Thanks GKABS, that worked. I hope they do though, that would be awesome. I enjoyed EF2000 without a stick back then, but it will be cool to redo it with a stick.1 point

you should not. SAM systems are placed by the game automatically based on targets.ini. The Targets.ini file that is placed within the terrain folder contains coordinates that will place the whole SAM system during the game. If terrain.ini contains SAM_launcher, SAM_radar and ewr entries SAMs during the game will be placed properly and will work properly. Placing via the mission editor will cause only frustration.1 point

It's normal, all vanilla terrains of Strike Fighters 2 don't feature target areas for Blue Side SAMs. You need to test the launchers on custom third-party terrains featuring support for Blue Side SAM target areas. The game randomly decides which SAMs to spawn depending on the nations allowed for a terrain, year of the mission, and other factors. Nothing wrong with the mod by @simonmiller416, it should work as intended on some third-party terrains.1 point

View File Mirage F1C-200 (1994-2003) Mirage F1C-200 (1994-2003) This add-on shows the last Mirage F-1C for the French Armée de l'Air. The name F-1C200 comes from the serial numbers beginning from 200. Most of the F1C-200 were converted in F1CT but 12 were not and 11 stayed operational until the very end of service in 2002-2003, those in this mod. F1C-200_94 specifics: Same as F1C-200 plus: Corail gondolas C/F dispensers (P0 station) double wingtips position lights v4.0 22/Aug/2025 Other F1 cockpit updates: Radar scope Cyrano IVM HUD CSF196 Barax/Phimat control panel Corail control panel (with indication of remaining chaffs and flares - for gameplay - not as real F1) Note: Due to a known SF2 bug, external chaffs and flares dispensers cannot be used by AI aircraft. A workaround is to build internal "fake" C/F dispensers, and "empty" external dispensers. The advantage is that AI aircraft have then decoys. The disandvantage is that even if C/F are not loaded by the player, aircraft still have chaffs and flares dispensed from non-existing dispensers ! We have preferred the use of the workaround for the gameplay. Covered units : Escadron de Chasse 3/33 Lorraine. Escadron de Chasse 4/33 Vexin. This addon is and will in all cases remain freeware. Released under CombatAce Fair-Use terms. Enjoy The Mirage F1 Team Submitter ludo.m54 Submitted 10/19/2025 Category Mirage F11 point

Hello @Stary I am very pleasantly surprised to see you here! I am big fan fo your cockpit mods! I would like to ask you to check the mod I worked lot on, related to avionics and cockpit upgrade mod, here is the link: https://combatace.com/files/file/18363-sf2-avionics-community-pack-sf2-acp-beta/ And about the DLL files and ini files; That is noted. I have the plans to go through the viewlist and other ini files. Right now I am digging through the very complicated huge DLL file, known as Aircraft Objects DLL. I am almost done creating the very detailed manuals related to flight model, structural & Damage model, Effects & Light, and Ordinances (weapons + guns + ECM). When I finish working with Aircraft Objects DLL, will move on to the DLL related to what you requested. By the way, I will send you PM soon. Eagle114th1 point

Was testing bits on a forthcoming terrain, and got zapped by something I didn't see. (that splash and oil slick is all that's left of me) Wingman got away. The only that can came to my mind, was a quote from a famous Robert E. Howard short story... "While Grom howled and beat his hairy chest, death came to me in the Valley of the Worm"1 point

Ladies and Gentlemen, On behalf of the entire BMS development team, I am happy to announce that the latest iteration of the Microprose Falcon 4.0 total conversion modification - Falcon BMS 4.38 - is available for you to enjoy RIGHT NOW! DISCLAIMER: This is a complete new install… Do not try to update on top of previous Falcon BMS versions or Falcon 4.0 WARNING: OpenXR toolkit needs to be removed / disabled (non compatible with BMS and discontinued!!!) BMS 4.38 requires a legit installation of a Falcon 4.0 (all older and newer versions are accepted alike, i.e. Microprose, Hasbro, GOG, Steam, Retroism). The check is performed both at setup time and every time you start BMS. If no valid installation is found, BMS will exit with a corresponding error message. For those of you who are new to Falcon and still need a legacy Falcon 4.0 license, you’re lucky, as there are various season sales going on. Steam GOG This mod may not be used for any commercial purposes. Any such use may constitute a violation of the intellectual property of Microprose and the non-commercial Terms and Conditions under which Benchmark Sims make this mod available to you. After the update, when starting BMS, the version string in the BMS UI will now read: FALCON BMS 4.38.0 (X64) BUILD 2960 Be advised that experimental arm64 exe are available! Changelog: https://www.falcon-bms.com/changelogs/falcon-bms-4-38-0/ A big THANK YOU to everyone in the BMS development team, our dedicated beta testers and to the gents from Microprose who made this release possible! VMA-223 Bulldogs, 4/1968 to 10/1968, Chu Lai AB, A-4C VMA-223 Bulldogs, 11/1968 to 1969, Chu Lai AB, A-4E_65 + A-4E_67 and VMA-223 Bulldogs, 1969 to 1/1970, Chu Lai AB, A-4E_67 Planes were retrofitted with avionics hump during this time and the unit flew a mix of both variants until the end of the deployment in 1/1970. They also used a mix of different markings side-by-side: - started with white tailstripes on most planes, later changed to black stripes on most planes - 3 different intake-markings (spike, chevron with "Danger" inside and chevron with "Danger" behind) - started without patch on fuselage on most planes, later added to most planes I added all those features.1 point

Does anyone have a goodsized picture of the Snake on the tail of VA-86 (1965 on USS Independence)? Drawing of VA-86s A-4E, 1967 A small update with some new skins: VA-34 Blue Blasters, 5/1967 - 12/1967, USS Intrepid, A-4C VA-36 Roadrunners, 10/1965 - 6/1966, USS Enterprise, A-4C Squadroncolor on this one is a guess, as I found only 1 color-picture with (the tailstripe not visible). The roadrunner may also be black instead of blue. Nothing for rivetcounters. VA-36 Roadrunners, 6/1968 - 2/1969, USS Intrepid, A-4C VA-23 Black Knights, 3/1965 - 11/1965, USS Midway, A-4E VA-23 Black Knights, 7/1966 - 2/1967, USS Coral Sea, A-4E CAG: Line: Have fun! (82 Skins done, 53 Skins to do)1 point

Thanks for the kind words. Seems like, theres still some interest in those skins. You'll need patience though...as you can see, there's still enough to do. Hangarscreens and stuff like that are also still missing for many skins. Green = Skin ready Dark Green = same Skin for 2 variants needed (for the faulty SF2 upgrade-function in campaigns -> only plane OR skin can be upgraded) Blue = 2 Skins for 1 deployment (gray + camo) Orange = older skin in lower resolution has to be reworked. White = not done yet. Nevertheless, I just found some more skins in a backup: VMA-214 Black Sheep, 6/1965 - 2/1966, Chu Lai AB, A-4C VMA-214 Black Sheep, 3/1966 - 4/1967, Chu Lai AB, A-4C VMA-223 Det. T Bulldogs, 10/1964 - 5/1965, USS Yorktown, A-4C VA-56 Champions, 11/1966 - 7/1967, USS Enterprise, A-4C VA-212 Rampant Raiders, 10/1964 - 5/1965, USS Hancock, A-4E1 point
