  1. two boss birds, good pause point for the night.
  2. Pope just about done, got wing king out the way as it was the most challenging (and made me change some stuff up)
  3. you missed one. right there
  4. overall, welcome to a truth of good SF2 modding: its about 75% hunting for pics and information, 15% setting things up/figuring things out to make the mod and about 10% actually making a mod plus or minus about 50% cussing when it doesnt work/when it does work
  5. those snot nosed jockeys....
  6. what he said. that is awesome for those air forces that use the classic USAF camo that is about perfect as is. occasional dark area running up the filet to the tail, sometmes a darker radome (not black, just darker) but otherwise spot on. i hope i know, i've only looked at about a thousand pics to get to 510 serials over the last week. you got anyone in mind to set up further skins? or thinking about releasing this now, temps later for others to work on period?
  7. play with the values in the landing light entry. i've had to do that with some recent projects, but not that skilled to give solid answers other than dont screw with the color seriously though play around with Brightness, LightSrcRange and LightRange on each of the landing gear lights. if you have any left and right ones that is actually great. play with left then compare with right (provided you dial them down from super bright) make sure your positions are lined up good too, sometime they can be off on non stock planes
  8. looks much better than the one i'm working with. suspect its much newer too skin temps wouldnt be a problem for me, as the bulk of markings for me would be tga (still some variation amongst the squadrons birds, esp wing kings) time neither, as im going to do about a dozen C model skins first. just wrapped up serial number hunting today on all units/years for this project. D models are.... interesting when you track down their history. longest at a unit was about five years that i recall seeing, although 11 months is more common. they got shifted, ALOT finally, not a Viper expert but the Block 40s had chin stations originally for the LANTIRN pods. dont know if you dont have them available on yours or they are just not pictured
  9. F-16D Block 40 in USAF service to be very specific. looking at 74th Fighter Squadron in 1994 and Arizona ANG (which hosts the Air Guards Viper School and so has more than one or two on hand) but went back and looked closer at the Poland F-16D. antennea removing trick works quite will on this (no gaping holes when its removed) skin could use some love, but hey, why would you think im asking? edit: if you got something ready to go it would be appreciated. the C models are using the Block 30 and 40s as used in the ODS release, but this model is going to need alotta love before releasing. and for probably 4 skins with 6 serials apiece The C models had much more planned.....
  10. like it says. theres a Block 40 in the SF1 section from serverandenforcer (another name from the old days) but not much else in teh TW download section period. would have thought it was in the Team Viper packs, but no joy so far not, repeat NOT looking at Block 50s.... scratch that last, the old one on Gen 1 is with the spine... not the droid im looking for either
  11. its cool i wasnt talking completion date certain pic made me think of these
  12. read Wilches comment, then looked at the progress last pic definatly gives a "SUNDAY! SUN-DAY! SUN--DAAAY!" vibe
  13. just a simple shot taken on my new(ish) school laptop, in Win11
  14. Dude, those are wicked. I especially like how youre keeping it to historical Mud Hen users so far (would that make a F-16E an "Dirty Bird"?) mandatory screenshots from down under
  15. might want to double check through his ship releases. i knew there were some extras in the andrea doria release, but it turned out to be a Sea Cougar and Black Hawk. not to say there isnt more in other releases
  16. he's having to take a break for now. i have a few wishes too, but health is abit more important
  17. 29 April 1975: VNAF C-130A takes off from Tan Son Nhut with 452 pax bound for Thailand

  19. off topic, whats on the ramp?
  20. wheres the aircraft from, and you got templates for the skin? i have an idea...
  21. or maybe a low speed, low altitude aircraft, with the hydrofoils as a fixed landing gear. make the max speed 2-3 knots over takeoff speed and in theory you dont have a gunboat cruising at 5000 ft agl but keeping it from flying away could be tricky, and it would jack up use of the guns for surface engagement iirc still, its a thought
