at the end of decals.ini, to have it visible)

    6. SF2 A-4E(65) VA-164 'Ghost Riders' 1967

      ======================================================================================

The skin represents A-4Es from VA-164 'Ghost Riders' between June 1967 and January 1968 aboard the carrier USS Oriskany in Vietnam.
All BuNo are correct for this squadron, but unfortunately I couldn't find the correct assignment for all modex to BuNo.

The plane number 406 (152048) is an early version of the well-known "Lady Jessie", named after Jessie Beck, an owner of a casino in Reno, Nevada by Richard Perry. As a young man, he worked in the casino, they befrieded and he later became her pseudo-adopted son, until he was commissioned in 1957. Part of the training took place at Fallon near Reno and she always took good care of him and his comrades with baskets of goodies. Even after R. Perry was assigned to VA-164, she took care of him and the entire squadron by sending care packages. At some point R. Perry painted "Lady Jessie" on one of the squadrons birds as hommage to Jessie Beck. In October 1967 R. Perry was shot down while on a raid over Haiphong, but Lady Jessie continued her care for the squadron and after that date it was common use to apply "Lady Jessie" on the 401 plane until the decommisioning of VA-164.

      The interesting story well-written:

    8. F3H-2 Demon skins

This is an improved skin pack for the F3H-2 Demon. It does not contain the plane.
You need to download it first from the SF1 download section.

What's new? The lines and rivets are redrawn in 2048x2048, as well as most of the squadron specific art and markings.
I also modified the opacity a bit of the decals to make them more blend with the skins.

      Installation:

      1. If you haven't done so, first download and install the F3H-2 Demon add-on aircraft.
      Get it here: http://combatace.com/files/file/5215-f3h-demon

      2. Paste the skin folders from this pack in your Aircraft folder
      Objects/Aircraft/F3H-2

      3. Paste the decals into the Decals folder: Objects/Decals/F3H-2

PS: I also included the templates I made with all the artwork, weathering, etc.
In case anyone would like to create more skins.
In the Demon03 file you need to change the position of the Star and change the light colour to get the Demon04.

Canadair Sabre Mk.6 AMI NM Skinpak 9/21/2014

      = For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Prefered) =

This package is designed for use on the Sabre 6 Pak available at the following URL:

      http://combatace.com/files/file/13497-sf2-canadair-sabre-mk6-rcaf-and-ami/

You'll need to have the above listed aircraft to add this skin pak to.

This package contains 2 new skins, in Natural Metal ™, representing the following units as first delivered to the AMI:

      2 Aerobrigata (8 Gruppo)

      4 Aerobrigata (Cavallino Rampante)

Included are updated texture set inis for the 2 AMI Euro camo skins, adding the "Start Default Date" SF2 switch, that will (hopefully!) turn on the camo skins in 1959 (best guess date). They have also had the "displayed name" changed, so you'll see, for example, either

L'A.M.I. ricevette 78 macchine e le usò operativamente dal 1955 al 1973.

    15. SF2:V USAF A-1H Skyraider, MPPD Skin Remod Pak

SF2:V A-1H Skyraider, MPPD Skin Remod Pak 7/10/2014

= For SF2:V (but can be used in all merged installs) =

*You =must= have SF2:V to have access to the stock 3rd Wire A-1H Skyraider. Please note, the cockpit is NOT included. You'll have to locate and install that yourself*

This pack contains remods of skin/decal sets originally done by Mike "MPPD" Druzolowski for the Razbam A-1H Skyraider, for SFP1.
They have now been adapted for use on the stock 3W SPADs.

Skins included are for the following units:

      1st SOS, 56th SOW
22nd SOS, 56th SOW (Nite unders)
      602nd SOS, 56th SOW

as seen in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam war. All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE.
When necessary, the aircraft has been repainted to match the original releases (ie: 22nd SOS).
I've included MPPD's original readme for historical purposes, as it has interestering information.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!!

    16. SF2 KAW F2H-2 Banshee Tweeks Pak -for Razbam Banshees

SF2 KAW F2H-2 Banshee Tweeks Pak -for Razbam Banshees 7/6/2014

      = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

***PLEASE NOTE!!! You must have the original Razbam Payware Banshee set for all the
necessary items!!! If you can't purchase the item from the Razbam Store, do NOT
download this mod; it will do you NO good. This package =ONLY= includes those items
      modded by me.***

This package contains a few (partly) repainted skin maps for the 4 original skins.
They now carry decals for Modex and BuNums.
These are =ONLY= for the F2H-2, as used in the early 1950s, particually over Korea.
Included are new decals, decal inis, number lists, userlist, etc. The repainted skin maps are:

      Fuselage_t
      Main_t
      Wing2_t

You'll find all these items in their appropriate skin subfolders.

Also, a totaly NEW skin, for VF-172 "Blue Bolts" was created and included. This was
the first unit to take the Banshee into combat in Korea.

Skins remain in bmp format. Decal randomization is TRUE. All aircraft use a "pool" of
BuNum decals. The BuNum decals, when correct for this model, should be considered
'generic' in nature, as they represent ony the aircraft itself, not specific aircraft
in any particular unit. Both USMC units also use a "pool" of Modex numbers.
National insignia, and CVG code letters remain painted on, excepting for those on the
VF-172 skin. All markings on that one, excepting the national insignia, are decals.

A modified data, loadout, and main (F-2H2.ini) are included. A new avionics ini is
included, that activates the range-only gun radar (similiar to F-86E/F models).
Shadows have been turned OFF, due to 'tractor beam' issues. NEW damage tgas are
      supplied as well.
It may be advisable for you to back up ALL the original inis, just for safety's sake.

      When in game, you'll see

      F2H-2 Banshee (Raz)

on the aircraft selection drop down menu.

The aircraft is carrier-capable, with all the SF2NA coding for deck 'parking'.
However, as the wings do NOT fold, you will probably NOT see them parked on the boat.
The Standard Animation Keystroke ™ is used for the canopy (Shift/0).
No weapons, sounds, pilots, etc are included. These are Razbam copyright items, and
are included in his package. Those that have NOT updated their pilot to the SF2
folderized standard, should do so soonest. OTH, the weapons used are readily available
      in the KAW Weapons Pak.
Further work is required by those FM Gurus to bring it all the way home. I've done
      what I can with it.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So,
please read them BEFORE installing (but after unzipping, of course). Also, give the
      "Notes" section a read too.
Full credits are listed in the usual place, down with the "Notes".

      Good Hunting, and Happy Landings!

    17. SF2 A-4E Skyhawk, VMA-211 "Wake Island Avengers" Skin/Decal Pak

      SF2 A-4E Skyhawk, VMA-211 "Wake Island Avengers" Skin/Decal Pak 6/17/2014

      = For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Prefered) =

A new skin for VMA-211; this is inspired by a request by a CombatAce member that used to work for them. Also, it allows us to have a fully updated SF2 version of a skin set originally by Paul "FOTF" Nortness, that now longer works in SF2.

This is for the standard, or garden variety A-4E Skyhawk (no *year" suffix). However, they can be used on the 65, 67 and possibly on the A-4F by renaming the maps to match to lod's naming convention.

All new decals, excepting one left over from the 1stGen skin, were created for this mod. The skin maps themselves are in jpg format.
ALL markings are decals. Decal randomization has been set to "TRUE".
Also included is my modified Loadout ini, that has "increased" striking power for all mission statements. My Data ini is also included, that adds the Landing Light, and opening canopy (Standard Animation Keystroke, Shift/0).

When on the Loadout Screen, in the "Paint Scheme" dropdown, you'll see:

      VMA-211 "Wake Island Avengers" (FOTF)

The Stock 3W skin is still available, but is accessed from the Unit Selection dropdown. This one should not conflict with the stock one. At least it didn't for me during testing.
The (FOTF) is a nod to Paul, as part of the inspiration to rebuild this to the lastest spec (and that I reused on of his decals, albeit slightly modified).

As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them ....

      Happy Landings!

      EDIT:
a small oopsy! I uploaded the wrong zip, that was an earlier test version.
This has been corrected, and the zip contains the correct decals and the repositioned badges.
      My apologies to all.
Unfortunately, you'll have to redown this mod.
When installing, just allow the overwrite

    18. SF2 DLC #19: A-4L Skyhawk Skins/Ini Pak

      SF2 DLC #19: A-4L Skyhawk Skins/Ini Pak 5/29/2014

      = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged, =WITH= DLC #19 (Full-5 Reccomended/Preferred) =

*DLC #19 is REQUIRED for this mod!!*

**Please note, this pack is set up for the 3W A-4L Skyhawk DLC pack #19 ONLY!!! It is NOT be confused or USED with the Crab_02/Column5 mod. If you have the C2/C5 version, You are advised to REMOVE that mod COMPLETLY BEFORE installing this one!! It will cause conflicts, faults and General Mayhem. You have been warned!!!**

This pack contains skins/decals for the following units:

VC-13 "Fighting Saints" as based at NAS/MCAS Miramar
VC-2 "Falcons" as based at NAS Oceana

      Several reworked inis included are:
Data.ini (operable canopy, Standard Keystroke ™, Shift/0, landing light)
      Loadout ini (better offensive loadouts)
main ini (A-4L.ini, with resequenced skin listings - these are now 1 & 2)

All markings, excepting the squadon tail codes and VC-13's hump, are decals. The tail markings for both are painted on the skin. Decal randomization is TRUE, but be advised there's only 7 Modex for VC-2, and 12 for VC-13. This IS historically correct.

When installing, just allow the overwrite of the inis. I've fiddled with the skin listing order, to make them more user friendly. However, if you wish to keep the original order, BACKUP THE MAIN, A-4L.INI -=BEFORE=- INSTALLING THIS MOD!!!

*REMINDER!!! You =MUST= have DLC #19 to access the aircraft and it's other associated files.*

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please -READ- them!! In fact, unzip the archive FIRST, read the instructions, and then install it. Best to be safe, eh?

    21. Historical F-4B/J BuNos

BuNo/ Serial Number mod for Stock F-4B and F-4Js

This is a mod to add historical BuNos to the stock Phantoms. when researching Bunos for other Phantom models, i got the numbers for the
B and J models first then took one hundred that survived to be retired as N or S models and did not crash with fatalities. this mod features the
B and J numbers i started with,as well as the BuNos for the mig killers. I also adjusted data ini for smokier engines.

ALL numbers after 099 are historical MiG killers, with a few that were already in the ones i had previously completed

Installation: open the main folder, then the Stock folder. add the 3 folders inside to the mod folder of your choice, allowing overwrites and merges.
if you have the USN/USMC DLC skinpack (DLC18) then open the DLC folder and follow the same directions above.

Included: over 100 Buno's with 4 digit big and full Buno small for the F-4B and J
adjusted decal ini's for all relevant skins
spillone104s J79 effects and data.ini conversion to put them to use
      loading screens for each type

      ***************IMPORTANT NOTICE******************IMPORTANT NOTICE************************************************************************************
This pack focuses on the gull gray over white and overall gull gray schemes. The Marines gave up the last B's in 1978, and the J's were retired around 1983.
It was the N's and S's that wore most of the camo schemes and so i did not add any other color numbers than black. anyone wanting different colors is welcome
to PM me for a tutorial on how to change decals in GIMP. this is again intended for the stock skins, not a major rework of the skins/decals

    24. SF2 DLC #28: F-104C (66) Starfighter Skins/Ini Pak, Part 2

      SF2 DLC #28: F-104C (66) Starfighter Skins/Ini Pak, Part 2 3/15/2014

      = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged, =WITH= DLC #28 (Full-5 Reccomended/Preferred) =

*DLC #28 is REQUIRED for this mod!!*

Please note, this pack is set up for the F-104C_66 variant from the DLC pak
      (WITH refueling probe) =ONLY=!!!
This pack contains skins/decals for the following units:

435th TFS, 479th TFW, as based at Udorn RTAFB (and attached to 8th TFW)

      Post-Vietnam:
      198th FIS, Pureto Rico ANG

The PRANG skin has a start date of 1969, and will automaticly switch.
All aircraft are in standard SEA camo finish.
All markings are decals, and decal Randomization is TRUE. 100% historical
serial numbers (all 77, new decals) are included. Nose Art decals are included
for the 435th Skin; the aircraft are 'named' in the numbers.lst. The PRANG
skin, which only uses 26 numbers, are in the later (post-10 years operational)
      style.

      The inis included are:
Data.ini (operable canopy, Standard Keystroke, Shift/0)
      Loadout ini
      main ini
Hangar screen (an SF2 revamped version of the 1stGen's F-104G)
      Loadout image (bmp)
Avionics. ini (see "Notes" for more information)
Cockpit.ini, (see "Notes" for more information)
Please note, the cockpit itself is =NOT= included -- you'll have to find the
      F-104G's pit on your own.

When in game, just to be sure, you'll see "F-104C Starfighter (66) (3W)". This
will differentiate it from the 1stGen mods (see below, as an added safety
      precaution).

When installing, just allow the overwrite of the inis. I've fiddled with the
skin listing order, to make them more user friendly. Also included is my
(patent pending) 'One Click Restore Main ini' for when the game engine ™
      rewirtes it.

Also, if you have ANY of the original Ajundair F-104Cs ported over to SF2, you
are ADIVSED to rename ALL the folders (aircraft and decals), back them up or
remove them from your mods folder BEFORE installing this package. There is a
distinct possibility that this mod may merge with them, and really and truely
      foul things up!

*REMINDER!!! You =MUST= have DLC #28 to access the aircraft's LOD.*

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are

    25. SF2 DLC #28: F-104C (61) Starfighter Skins/Ini Pak, Part 1

      SF2 DLC #28: F-104C (61) Starfighter Skins/Ini Pak, Part 1 3/15/2014

      = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged, =WITH= DLC #28 (Full-5 Reccomended/Preferred) =

*DLC #28 is REQUIRED for this mod!!*

The pack contains some remods of Daves skins/decals that were originally seen on Anjundair's F-104C. Now that we have a better model (DLC #28), it behooved me to update it.
Please note, this pack is set up for the F-104C_61 variant from the DLC pak (WITH refueling probe). However, with a simple rename of the skin maps, it can be used on the standard or garden Variety F-104C included in DLC 28. It is NOT for use on the F-104C_66. That will be covered in another mod pak See "Notes" for more information on skin renaming.

This pack contains skins/decals for the following units:

      479th TFW, George AFB:
      434th TFS
      435th TFS
      436th TFS
476th TFS (all in stateside full-color markings)
      and
476th TFS, as seen at Da Nang, RVN in 1964 (called 476_E, with tail TAC Badge)

All aircraft are in 'Natural Metal' finish
All markings are decals, and decal Randomization is TRUE.

      The inis included are:
Data.ini (operable canopy, Standard Keystroke, Shift/0)
      Loadout ini
      main ini
Hangar screen (an SF2 revamped version of the 1stGen's F-104G)
      Loadout image (bmp)
Avionics. ini (with non-historic audio-only RWR)
Cockpit.ini, (with working secondary ADI and oil quantity gauges, ala F-104G)
Please note, the cockpit itself is =NOT= included -- you'll have to find the F-104G's pit on your own.
When in game, just to be sure, you'll see "F-104C Starfighter (61) (3W)". This will differentiate it from the 1stGen mods (see below, as an added safety precaution)
When installing, just allow the overwrite of the inis. I've fiddled with the skin listing order, to make them more user friendly. Also included is my (patent pending) 'One Click Restore Main Ini' for when the game engine ™ rewirtes it.
Also, if you have ANY of the original Ajundair F-104Cs ported over to SF2, you are ADIVSED to rename ALL the folders (aircraft and decals), back them up or remove them from your mods folder BEFORE installing this package. There is a distinct possibility that this mod may merge with them, and really and truely foul things up!

*REMINDER!!! You =MUST= have DLC #28 to access the aircraft's LOD.*

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please -READ- them!!

      Happy Hunting!
