  1. there were only 10 Gunvals ever built *, and the USAF sure as hell wouldn't pass them along to some yahoos. Also, they had lots of issues, airframe and weapons wise. . You'd be better off using the Aussie Mk.32. Or maybe surplus de-navalized FJ-3s Also, all the "A" models that survived combat, came back to the States, were sent directly to Air Guard units. Even in a fantasy world, they were never exported (high time, overstressed airframes, old tech). Best to stick with Canadian manufactured "Es" they got exported everywhere (CL-13) Frontline Sabre Dogs also most likely werent be released to export market unitl 1960 (think Japan and Yugoslavia). As it's radar tech timed out (re: obsoleted). Even the JASDF used ex-USAF ones, and were never home-built. Might want to look at 1stGen jets of British (Vampire/Venom/Hunter) and French (Ouragon, Mystre) origins. (*I should know ... I did them)
  2. it really has a LOT of flaws in it ... props are fucked up (fast and slow are not aligned to the axis), some other things I don't remember I'll look it over again, see what I think. below, remember these images are VERY old, dating from 2016. Yeah, that's HOW long this bird has been sitting around
  3. The templates for the Sabres are readily availalbe -- just look for Ravenclaw's F-86 templates. There are no better Why do extra work, when it's already been done for you??
  4. there should be no SAMs or AAA on the The Range. Its just a nice quite, non-threatening environment in which to blow shit up without interuption. However, there should be EWR and maybe a SAM Radar, just to liven things up, and have targets for SEAD practice. (it's been a few years since my last rebuild of it ...)

View File SF2 F-102A (v2k) Skin & Decal Remod Pack SF2 F-102A (v2k) Skin & Decal Remod Pack 6/19/2021 -For SF2 =ONLY= (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended) This package contains all new, corrected decals for Veltro2k's F-102A Delta Dagger. This mod package is designed to be applied to MigBuster's Upgraded Version available at the following URL: https://combatace.com/files/file/9446-f-102a-delta-dagger-veltro2k/ Several of the skins have also recieved replacement skin maps, and the changes are documented in the "Notes" below. These adjusted skins remain in bmp format. Repeat: this is upgrading =ONLY= the skins & replacing decals that came in that package. The units are: 57th FIS (62-73) 317th FIS, AkAC (56-69) 176th FIS WI ANG (66-74) 196th FIS CA ANG (65-74) 431st FIS USAFE (58-64) 460th FIS ADC (58-66) 509th FIS SEA Camo (68<) and a NEW skin 509th FIS (>1968) in ADC grey, as used in PACAF & SEA before the application of the 3 tone camo. The years presented in the above, will also be seen in the game's Loading Screen, on the Skin Selection Drop-Down Menu. Most national insignia are still painted on. All serials & buzz numbers are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. Each skin has 26 serial numbers. With few exceptions, =ALL= serials are historically correct for EACH squadron. If all could not be found, 'generic' serials and buzz numbers are used. These are identified by the star (*) symbol. If it does NOT have star, it is 100% correct. Any squadrons that are listed in the game's SquadronList.ini have had their displayed name activated via my (patent pending) fake "SqTail.tga", and will be visible on the Loadout Screen. Also, due to many having painted on insignia, a hidden "Insignia" decal is used to activate the displayed Nation Name. The SF2 "date switch" is only used on 2 skins; the oldest (317th) with a '1' start date, and the later (509th camo) with a 1968 start date. Any others, which most of them DO fall in-between these two, End Users (tm) will have to select for themselves. As is always recommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!! Happy Landings! 7. Wow! The Range with it's original tileset!!! Haven't seen that in years!!!! (iirc, the TMF Phantoms had a working TISEO in 1stGen games)
  8. in another thread, there was some discussion on decals. you know, you can have quite a bit of fun with them. things that folks never even notice, because they're in plane sight. I do this a LOT. Example below
  9. I don't suppose there's anyway to get it work?? Just curious. one could always "fake it" with a green-tinted LLTV, maybe??
  10. Enoc; so, you're building NEW Flagons, to replace Boopidoos???
  11. I seem to recall mentioning that in the read me for HiANG F-15A skin
  12. aren't those the front window of Archimedes, the air ship from Watchmen??
  13. you'd think TK would at least say something on the 3W discord site. But ????
  14. for SF2, we've had the S-92 for quite a number of years. I'd also recommend looking up the IJAAF's Ki-201 Karyu (sp?) of (almost) WW2
  15. did you create a textureset.ini for new skin???? the game engine will not recognize it without them. also, what format did you save the skin as? bmp? jpg? All stock lods can use both, as the engine (tm) reads those formats. no matter what they say, size really does not matter. we have skins here in 4096x that work just fine.
  16. and don't let them give you a blood transfusion. To answer the actual question: Nope. You dead. Have to start the campaign over with a new pilot. Been that way since Day 1
  17. Russ has a 110 in the works. You'd have to ask him about any expected release date. IIRC, he was also working on a proper He-111H cockpit too.

View File SF2 F-102A (v2k) Greek Air Force Skin Pack SF2 F-102A (v2k) Greek Air Force Skin Pack 6/19/2021 -For SF2 =ONLY= (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended) Two new skins for Veltro's F-102A Delta Dart Interceptor. These represent the Greek Air Force versions from 1968 until their retirement in 1979. The skins are: ADC Grey SEA 3 Tone All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. All 20 Serial numbers are 100% historically correct. The SF2 'date switch' is used to swap from the Grey to 3 Tone in 1974. Also included are: Updated data ini with minor FM adjustements (a backup of the original is also provided for safety's sake) Updated Loadout ini with F-102 specific weapons The F-102 specific weapons themselves (just to be safe!) Updated Userlist with Greece & Turkey added Damage Tgas (finally!) Main ini (F-102A.ini) with the "v2k" tag added to the displayed name. This will differentiate this model from that by Razbam, for those that may have that payware version. This means that you'll see... F-102A Delta Dagger (V2K) on the aircraft selection drop down on the main mission screen. A backup of this ini is also provided. The new ini included here is "clean", with no texture listings. When the game is started, it will automatically re-populate with YOUR skins.
