Nice finding. :good:

What i really would need is a TOD editor. Tiles alone are only one side of the coin. Without TOD's its worth only the half.

The new London tiles look awesome!

A question for model builders: Is it possible to reduce the size of the Tower of London without the Max file? The current model looks much too large but it's probably the only one available.

Made some new tiles to blend the London Cityporttiles with the generic city tiles.

So it looked  before i made the blending tiles

and so with the blending tiles:

I think this terrain will get me back into SF2-WW2.

Baff, I totally agree with you.  Gepard, this is absolutely awesome work, keep it up - and let me know if I can lend a hand (time permitting).

WIP screenshot:

London Cityport. You see, that the blending tiles south of the port (over the left wing of the plane) are not made yet. (5 or 6 tiles)

When all tiles are made and placed, i will have to make them "older". Modern features, like the runway in London Cityport or modern factories, motorways etc i must overpaint.

Look over London cityport in southern direction.

The generic citytiles, which i made, i dont know. They are looking more like a small town than London.

BTW, could someone make a real He-100D1? I love this bird!

Bear in mind that 1940's London was a LOT smaller than it is now.

Thats true. I will make London a little bit smaller than it was on the old map.

Here a test with a new standard generic city1 tile

What do you think? Should i stay with the old greyish tile or set on the more brick red tile?

Great-looking work, I'm looking forward to it, thanks Gepard.

One small historical note, relating to the River Thames, since this is a WW2 terrain - HMS Belfast was only moored in the Thames, opposite the Tower of London, in 1971. She was not there during WW2.

London tiles mostly reworked with new, more red, tiles.

So it looks now:

There are some tiles to rework, including the tile with the HMS Belfast that still needs to be removed.

Sit rep:

I have started to make new tiles for the river Themse west of Batterypark in London.

The screenshot shows a view from west to east. Batterypark, Hydepark and Tower of London i have marked on screenshot for your better orientation.
