orsin Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 I know this is probably way too much, but can we possibly have back seat for F4 for the 1st time? 1 Quote
+ravenclaw_007 Posted May 29, 2013 Author Posted May 29, 2013 we could if i have more time but i have to focus on the immediate items , so probably not and if i would make the rear cockpit like i do the front cockpit you would have a real problems to get the thing working in game , the amount of poly´s would be to much i assume but could we get back to the topic , any pictures of the side panels ?????? pleeaase or can some body tell me what panel this is ??? +RAVEN Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Just a guess,is it a DTM, Copied: "Data Transfer Module Receptacle - The DTM is used to enter pre-designed mission information to the aircraft's onboard computers. The DTM cartridge is prepared on mission planning computers during the mission planning phase and should be inserted into this receptacle before the mission." Quote

I don't see anywhere on the panel to accept DTU/DTM's. That's probably just a control panel and the tapes with OFP on them are most likely stored with the LRU box Quote
+ravenclaw_007 Posted June 3, 2013 Author Posted June 3, 2013 i´m searching for that part but i dont find a thing , i have now pictures for the HUD and the main panel but still nothing for the side panels if i´m not finding any picture that show some detail of that part i may just go and make the side panels for normal F-4E i found this one here but unfortunately no textures are assigned to it and the left side panel will be like this here , it is almost the same as the RF-4E layout that i´m using Quote

+Dave Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 It looks like a com/nav panel of some sort. http://www.arcair.com/Gal4/3301-3400/gal3394-F-4E-Greutert/00.shtm Quote
+331Killerbee Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 (edited) Part of the AN/ADD-4/5 IRS System Package for "RF" Phantoms and F-4's that can carry a Recon Pod. The film could be developed in flight and film cassettes could be ejected at low altitude so that ground commanders could get aerial intelligence as rapidly as possible. Backseater has one too in the USAF/USMC RF Phantoms. Phantoms that run "Pods", have just one Panel up front. The Cassettes are High Viz Orange so they can be seen...... 331KillerBee Edited April 12, 2015 by 331Killerbee Quote
+331Killerbee Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 (edited) Looks to Me as the ADD-4. It has the "Stop" which is the "-" Button and the "Record", the ">" Button. On a ADD-5 has the "Hud" or "HDD" which records the Hud View with it's Information.........Check Me, But I'm pretty sure that's it. But it's the Radio UHF or all Phantoms other than that. The Radios changed as time went. I think the last was a updated Rockwell Unit. Doh! Nevermind, You found it up top. Just goes to show You how blind I'm getting..........Also ichin' to play a round of Golf. Edited April 12, 2015 by 331Killerbee Quote
