Thanks to "BongoDriver" for his updated and excellent EF-2000 Typhoon Beta.  Lets hope that he will find the time to finish his typhoon fighter.

I have been trying to finish this project for months and months.  Just do not have the time to work on it on a steady basis.

The entire fleet of all EF-2000 users are mostly complete.  Testing the template, decals, and the stencils...  Seems to be good?  Still has the fake pilot method to work on and test, as well as, the weathering of the fleet.  Of course, the endless tweaks of everything...

Cheers

Sundowner,

No, this is my own templates.  There is a template of the older EF-2000, which is a different model and .LOD.  This is the more detail and complete re-done by BongoDriver's original EF-2000 Typhoon Beta.

I do not know of any templates for his Typhoon Beta, it is not loaded on CA?

Really impressive work, such a plane needed this kind of attention to detail for sure. Keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to seeing the Italian Eurofighter fleet.

Thank you very much guys, appreciated...  All of you guys have contributed much work at CA.  Again, lets hope "BongoDriver" can finish his jet!?  Otherwise it will have added items via fake pilot method...

All operator will be included:

Don't wanna be a rivet counter, but hey....

Is it possible to tone down the panel lines and rivets? They stand out more than any decal and gives

me the idea of a line drawing rather than a skin...
Of course I hope it is just something which is part of the 'two weeks process' which will be taken

care off.

Cheers

When the testing is done, that is when the tone down and the weathering will be added and adjusted.  Everything is just set at 100% for convenience.

Testing the following:

-Pirate

-GPS

-Revised bottom beacon (same setup for GAF, LSK, and AMI)

Disregard the decals, it is not fully done or set properly.  There is a mesh issue on the afte upper rear fuselage, I think we are stuck with that since Bongodriver has not made any updates.

Hats off to all the skill 3d Max users.  I spent hours trying to make the right "fake pilot" parts for this bird.  I am still not satisfied but I think it is pretty good.

Yes, two different Ala 14 emblem.  The serial for Ala 14 will be the new serial system by Eda, example C.16-10002.

Cheers!

About the spanish air force Ala 14 Typhoon:

14328194893_6471d2c231_b.jpg

Just a few comments about the numerals (within my little Knowledge of the Spanish Air Force) , this First Ala's 14 Typhoon [with its numerals] (The one on the pic) has in the tail the code C-16 31 , that means that it really was an Ala's 11 aircraft with the number on fuselage 11-11 , so although It has the Ala 14 markings it was really an ancient Ala's 11 aircraft.

I've read that the spanish air force is having lots of trouble with the Typhoon , that they fly very little and that they have lots of difficulties to operate the aircraft . Futhermore they have reduced the orders from 87 to 73 , and right now there are 15 Typhoons in a warehouse waiting to be paid and they won't be delivered until the cash arrives. And I've also heard that the they are considering to sell the Tranche-1 Aircraft.

Yes, I know about the Ala 11 aircraft being used by Ala 14.  In fact, all new production aircraft has been flown but are mainly kept in flying condition until the Eda decide what to do later (they are meant to be use by Ala 14).  Currently Ala 14 uses "rotational" aircraft from Ala 11 for their usage by Esc 142 of Ala 14.  So, you will continue to see Ala 11's bird being photograph as Ala 14 aircraft...

C.16-31 mean it was the 31st aircraft delivered of the 16th type (Typhoon). 14-01 would mean it belongs to the 14th wing and is numbered as 01, wich means nothing about the order it was delivered or that it it flown by the wing commanding officer. Fighters belong to the Wing proper, instead of a particular Squadron, however in that particular case, there is only an operational Squadron (142nd) in the wing, while pilots undergo training for the type as they may be needed to staff more aircraft, 141st being temporarily deactivated.

However, the EdA is quite happy with them. They may be under scrutiny since a couple of days ago, one Typhoon crashed while landing for unknown or undisclosed reasons, killing the pilot, in fact, the controversy is that they remain too much operational (and, to my surprise, recieved much more A-G capabilities than i had expected.) while neglecting other needs in the Air Force.

Thanks Russouk

I had to redo the "Pirate" (adjust the specular and the glossiness), it was too bright and cover too much of an area from different angles.  I think the new one turn out good, a good match to the aircraft.  Also, did a little panel lines for the Pirate.

The decals for the Eda is pretty set.  Now I can just concentrate on the rest of the skins and the weathering.  Always room for improvements.  Of course, endless tweaks.

Also, the "slimmer" does not work at night.  I assume it is part of the Max files and you cannot make the changes without the files?  Any suggestions from anyone would be great?  How about using the "fake pilot" method?
