  1. so to add (since i couldnt find this in here earlier) you can also set default start dates for the loadouts. say for when different weapons were used. example below Strike<-------------------------------------------------------------- original Loadout[01].WeaponType=Mk15 Loadout[01].Quantity=1 Strike_61 <-------------------------------------------------------------- original StartDefaultDate=1961 <----------------------------------------- the first line in red sets the starting date DefaultFor=STRIKE <--------------------------------------------- the second line in red will make this loadout the default for what ever stock mission you need. in this case STRIKE Loadout[01].WeaponType=MK39_3M Loadout[01].Quantity=1 also remember to add square brackets to your mission types, Strike and Strike_61 in this example. adding in the post seems to strike out the text after adding like so
  2. thank you. that post did point me back out to the exact phrasing i need. you know i thought i had done that. but looked up my copy (G_89), not the one in ODS (G_90). just getting older and have a bit on plate is all and i know about the search bar. i've ignored it for years . but seriously, did look in knowledge base and a couple mods i thought had it before posting. knowledge base doesnt have this entry, will see if i can get it added
  3. ok, so i know you can create seperate entries to represent different years like Strike_61 vs but can we put a default start date in like with the skins. something that might look like Strike Loadout[01].WeaponType=MK15 Loadout[01].Quantity=1 [Strike_61] SetDefaultStartDate=1961<--------------------------------------- this or something similar Loadout[01].WeaponType=MK39_3M Loadout[01].Quantity=1 am i in the right ball park, or thinking of something left field enough to not work?
  4. yes. options and version ini's stay in a mod folder within the SavedGames/Thirdwire folder. in the options ini, type in the file path you want the actual mods to go to. do not put the above mentioned ini's in the folder that you actually keep the mods in
  5. ok everyone, i have spoken with Ravenclaw on 2000lb AN-M66's. no joy there for now, is there anything else newer out there (would hope there is since we do have multiple WW2 bombers on hand)

  8. we have the 500 lb (AN-M64), 1000 lb (AN-M65) and 2000 lb (AN-M66) bombs in Gunnys weapons pack do we have any newer ones, and do we have a 4000 lb bomb (AN-M56)?

  13. i came in a little before the 10 year mark, but after Biohazard days. Came for some F-4 mods, stuck around and became a dress maker for the big birds happy 20th CombatAce, hoping theres many more to come
  14. new year, new boom huge public thanks to GKABS for the new Mk39 and Mk15 models. the ones we have in house currently were based on some old side view drawings that werent too accurate to begin with. not to mention the Mk39 now has a stabilizing chute
  15. count another vote for China/Vietnam. it would be really interesting to see say MiG-21s escorting A-37s although who would be red and who would be blue?
  16. iirc, the rockets on the F-86D were treated like a 24-shot gun would it be possible to go the opposite, and treat the howitzer like a smaller reloadable FROG? or better still a BM-13 that fires from one point? something to throw out there

  19. yeah i was thinking of that already, as well as adding some rwr antennea on the rear fuselage or my classic solution of decaling, which then only involves one file and about 20 init edits. havne made my mind up yet plugging through serials right now. its not hard this time, but 3 serial markings times 18 serials a skin times 28 skins....... well i'm over halfway now anyhow but was noted, thank you for what was a reminder
  20. in that pic, life is good..... but yes it could be better and in a shameless plug, someone needs to get the KC-135 skinpack number 2. proper SAC/Wing badges and no tail checkerboard like it was back then.......
  21. slithgt break from skinning, doing some ini adjustments the Echo model now has water injection
  22. i believe it has been tested on light CAS birds (like the A-29) would not do well for fast jet combat, limited size of missile equals limited rocket burn time and limited range/ manuvering to engage other fast jet. too small warhead against most bombers too buuuttt.... on those light CAS birds it would do well against other similar aircraft, helos and for light intercepts (Cessnas, Beech etc)
  23. doing light work, and thought these moon light shots looked pretty cool
  24. over all this mod is simpler than most i do. but involves alot more recreation of older insignia
