well, this is a scooter, not a phantom :) you just don't have enough thrust, to fight with your bombload still on the plane. you can try, but your plane looses lots of speed while turning and doesn't climb well. So your enemy has a bigger advancement and you have a lesser chance to survive. Just try to kill some S-60 AAA with guns and a full bombload on the plane and you can pretty well see, how different the planes responses.

on all 4 engines.

Did some flying today again and made good progress. Several Warehouses, a fuel tank, an ammo bunker and a good amount of AAA was detroyed by the Silver Foxes with the sad loss of another Pilot. Enemy defense was heavy as ususal and I got hit and lost my right elevator and the right speed brake, but I made a safe return to the carrier. On the way to a fuel tank deep within enemy's land I got hit again by AAA. Although I ejected successfully a safe reovery wasn't possible, so I was declared MIA. DID is a nice idea...you focus more on stayling alive and return healthy to the carrier instead of attacking the last AA, because you still have 10 cannonrounds left. :)

I can totally understand you...I regularly hit the wrong buttons and distort everything...or create new windows and cannot get rid of them. Blender's handling concept appears to me very questionable. I never had a windows-program before, where you had to forget everything you know about software...hotkeys and shortcuts that work in most windows-programs....they do not here...in fact they are sometimes even switched in functionality over windows. I read somewhere that you have to take your time to learn it and once you know what you're doing, everything gets clear. I still want to believe the guy that wrote that. ;) But still...the results can be used in SF2.somehow...and that is what counts. :)

Test successful! Russouk2004 gave it a shot and converted it. And it's working quite nicely. So for 3D-Beginners without MAX like me its a chance to get into this, learn something while creating fakepilot-objects that are maybe useful to other people. Thanks mate! I guess, what he meant was only 1 blank skin is needed for that plane...except the tip-tanks, because the tip-tanks-paintjob seems to vary often (at least a quick google-search showed that). If my guess is wrong, just forget what I wrote here :P

Green / gray with gray bottom and inverse markings. - H&MS-32, MCAS Cherry Point, 1985 Planespecific skins for the droptanks are provided (stock A-4 tanks), aswell as a new skin for the stock Mk.20 Rockeye II CBU. Optional: As there's no dedicated OA-4M-Cockpit available, the Pack contains 2 options here: * KfirC1_77 cockpit by default, from dtmdragons A-4M-pack as stand-in. It "feels" better than the big and roomy A-7-Cockpit from the original OA-4M-pack. I also made refinements over dtmdragons version to bring it more towards a modern Skyhawk-Cockpit. Landing Gear-, Arrestor Hook Lever and Rudder pedals are working now, I rearranged and reskinned the weaponspanel, to get rid of the hebrew stencils and Kfirs additional weaponsstations and I removed some instruments, that are useless here (Nozzle- and Shockcone Position). * A-4F_74 cockpit, which is slightly modified by me. It now has a HUD and the Radarscreen is used for the ARBS. Although it was not actually installed in real planes, it is added for playability. Also the HUD is rather small, but works. Included are Hangar- and Loadingscreens in 1920x1080 by default and 1024x768 as option. Just open the planes ini-files and you see what you have to change. There's a readme included. Sorry for reviving that old thread, but my question is somewhat related I guess. I have separated a weapons station in a bomb-only-part (StationID=1, Group=1) and a missile-only-part (StationID=2, Group=1) and my cockpit has "ARM"-lights for each station. My problem now is, that I have to use 1 "ARM"-light for both separated stations (as both still refer to the same pylon). I tried it with no luck. Is there anything I missed or that I can do about it? Cockpit is a stock one, so not available for 3D-work.
