Good to see the Valk still in development.

Well, it's like anything else...the last 10 percent of the stuff remaining takes 90 percent of the time.

FM is at the 'tweak' stage, data.ini entries need refinement, a real skin and decals are needed. It's been slow adding stuff to incorporate an operational version of the B-70 (ECM bumps, operational aux intake doors, ground equipment, reshaped canard, etc). The hardest thing right now is cockpit integration...the F-111 cockpit, though it looks right, is too small, the BUFF cockpit is too big. What it really could use is a B-1 cockpit...the B-70 and B-1 cockpits had very similar layouts and dimensions (makes sense, both were made by North American/Rockwell).

Heh, I wish. Though there is a MAX model of a Bone pit out there. I've played with it.

The problem is the same one I faced when I made the T-38 pit which I later scrapped.

The issue is one of having first hand knowledge of EXACTLY how the cockpit really works...combine that with an obsessive/compulsive personality and you can see the problem.

Sometimes, there is such a thing as having too much knowledge!

On a strike mission in Hanoi, my F-15 got peppered with HMG fire and i lost my left engine, left gear and airbrake. In this state I managed to shoot down a MiG-21 that was chasing me home and successfully land the aircraft at my home base. ..

Was this too close for comfort or what?!! I suppose (in this case anyway) it's just as well the TW proximity fuses don't work as well as they should, eh?! grin.gif
