well, if we had the max file for the infantry squad out there, i think it would be not much to set up a couple of stations for sitting joes, that sprout up on deployment. getting them back in would be a different story.......

Do we have an infantry squad? I would be happy simply deploying them, but one option is to have them as an animation, you activate the animation, they dissapear (at the same time you deploy a weapon that make appear the squad on the ground). For recovery using same animation will "load" those guys in.

yes we have an infantry squad( Ground Object ), no i'm not sure where its from (the other Kevin could likely answer better).

my thought was the squad sitting, then deploy and they are prone covering the Huey. do it like the paratroopers (which are weapons) with sitting being the loaded on bird lod and prone being the crater (cause thats how cargo objects work)

Jordi, seriously? We've had infantry squads since 2004. All the various country units are just repaints of the original. I want to say Kesselbrut did them, but can't find any of the readmes. Check 1stGen download, if you really want to know

On my reply I was talking about the heli carried infantry squad, like the YAP ones. I have been using the infantry squads for COIN since a long time.

Seeing as the Harrier FA2 was driving me nuts I decided to take a break from it and give this old girl a re vamp, this was the first aircraft I'd skinned from scratch and also the first MF factory bird I worked on. 2006 I think it was. Myself and Oli spent many nights discussing it.

A fair bit of max work needed doing and a lot has been remapped along with bump/spec maps etc.

All markings are currently painted on, I dont have enough information about serials unit codes etc to make up decals so I've just chosen a few pictures from the web for that individual aircraft.

If anybody wants to make decal sets for them let me know.....

<cough> <cough> use mine? they're pretty accurate for the Mk.II & Mk. IV (albeit possibly 'generic' except for those aircraft known)

the overhaul begins.... gotta figure out the limits for things and the  LOD viewer dont work on tgas
