Depending on my motivation, I might finally build an early C-130 cockpit - but no promises.

you know, the community at large might be willing to pay a midget to do whatever depraved act you want crowdfund that right there. the other things are the shiny ones that have your eye,  but even a basic common non glass pit for all the other models would be awesome

Wow Dels, always first class quality work, looks amazing and that is quite a roll-out of goodies!  

I especially love how you have an exceptional ability to manage "polys for performance", and a new high-fidelity cockpit is so welcome and needed, what a great surprise - wonderful update indeed!

being on my 80s ANG kick,  might have to work on some Roman Noses in Euro 1.....

Yes, the templates are all the same with some minor additions. You should be able to drop any 1024x1024 layer into the new templates and go from there.

In the templates, I have removed all the extra layers that create the weathering for the panel lines. But the basic panel lines are all there, you will just need to make the weathering layers.

I have left one complete set in the template so you can see how I have set it up, but they all have this common structure:

6 *Aircraft version* Panels Ripple 85% Blur 1.5 128,85,0 (5% opacity) <- The panels in this layer are brown (RGB 128,85,0)

5 *Aircraft version* Panels Ripple 75% (2% opacity)

4 *Aircraft version* Panels Ripple 35% Blur 1.5 (2% opacity)

3 *Aircraft version* Panels (a) Blur 1.5 (10% opacity) <- The panels in this layer are white

2 *Aircraft version* Panels Blur 0.5 (10% opacity)

1 *Aircraft version* Panels (5% opacity)

For Dark skins layer 1 has 10% opacity, layer 3 has 5% and layer 5 has 10%.
