+FLOGGER23 Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 A few years back Daniel (Cocas) and i, started this idea, i asked Daniel to make some fake pilot pylons for a cracked plane, and he decided to make a whole new plane. Soon we joined Cliff7600 and Logan4, who provided real valuable assistance for this project. Along with the time and RL, it got stuck, but once restarted, Logan decided to make some few (!) updates and i added a more suitable template, the resul is the one you see, it is in gloss yellow primer until it get some combat skins, we aim to have this baby flying for you as soon as we can, hope you can enjoy this plane and several ideas we have for it very soon. 25 Quote

+Fubar512 Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Nice! Though if at all possible, I would remove the rivets from the skin textures, and add them only to bump-maps (if bump maps are available, that is). Remember, rivets would be painted over in real life, so they would not appear to contrast against the aircraft's outer skin that way. 2 Quote
+FLOGGER23 Posted November 2, 2014 Author Posted November 2, 2014 Yes Ed, i have made 2 rivet layers, the big ones will be noticed, the rest will be very subtle and toned down and it will be bumpmapped too, Blue/Gray and Desert schemes are in queue to be made as well as some other surprises foe special events :D 1 Quote
Viggen Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Great news. Now that the colder weather is setting in, it's flight sim/writing season. And this is a plane I've been looking forward to for a long time. Quote

logan4 Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 (edited) Heading out for weapon load tests. Today's task to check basic strike loads... 2nd prototype already with its future squadron paint job joins in. And unfortunately a nice day gone bad... Edited November 8, 2014 by logan4 10 Quote
+Crusader Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 Much better with some boom on the jet.. hehe. Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Iran were all potential customers.... makes for interesting paint scheme possibilities .. Quote
logan4 Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 You are right, many potentials for this bird. Though we are going to leave some work for our great skining fellas to exploit all of them. We don't want to have all the fun ------------- A month after its maiden flight the trainer version is ready for flights with weapon and harder load ranges. 7 Quote
