  1. Haha - Had no idea there was a next Karate Kid film !!
  2. Is this the combo pack - or did you merge the games separately - if so what order?
  3. Well wouldnt say I was an avid gamer - Last game I bought from a shop (PC world) - well that was Strike Fighters Project 1 back in 2002 - has all been online since then. I remember spending ages as a kid looking at games that I couldnt afford in shops - not that nostalgic really - its miles better getting them off the web IMO. We dont get printed manuals nowadays - which is fine so long as the extra money is put into the game - but hey at least the graphics are better.
  4. If unlimited ammo is not checked then thats all you need to do. What part of the game are you playing? are you doing training missions(these have set weaponry), dogfights (you can choose in the startup screen), Instant action (Always has unlimited weapons) - or campaign (erm practise a bit first)
  5. When I first saw Iron Eagle I was too young to notice or understand most of the mistakes which is one reason why I probably enjoyed it - that is it convinced me that that sort of thing could happen in real life which is what fires imagination in youngsters. With Iron Eagle 2 - apart from the opening scene and being a bit older I thought it was pretty lame - every boy knew what a MiG-29 looked like, the actors were pathetic - and the tom cruise wanna be couldnt even make it with that Russian bird!! So to answer your question - it pretty clear that if I notice too many things blatently wrong in a film that's supposed to present a serious realism then of course that spoils things - and can destroy the illusion you are supposed to be in at the cinema.
  6. Ahh it seems that I think like Hitler - whatever next
  7. haha I really don't need something that small and limited - has no use to me what so ever home or at work - Already have things of similar size, with built in keyboards that run any real OS and do anything for testing. Bad enough cleaning fingerprints off non touchscreens - and tbh a mouse pointer is a damn sight more accurate than my clumsy fingers will ever be
  8. A lot of the jets have been converted to SF2 by many people already -not sure how many are left - they are in the SF2 download section. To convert one over there are a few guides in the SF2 knowledgebase as link above
  9. Are there any you can take off AND land on yet - or is it a case of removing some of the deck models?
  10. The Russians could make a lot of money from this - selling to other countries - so I dont see funding being an issue - and I know the SU-35 is based on a tried and tested airframe - but I cant see any way the Russian AF wont get as many of these babies as they can - and then use the SU-35s for target practise. Didn't think I would ever see it - but its a great looking bird - and surprised to see its video on the BBC first this morning.
  11. wow - keeping balance on those things must be difficult enough!
  12. No you cant merge things back into the cat files really - they just need to go in the right folder - see if this is any help: http://forum.combatace.com/topic/44025-converting-ground-objects-for-use-in-sf2-by-migbuster/
  13. Section 11 http://forum.combatace.com/topic/44026-converting-older-planes-to-work-in-sf2-a-basic-guide-by-migbuster/ and here http://forum.combatace.com/topic/44441-making-a-custom-tga-for-tews-radar-warning-recievers/
  14. flippin ell nearly 20 years ago - whod have thought - still think of it as being very recent!
  15. If the other posts in this thread dont help - then this should: http://forum.combatace.com/forum/189-adding-weapons/ firing radar guided - hasnt changed much from here http://www.simhq.com/_air/air_061a.html
  16. Not sure where the game works that out from tbh - probably internal - but may take a value from the data.ini possibly - unless someone knows may be one for 3rdwire Also depends on what type of speed its being represented as and the altitude at the wp - would probably be either IAS or TAS at a guess.
  17. Diego - a few good points there - although in regards to TK going on forums, that kinda stopped after the mauling he received at simhq - and I defo wouldnt say it was all constructive critisism either. Dogzero - I dont see any particularly negative comments - are they negative because they dont conform to your opinions? Ask all the questions you like - but no point moaning about his response if you word your questions like this: quote 1 " its a request as to why you didnt implement something that obviously worked during beta stages or you would not have put it in the instruction manual and key card" Here you are implying something that "obviously" was there when in fact it may never have been - either way you dont know. Quote 2 "Can you tell me (us) why the F12 action view was never implemented?" Demanding things like that wont work with him - you cant just call his line manager. Its probably bottom of the queue now! TKs a sensitive soul - and stubborn.
  18. Looks like a fantastic new skin on the Jag there?
  19. You need to put the pics URL into the image attachment tags [img= http://address of pic ]
  20. This feature might never have been in the game - when the game was ready to be published a list of key codes he hoped he could get in the game was sent probably at some deadline that included that and other things - for example the braking chute key - but there are no 3D chute models even in the game. If it was taken out during a beta version then it was causing problems with other things that couldn't be fixed at the time - and was left as non essential. Looking back at SFP1 - and the many things wrong with it - I'm pretty glad the main things have been dealt with, stability, AI, bouncing planes , etc etc.... At the moment I would hope his priorities are bug fixes in the engine, and producing a new game, which is the only chance of new features, and getting good non stutter performance out of multi core CPUs which have now been around years. TK really needs to hire a team of programmers to help him - but this could bring in other problems - not least having to pay them all - and could still take years to see any progress. If I was him I would reduce non essential patches to one every 2 years or during a new game release, and waste less time answering the same question over again on the forums! Anyone expecting some kind professional customer service from a programmer is dreaming - of course you can always buy something else - theres plenty to choose from Maybe you can all get Ace Combat 6 and talk to their call centre in India about implementing realistic flight models.
  21. Work on the dance moves and they could win X Factor no probs
  22. Nice - theres a screenshot thread at the top of this forum
  23. Hello Paul welcome to CA and enjoy your stay
  24. No you cant communicate with the tower - Thirdwire probably didnt implement everything they wanted to
  25. Is that with any jet? - what radar? try remapping the key or testing your home key.
