The second picture is not a Mi-2. Its the PZL W-3 Sokol, which was the successor of the Mi-2.

 

There was a armoured version of the Mi-2 too. It was able to load two 7,62mm machineguns PKT at each side or two Mars-2 (polish UB-16 version) for S-5 57mm unguided rockets or two fuel tanks (the upper picture shows such a tank). An updated version was also able to operate Maljutka ATGMs. But this version had only had the Polish forced, IIRC.

 

Mi-2 at Flugplatzmuseum Cottbus, armed with MARS-2 rocket pod.

this is funny I was just looking at some older books and was thinking that we needed a Mi-2 or Mi-4 . this is great news. thank you. I really look forward to this one.

And thats what im planning. Cover major variants of Hoplite...

and  it has lot of users in central Europe and MidEast also...

2nd Stratos pic is W-3PL Głuszec....- that big bird I think in english is called wood grouse..Anyway..only few W-3 Sokół was rebuild to this standard. Anyway prototype actualy

...But this is different story.

I'm biased on the side of NATO platforms but the more the merrier, and each new one we get, gets better.

awesome to have you back!  would some models from the pm's help at all?  i know its not the max files but most were pretty far along and it would be better than nothing/ locked up elsewhere

 

yes im thinking the Twin Hueys  but im sure im not the only one you PMd.  that way you could maybe see what you can or want to wrap up

Is the Viggen only the attack variant or will we also get to fly the interceptor version as well? Not complaining, just curious.

Actually is on the "To Do" list for this weekend. Needs a new splinter camo and some more details and correct some details, Bur a RL GIS projects is taking more time than expected

awesome!  of course now i see the bulbous cylinders in the back compared with the -46s plainer landing gear sponsoon.  still possiblitlies with the JASDF and Pan Am though

The French "thing" is the Kolko ACA 5, it does not look that bad while on the ground or if the main landing gears were retractable, but on the air...
