  1. On the announcements also depends on how often you work a particulsr install, i've been working two installs specific to naval Phantoms so not so much. But i go onto my SF2E or regular SF2 install and ..... NEW DLC CONTENT AVAILABLE!!! Ugh.....
  2. just put screenies to abunch of mine. funny how they disappear off of your own files list while waiting for approval. waiting on two of my files due to impending upgrades to the files themselves not just new screenies
  3. I hadn't heard anything of the sort, but by your reputation wouldn't believe you to do anything like that. I fell victim to the whole too many downloads in a day bit, tho compared to any other FREE site, his conditions are ridiculous. Can the NSA start checking DAT out?
  4. training.......
  5. if you're doing a historical, google a bunch of images. i'm about to do that for Naval reserve F-4Ns. do one search specific and one broad (QF-4B "such and such unit" and QF-4B or "such and such unit) you'll be suprised. to match colors i use the color picker then shift RGB values around abit til i like the match. as for tank templates i dont remember there being any. i just blanked the color and left the lines (more of a pain than it sounds) but never was smart enough to keep the psd's for that. that or just color swap the areas that need it. not the exact info you want but hopefully helpful
  6. Thought EricJ had a desert scheme with a similar pattern. Don't remember if it was TW though....
  7. Agree with hrc, the albanian side loves the west (or at least did in 2000). The serbian side not soo much. I was deployed to Camp Bondsteel but still got to interact with the locals alot more than in Iraq or Afghanistan. By your pic could i assume the same location for you?
  8. here is F-4N templates. based on the B so should work with renaming. just get rid of the dark rectangle on the _1 JPEG as that is specifically for the N's DECM. unless you are workin on some N's. in that case i am working on 1977 and later. Sundowners templates, my minor tweeks for a N. enjoy. and the ini's are part of me organizing my project. use if you want or use your own. edit: removed file.
  9. last cruise for the Rosie....... would any shipbuilders be so kind as to arrange for some Midways? Roosevelt was CV-42.....
  10. yes they do. makes me wish i still did plastic kits.......
  11. awesome pics! thank you for sharing!
  12. more progress. also have Cowboys, but that does look alot like stock
  13. Weren't you listening every Friday at COB when it was mentioned to wrap it up? Makes for less support payments! Back on topic got two HD's with the orig instal files for Sf2E 2009, each other part as i got it and the patches. Plus backup for the mod folders, tho that gets fun deleting old copies of mods as they are updated. Finally got smart and have started to backup the mods i'm workin on every couple of days. Soooooo...... its not PT or die..... its backup or die!!!
  14. you guys know when Erik does get the DL section fixed, we are going to break it again with a mass of uploads mandatory screenie.... name that squadron
  15. nothing personal against Marines. 1. i'm Army so just a little institutional pride there 2. barring that go the easy life and be surrounded by planes every day! (sorry here comes the gripes from the AF'ers bout the easy life.....)
  16. not at the moment Geary. me thinks its one of those "those that don't have it want it" buuuut the old heads that are best at working max have it from the early YAP days and haven't gone to make it. nobody likes reinventing the wheel and alot of the best inventors have that wheel. its defineately on my to do list when i can afford Max2009, if someone hasn't finished one by then.
  17. good luck. and if you aren't Army, then defineatley go Air Force. but not the Marines!!! (j/k, good luck whichever branch you join)
  18. i know i know. anyone who knows me know i love biting pieces bigger than i can chew, then still managing to wolf the whole thing down. check yer PM Crazyhorse, got a question bout rocket pods.
  19. nah the pot makes em creative. just see how many things they can make a bong out of!
  20. Now do it drinking a glass of water
  21. no breadfish with laserbeams. lethal and comes in many varieties.
  22. Wrench this will work on Storms as well. just rename the bitmaps to B_67_x, or even easier add the ini's to a stock B_67 USN Grey. to all i hate it when you guys subliminally make me think of a way to do something better, but that requires me to rework the whole bit! thought on it some last night and realized i would save on number of decals to do unit specific skins for the Marines. only changed every few years or for carrier deployments. the Navy on the other hand changed damn near every year, esp. PACFLT!!!!!!!! same decal folder layout, just different layout for the USMC and how many N_xx's i make. me thinks STORMs will just have a few Grey folders and skin specific for the carrier deps, as they were the most signifigant action the N took part in (aside from the Red Lightning campaing off of Iceland! ) after may patch there has been..... funniness with the skins in that one and dont want to go to July yet.
  23. first method is.........don't. bastards are lethal with that tail cannon. however if you must, try to come in from the sides where they have a harder time tracking you. walk rounds along the wingspan or try to take off his tail. and tho it will throw your accuracy off, keep jinking that bird!
  24. ok heres the last of what i'll mess with for now. not even enough to call it a beta, but it gets ya some skins and the rest of you a peek at what im workin with. full set for VMFA-531 and 323, also a low viz Tarsiers decal set in the mix as well. the serials (Numbers folder) are about locked in tho for the N release. hope you like it. Ghost, you are specifically set up on here for USMC Cardep and USMC Grey79. the rest is pretty much sneak peak, and works with the DLC N.
