SCW is the Luftwaffe Condor Legion flag from the Flags of the World website Russia vs Ukraine is a mash up of flags from FOTW too Wings Over Timor, DACM and BoB were from pics I found on the net. MTO is from the CFS3 MAW mod and WOI is from the old Janes IAF game! If anyone wants I can upload an icon pack.

Got a new(ish) computer and a 500 gig external HD and this my desktop at the moment. SF stuff is on the right side (naturally). Is 27 installs enough? And yes I know I've not got round to installing FE yet!

Simon, I think it might be to do with you using WOV as your base install as opposed to WOE or WOI etc. WOV has 'Vietnam style' mission profiles, so your defence suppression missions may now be called 'Iron Hand,' and I think also that there are no anti-shipping mission profiles in WOV. I'm at work now so can't check, but try moving the terrain over to one of the other games if you have them. My own Falklands install is based on SFG.

Thanks for posting this Dave. And the best thing is if you have the combo pack installed you only need to run the patch once and it updates each of the seperate installs i.e. not just SF2, but SF2:V, SF2:E and SF2:I also. TK is indeed 'The Man'

I tried that and got no joy, I also extracted the various terrainDATA.ini files but they are exactly the same as Fubar's post above, so there is nothing for me to change. This is a problem I've got with the stock terrains. I haven't got as far as adding any other terrains to my 2nd Gen installs. If this is something I've got to live with then so be it until I upgrade.

I'm getting a weird effect near coastlines and along rivers in all the SF2 games. I'm running the combo pack and these pics are from SF2:Israel, but the same thing happens in the others too. I don't see this when playing the first gen. games, even with the graphics settings exactly the same (customized, based on high settings). My current graphics card is: Accelerator in Use: Mobile Intel® 945GM Express Chipset Family Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm looking at the members' blogs down the right side of the CA forums and I thought that it would be a nice project for me to move my long lost Israeli Air Force thread to one of those. I can then post screenies, file links etc and keep it updated as new mods are released without resurrecting the thread or going to the fuss of setting up a website. If anyone has any WIPs they could let me know and I can then post them. And I could have a link to the blog in my sig. too. But I can't see any buttons for 'start new blog' or something similar either in the blogs section or on my profile pages, unless I'm missing something - which is very possible! So how do I do it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I remember reading somewhere, but I don't remember where, that the best pilots were moved up to the newest planes, so your A-4 pilot could have moved to F-16s. I also know a pilot who served in 1982 who flew A-4s. I spoke to him about his experiences once and seem to remember that he was fairly newly qualified at the time and he said that once he was more experienced he would be moved on to more advanced aircraft. He told me about having to hit targets accurately in urban Beirut with only dumb bombs when the targets (mortars, heavy machine guns, ammo dumps etc) were pretty close to civilian targets such as schools, mosques, churches etc or firendly troops. He said that it was pretty hairy to start with but that they got so proficient that the ground units started to request them specifically rather than wait for an aircraft armed with LGBs or a helicopter gunship with TOWs.
