One thing, which i had forgotten, when i released Battle of Britain 2 Operation Sealion terrain some years ago, was to make correct TOD files for some farm tiles. That caused trees and buildings at the wrong position. Now i made new TOD files for that farm files and it looks better now. I think i should release a small patch for BoB2 terrain.

Me-109E-8. I dont know why it is called Bf-109 today. During wartime the pilots called it always "Me-109", never Bf-109.

For the Battle of Britain 2 1960th terrain i will make two nations.ini. One for the usual Soviet vs NATO setting and a second one for an UK vs France and allies scenario. I love the blue vs blue or red vs red scenarios. No advantage by superior weapons, only the skill of the pilots decide the outcome of an battle. It can depend on the terrain. If there are only few airfields, then you will see only few enemy fighters. The other thing, if you select in the single mission screen Enemy Air Activity = light, then only few enemy fighters will try to engage you.

When testing the Battle of Britain 2 1960th terrain i had the well known problem of the squadron mass take off, that some older airplane types, like the Hunter, had problems in that kind, that some planes stall and crash. I played a little bit with the missioncontrol.ini and found a solution. [Waypoint] TaxiSpeed=5.14444 TaxiTime=0 TakeOffTime=25 InitialClimbDist=9260 InitialClimbAlt=410 <<<<<<<<<<<<< change to this value. MaxInitialClimbAngle=35 <<<<<<<<<<<< change to this value So the planes, which took off last, came earlier from climb to horizinal flight and lost not so much speed. This avoid stall and crash. For WW2 scenarios, i think InitialClimbAlt=310 or less should do the job. I tested if in a flat terrain. I dont know, wheter it will work for an airfield placed in a hilly or mountain area.

At the moment i'm checking all parking positions in the Battle of Britain 2 - 1960th terrain. Its timeconsuming.

On the other hand, it seems to be, that tehere were different versions of the gunpod. If i look on this photo of a GPU-2A used by an A-4 Skyhawk, then i see no ribs at the end.
