Tour(s) of Duty: (1.) Operation Iraqi Freedom (September 2006 - March 2007)

Combat Involvement: (1.) Under indirect fire (rocket and artilery fire) on multiple occasions throughout first tour of duty. One specific incident in which a mortar team positioned and aimed a mortar launch tube at my post for direct attack. The mortar missed my position, hitting an A/C unit on a nearby building. No casualties were claimed from this attack. Security Forces members did not return fire due to background interference behind the mortar team (civilian activity and occupied buildings).

Current Status: AGR at March ARB, California.
