Guest Pfunk Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 No such thing as too many Phantoms. Quote
Viggen Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 (edited) To anyone who's purchased it, does it have the extended nose gear? Edited November 1, 2011 by Viggen Quote
Wilches Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 All of the new DLC planes are redundant. Sounds like it´s made for those who doesn´t know this place and other mods sites! Quote
+sony tuckson Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 why complaining or being rather negative? nobody has to buy those "useless" DLC's if they don't feel like, let those who want them have them. Quote
ndicki Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 So let's hear a review from someone who knows his way around - how does it compare with the existing F-4Ks? I'm still running a number of ex-SFP1 versions as I have the old LODs as well. Quote
+Soulfreak Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 (edited) why complaining or being rather negative? nobody has to buy those "useless" DLC's if they don't feel like, let those who want them have them. My statement wasn´t negative. I won´t get it, cause I´m just not interested in that F-4 version. The DLC aircrafts I´ve got are all pretty cool. Generally I like the idea behind Thirdwire´s DLC add ons. Edited November 1, 2011 by Soulman Quote
+sony tuckson Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 rgr, was not specifically adressed to you, was more a generic comment regarding many posts here and there now, it's a fact, some DLC's ahev already been adressed as freeware earlier, but that's TK's problem....^^ Quote
Wilches Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 why complaining or being rather negative? nobody has to buy those "useless" DLC's if they don't feel like, let those who want them have them. My point is why don´t TW concentrate their power on new planes/cockpits instead the ¨new¨ planes or versions? They´re everything but useless. I would buy some DLC planes like the AD-6 Skyraider (all-blue) for example. There are versions that can be much more explored. Quote
+Soulfreak Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 I would buy some DLC planes like the AD-6 Skyraider (all-blue) for example. There are versions that can be much more explored. Discussed a thousend times with tk. A DLC with a complete new cockpit etc. is to expensive for TK. Quote
+sony tuckson Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Indeed, TK explained this already DLC as done are quick jobs bringing a bit of money, without loosing much time to produce them Quote
Wrench Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 ....cause the AD-6 was only blue for about a year, having the pre-57 skin is kinda wastefull; and there's still the 'not having a stock cockpit issue' (although Dels new pit covers that quite nicely) Quote
Spinners Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Can't get enough of them Phantoms! Amen to that bro'. The Sixties Superfighter always hits the spot. Quote
+daddyairplanes Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 (edited) does it have the RAF skins as well? or only RN? and as far as other planes, again i vote for player flyable F-104Gs. hell make it the focus of the next expansion pack Edited November 2, 2011 by daddyairplanes Quote
Spinners Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 does it have the RAF skins as well? or only RN? It has the same RAF camo skins of the F-4M and it includes markings for No.43 Sqd and No.111 Sqd who did use the FG.1 in real life. Perhaps we'll get the grey schemes in an F-4M_80 DLC... Quote
+daddyairplanes Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Perhaps we'll get the grey schemes in an F-4M_80 DLC... ah dont tease me gotta get my external back so i can work on barley grey again. my install is fairly basic right now. thanks for the info though. Quote
