    1. TSF J 35 Draken Flygvapnet Package

The Scandinavian Front J 35 Draken Flygvapnet Package
      By Team TSF & Friends

The Saab 35 Draken (English: "Kite") was a Swedish fighter aircraft manufactured by Saab between 1955 and 1974. The Draken was built to replace the Saab J 29 Tunnan and, later, the fighter variant (J 32B) of the Saab 32 Lansen. The indigenous J 35 was an effective supersonic Cold War fighter that was also successfully exported to Austria, Denmark and Finland.

      Please note:
We lack a proper "Early" Draken Model, and as such, the A/B versions are incorrect and use the same 3D Model as the 35D/F/J versions.

If you already have the TSF Mega Package, you will only find minor edits, weapons as well as the J 35J to be new to this package. Hence, it is worth grabbing.

Background on the Rivet Haste project:

With the soft (slatted) wing, the pinkie switch (basically the very first HOTAS), and the TISEO modifications for the F-4E, the USAF realized it had the tools to make its fighter pilots more lethal. In the late summer of 1972, the Rivet Haste program was established. Rivet Haste would be the Air Force's acknowledgement that years of substandard training and poor doctrine had to be reversed. Rivet Haste combined the slatted wing, TISEO, and 556 mod of the F-4E and teamed them up with handpicked crews with combat experience over Vietnam. They were assembled at Nellis AFB and here the key of Rivet Haste would take place- intensive training with the new F-4Es against the secret MiG force that Air Force flew out of Tonopah north of Las Vegas. Each Rivet Haste crew were paired up to stay together through training to deployment for combat- this allowed the pilot and his WSO to develop their own system of coordination in the cockpit and carry that to combat. Six pilots and six WSOs were in each Rivet Haste group and each pilot/WSO would fly at least three missions against the MiGs at Tonopah. Each month, a new group of six pilots and six WSOs were assigned to Rivet Haste. Crews assigned to Rivet Haste saw it as a quantum leap in air combat training that the USAF had never had before. Unfortunately they arrived in Vietnam to late to score any air-to air-kills and only flew a handful of Linebacker II missions before the end of the war.

    3. SF2 Lockheed F-80C/RF-80C/T-33A Shooting Stars Pak by ErikGen

SF2 Lockheed F-80C/RF-80C/T-33A Shooting Stars Pak by ErikGen (Ver.2)

      = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

Ammended: 36th FBS skin now has the correct national markings!

This package contains 3 completly new aircraft for SF2. As there are some 1stGen versions available, you'll most likely want to delete the old Pasko versions, if you have them, from your SF2 installs.
*Note: as these aircraft were built with the latest 3W exporter, they will most likely =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen Installs*

      Aircraft included, and skins are:

      F-80C:
      35th FBS, 8th FBG
      36th FBS, 8th FBG
      80th FBS, 8th FBG - Korea, 1950/51ish
'Generic' USAF (represents 416th FG circa 1948*)

      RF-80C:
      45th TRS, Korea

      T-33A:
      'Generic' USAF
Football City AF (a 'What If' skin for fans of "The Wingman" series*)

While designed with the Korean War in mind, they are easily used in any 'early jet' scenario.
All skins are in DDS format. Decal randomization is set to TRUE for all skins. The 8th FBGs 3 squadrons have 95% historicaly accurate serial numbers. The 416th skin has 'semi-hisorical' serials (meaning they ARE for F-80Cs), and all the nose arts from the original release for Pasko's F-80C. The RF-80 and T-33 have 'generic' serials, but reflect actual aircraft, though no squadron affiliation was discoverable.

Drop tanks for all are 'built in' to the aircraft lod; weapons data inis included, as are the pilot figures and seat. Bombs and rockets are NOT included; they're in the GunnyPak, and the soon-to-be-released KAW Weapons pak.

The canopy for all is controlled via the standard Animations Keystroke ™, Shift/0

    4. Lockheed S-3B Viking by FoxMontor

      Lockheed S-3B Viking by FoxMonter
      = For SF2, Any and All =

This is the (hopefully) full, compiled package of FoxMonter' S-3B "Viking" Sea Control Aircraft, upgraded/updated/fiddled-to-fit the SF2 series. I've assembled all the skin/decal sets I could find into one big lump.

Skins included in the pak are:

      VS-21 Fighting Redtails +
      VS-27 Sea Wolves *
      VS-29 Dragonfires +
      VS-30 Diamondcutters +
      VS-30DS (Desert Storm) ?
      VS-32 Maulers ?
      VS-33 Screwbirds +
      VS-33lo Screwbirds (Lo-Viz) +
      VS-35 Blue Wolves *
      VS-38 Red Griffins +
      VX-1 Pioneers +

The suffix symbols designate the artist that created the skins/decals. The Key is below:

      *=HrntFxr
      +=Paul Nortness
      ?=IDK

All decals and decal inis have been fixed and updated to SF2 standards.
Several ini edits to the loadout, data and avionics also update them to SF2 standards (as of Aug, 2011). Wingfold and bombay animations have been seperated; bombay uses the standard Control/O (oh)key, and the wingfold is activated via the Shift/9 key. The cockpit is not equiped with an RWR display, so an 'audio-only' version is used. The flight model is unchanged.
A new, SF2-style photographic hangar screen is also included. I've also included several sounds called for in the data ini.

As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed, easy-to-follow install instructions.

With thanks to all the skinners, and FoxMontor for their work!

    5. Lockheed U-2A for SF2

      Lockheed U-2A

=For SF2 (any and all merge levels)

*Note: as I'm not fully sure if "Dragon Lady" applies to this early model, I didn't add the name*.

This is a slight overhaul of Pasko/Column5's Lockheed U-2A recon plane. This is a full aircraft pak, with a modified cockpit. All new serial number decals have been created, historcally accurate for the USAF version, and those discoverable for CIA usage (US civil N-series). Both the original skins (NM and 'dark gray') are included. A new SF2-style hangar screen is included, as is Pasko's "PilotU2" , dressed in the 1950s style pressure suit.

The flight model feels pretty good in SF2, considering it hasn't been tweeked since 2005, but the aircraft is NOT a fighter, so don't expect massive manuverabililty. Other ini tweek remove some unneeded cockpit bits, add an audio-only RWR (couldn't find any info if A-models had jammer suites), landing lights, and a working Driftsight (ie: downward looking periscope). A destroyed model has also been assigned, for SF2 users.

As always, =READ= the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs/requires/should have, to make it a LOT easier to install. Also, as usual, the expected 'Notes and Other Nonesense' comments by me.
You should pay special attention to the "Flying the U-2" sections below, as it explains the use of the 'driftsight' and other things you'll need to know for correctly flying recon missions in this bird.

It is also highly likely this mod can be used in 1stGen SF/Wo* with minimal adjustments -- as 08 level game also use the /Decals subfolder, this should pose no issue whatsoever. Some data ini adjusment of the landing gear rolling radi may be necessary. Since I don't mod 1stGens anymore, this was not tested.

And yes, for those that look for such things, there are 2 Easter Eggs in the cockpit (actually, 3, but one seems to have disappeared!).

      Happy Landings!

    7. Sukhoi Su-11 "Fishpot-C"

The Su-11 was an upgraded version of the Sukhoi Su-9 ('Fishpot') interceptor, which had been developed in parallel with the OKB's swept wing Su-7 fighter bomber.
Recognizing the Su-9's fundamental limitations, Sukhoi began work on the Su-11, which first flew in 1961 as the T-47 prototype.
The Su-11 shared the Su-9's delta wing, swept tailplanes and cigar-shaped fuselage, as well as the circular nose intake, but had a longer nose to accommodate the more powerful 'Oryol' (Eagle; NATO reporting name 'Skip Spin') radar set.
A more powerful Lyulka AL-7F-1 turbojet was installed, providing 9.8 kN (2,210 lbf) more afterburning thrust for improved climb rate and high-altitude performance (and to compensate for increased weight).
The Su-11 can be distinguished from the Su-9 by the external fuel pipes atop the fuselage, aft of the cockpit.
The Su-9's beam-riding K-5 missiles were replaced by a pair of R-98 (AA-3 'Anab') weapons, usually one R-98MR semi-active radar homing and one R-98MT infrared guided. Like many interceptors of the period, it had no cannon.

    8. Mirage F1AZ

      Mirage F1AZ (1975-1991)
This mod is dedicated to BPAO, nothing would have been possible without him.
Single-seat strike and multi-role fighter. It is a simplified attack version with extra fuel in place of radar and some other all-weather avionics.
The South African Air Force recognized the advantages of a simplified version of the Mirafe F1CZ for day visual attack missions. The resulting Dassault-Breguet Mirage F1AZ
is visually distinguished by having a slender conical nose, resulting from removal of the large Cyrano IVM radar. In its place is the ESD Aïda II ranging radar and a
laser-ranger, with a large instrument boom housing the pitot/static heads attached on the underside of the nose.  The main avionics racking is moved from behind the cockpit
to the nose, making room for an extra fuselage tank. Other additions are a Doppler radar and a retractable refueling probe. South Africa received 32 aircraft for service with
      No. 1 Sqn.
The aircraft were withdrawn from service in 1997.

      Covered unit :
N°1 Squadron Early Camo. N°1 Squadron Experimental Camo. This addon is and will in all cases remain freeware.
      Released under CombatAce Fair-Use terms.
      Enjoy

    10. SAAF Mirage IIIB/C/D/E/RZ Cheetah C-D-E Superpack (*)

South Africa was one of the The largest export customers for Mirage IIICs built in France as the Mirage IIICZ (16). Some export customers obtained the Mirage IIIB, Mirage IIIBZ (3) and Mirage IIIDZ (3) and Mirage IIID2Z (11) were for South Africa.
A good number of IIIEs were built for export as well, South Africa had the Mirage IIIEZ (17) too. Export versions of the Mirage IIIR were built for South Africa as the Mirage IIIRZ (4), and Mirage IIIR2Z (4) with an Atar 9K-50 jet engine.
You will have ALL those SAAF Mirages (58) by numbers and letters in a single pack, designed for long waited south african scenery.
The IIIC/RZ served with 2nd squadron from 1963-4 till 1990
The IIIEZ served with 2nd squadron from 1966 till 1970, then with 3rd attack squadron untill 1975, when that unit was equpped with Mirage F.1. So they went to 85th Combat Flying School squadron and were retired in 1986.
The IIIDZ served with 3rd attack squadron and then 85th Combat Flying School, alongside IIIEZ from 1970 until 1986.
South African Air Force (SAAF) used Mirage III operationally to great effect in Angola. In 1979 a SAAF Mirage IIIRZ was shot down near Ongiva, in Angola. The wreckage of the aircraft was recovered by the Angolans.

    11. Su-7 "FITTER-A" Super Pack

The Sukhoi Su-7 (NATO designation name: Fitter-A) was a swept wing, supersonic fighter aircraft developed by the Soviet Union in 1955.
Originally, it was designed as tactical, low-level dogfighter, but was not successful in this role.
On the other hand, soon-introduced Su-7B series became the main Soviet fighter-bomber and ground-attack aircraft of the 1960s.
The Su-7 was rugged in its simplicity but its shortcomings included short range and low weapon load.
It had 4 hardpoints, later implemented to 6. This pack portrays both early and later version for each BM/BKL/BMK types.

      What's in:

      Su-7 [DLC AI planes 2]
      Su-7B
      Su-7BM (4 & 6 hardpoints)
      SU-7BKL (4 & 6 hardpoints) [new]
      Su-7BMK (4 & 6 hardpoints)

All flyables (the stock ones only reading flagged but with restore file for after patch edits)

Each with new/stock fixed/old edited/restored skins & proper historical decalset

      sound & pilots

      canopy open = 10 key

      improved weaponloads

tweaked userlists (Su-7BM: LSK fake skin removed - Soviet '75 Camo left only for fun)

    12. Tupolev Tu-16 Badger Collection

Although the Tu-16 began as a high-altitude, free-fall bomber, in the mid-1950s it was equipped to carry early Soviet cruise missiles.
The Tu-16KS (Badger-B) version could carry AS-1 missiles over a combat radius of 1,800 km (1,125 mi).
These very large weapons were aerodynamically similar to the Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-15 fighter,
fitted with either a nuclear or conventional warhead, had a range of about 140 km (90 mi).
They were intended for use primarily against US Navy aircraft carriers and other large surface ships.
Subsequent Tu-16s were converted to carry later, more advanced missiles, while their designations changed several times.
A versatile design, the Tu-16 was built in numerous specialized variants for reconnaissance, maritime surveillance,
electronic intelligence gathering (ELINT), and electronic warfare (ECM).
A total of 1,507 aircraft was constructed in three plants in the Soviet Union, in 1954–1962.
They were exported to Egypt, Iraq and Indonesia.
      Egypt: 20 Tu-16KS; 6 Tu-16T; 20 Tu-16KRS2/K-11; Tu-16R
      Indonesia: 25 Tu-16KS

    13. Mirage F-1CG

      Mirage F-1CG.
This mod is dedicated to BPAO, nothing would have been possible without him.
Greece operated 40 Dassault Mirage F1CG single seat aircraft. F1CG was first ordered in 1974 and entered service with the Hellenic Air Force in 1975. The aircraft were used by 334 Squadron and 342 Squadron. Mirage F1CG was armed with the Sidewinder AIM-9P missile, rather than the most commonly used Matra Magic II, and it could carry four AIM-9Ps, rather than just two.

Dave and Jimmybib for decals and skins and various support.

Again a special thanks to Dave who strongly wanted this airplane to which initially I was not so interested. I hope I did forget no one.
This version has tanks built in; with the tank skins in the right aircraft skin folder . 3D models and Skins are from mppd.
This should also fix the shadow issues. Also fixes some weps position issues.

To install just put into your SF2 saved games/thirdwire/StrikeFighters2 and let it overwrite folders as needed.

In the F-101A/C folders is a folder call 3 gun version and that is for anyone who wants to use the version that was used in Europe that had the a gun removed and replaced with TACAN equipment.

    17. B-58A Huster for SF Upgrade/Update Pak

      B-58A "Hustler"

      -- For SF2, Any and All --

This is a modification of Pasko's B-58 Hustler, to bring it more in line with SF2 standards.
If you have the 2009 SF2 Update, just install this directly OVER your pre-existing folders, allowing the overwrite. If you don't, don't worry about it.

Two skins are included (the same basic skin used twice), with all new 100% Historicaly Correct ™ serial numbers, listing each operational aircraft that served with the 43rd and 305th Bomb Wings. Unfortunatly, I was unable to break them down each into which served with each of the 6 Squadrons in the 2 Wings, but this should do nicely.

There are also 2 cockpits included:
The original SF2 mod by Dave (USAFMTL), that uses the F-106 pit and,
An extensivelly modified F-4 Phantom pit (stock 3W ini only -as the cockpit exists in all versions of the game). This one makes use of many 'moves' to drop items out if sight, and uses the physical external model for the windshield framing.
Neither one is perfect ... this is elaborated further in the "Notes" section, with instructions on what to switch or turn off in the various inis; depending on which you choose. Right now, it's using the Phantom pit, as it really is quite a bit closer than the 106's.

In the Loadout ini, several alternate loadouts are listed. These can be accessed from the 3rdWire mission editor screen (for post-Expansion Pak 2 users). Other ini edits repositon the running & landing lights, add 'virtual' flaps (as this aircraft made use of drooping elevons -without the original source file this is impossible to duplicate-), minor engine adjustments, and avionics tweeks. It could also stand a slightly improved FM; the changes and other comments are in the "Notes" section. Weapons are included, the nuke explosion effects are =NOT=. YOu should probably have them from the GunnyPak. Speaking of weapons, a "new" 8kt ARM is included; this is a fictional ARM version of the Genie, more in line with "Fail Safe" and the No.6 Decoy/EW/Escort aircraft, and gives you a SEAD load. Kill SAM sites DEAD!!! Since real decoys don't/can't exist....it's just for fun! There's also and EO version, that can be used for STRIKE or SEAD missions.

As always, =READ= the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs/requires/should have, to make it a LOT easier to install. Also, as usual, the expected 'Notes and Other Nonesense' comments by me. This =IS= Required reading -- there are some issues that are addressed there.

    18. Mirage F-1CZ

      Mirage F-1CZ
This mod is dedicated to BPAO, nothing would have been possible without him.
South Africa began looking for a replacement for the Mirage III in 1971 and purchased a licence to manufacture the Mirage F1 and its engine, the intention being to produce up to 100 Mirage F1s. This license was however cancelled because of the 1977 arms embargo. The SAAF then bought 16 Mirage F1CZs and 32 Mirage F1AZs which were quickly delivered by Dassault before the embargo was implemented, with deliveries starting in 1975. Both the F1CZ and F1AZ variants of the SAAF saw action during operations in the Border War.

    21. F-5E and F-5EM Tigre Brazilian Air Force (Pack)

F-5 Tigre Brazilian Air Force (Pack)

      The Tiger in Brazil

In Brazil, the history of the F-5 started in practice in March 1975, however, he was quoted to equip the FAB since 1965, in its version F-5A / B. In 1967, he was again contemplated, this time as a design vector SISDACTA. The preference was for the F-4 Phantom, but this was vetoed by the Americans, who in turn offered the F-5C (version proposed by Northrop with improvements based on the evaluation report made in Vietnam).
The impasse U.S. favored the French, having acquired the FAB 16 Dassault Mirage III. A new international contest held in 1971 to replace the AT-33A, attended the Fiat G-91, MB-326K, Harrier Mk-50, Jaguar GR1 and A-4F, won by Northrop fighter now in his version F-5E. Began a long and successful history of the Tiger II in FAB, which still continues today and is expected to last until 2018. The FAB received six F-5B (FAB 4800-4805), 4 F-5F (FAB 4806-4809) and 58 F-5E (FAB 4820-4877) that were acquired in two separate batches. The first batch in 1973, factory direct (06 F + 36 F-5B-5D), the value of $ 115 million and the second batch in 1988, former USAF (04 F-22 F-5F and 5E), the total cost of $ 13.1 million. The first aircraft of "Operation Tiger", became known as the transfer of the first batch were delivered from February 28, 1975 in Palmdale. Were three F-5B, which arrived in Brazil on 06 March of the same year, followed by another three F-5B on 13 May. On June 12, 1975, came the first 4 F-5E to BAGL, starting an airlift that ended on February 12 of the following year, totaling 36 aircraft.
In 1985, after much searching, we reached an agreement with the Reagan administration, which agreed to negotiate 4 F-5F and 22 F-5E, which would come from the ranks of the USAF, at a cost of $ 13.1 million, a trifle. Around September 2006, it was speculated acquisition of 9 aircraft F-5E Tiger II, used in Saudi Arabia, 6 F-5E and F-5F 3. This purchase, however, went no further, come to the Brazilian Air Force to acquire a lot of aircraft of the Royal Jordanian Air Force. In total 11 aircraft were purchased, and 8 single-seat F-5E and F-5F 3 seaters. The first aircraft coming from Jordan arrived in Brazil on August 19, 2008 and were sent to the Air Force Material Park of São Paulo (PAMA-SP). All the F-5 ex-Jordan should be converted to the standard F-and F-5FM 5EM.

      O Tigre no Brasil

    22. SF2 Chengdu J-7 Fishbed Series Pak by Mod Mafia/TMF (v.2)

      SF2 Chengdu J-7 Fishbed Series Pak by Mod Mafia/TMF (v.2)        11/12/2023

      = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged (Full-5 Reccomended/Preferred) =
An upgrade pack for the 3 J-7 Fishbeds built by The Mod Mafia/Mirage Factory. This is the full set as issued in 2012. This is EVERYTHING, all the aircraft, weapons, pilots etc. These aircraft have had their FM revised to something more SF2-ish, with all hit boxes and collision points also revised. It is designed to REPLACE, in total, all previous versions. Yes, you may just drop these over your originals. Backup copies of the data inis are all supplied as a "just in case CYA".
      ===
Some of several "newer models" that were never quite completed when Bpao passed away a few year back. I've been fortunate enough to be allowed to complete his work, as a member of the Mod Mafia.
This pack contains 3 of the J-7 Fishbed series, as built and operated by the PLAAF (People's Repbulic of China), and exported to some other folks. They are:
      Chengdu J-7I
      Chengdu J-7II
      Chengdu J-7IIA
The J-7I and II have only PLAAF skins. The J-7IIA (exported as F-7B) has skins for
      PLAAF
Iraqi Air Force (folder called "Camo2")
Islamic Republic of Iran AF (folder called "Camo1")

All skins are in jpg format, Decal Randomization is TRUE.  Damage textures are the older tga versions.
All markings are decals,(excepting National Markings, which on some skins are painted on), and reference stock 3W items. The PLAAF Bort numbers may be incorrect; skinner/decal makers are !ENCOURAGED!! to create more correct ones.
A user list is included for all, even for the I & II, which were NOT exported
All sounds, pilot figure(s), seats, are included. Weapons, for the most part, reference those already "stock" in-game items. However, in the usual "CYA" effort, Chinese A-A missiles are included. These come from the GunnyPak.

The Canopy opens with the Standard Animation Keystroke (tm), Shift/0. The RWR.lst for the J-7IIA references many items from dtmdragon's Updated Threat Library; the url/download link I cannot find! So, I've just went ahead and included all the various RWR tgas that I had (in the /Flight folder included in this zip)
When 'in game', you'll see on the Aircraft Selection Dropdown Menu, for each one...
      Chengdu J-7I (TMF)
      Chengdu J-7II (TMF)
      Chengdu J-7IIA (TMF)
This will differentiate all these aircraft from any others you may have, either stock, user-made, imported from China, or whathaveyou.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please -READ- them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too for futher explainations, clarifactions, illuminations and so forth.
A full listing of credits, as always, is below the Install Instructions.

    23. Yak-38M_85

      Yak-38M Beta Version

      by: Krizis

This model represents the "improved" variant of the Yak-38 Forger, the Yak-38M.
Work on the '38M began in 1982, with an eye towards minimizing, if not eliminating, the deficiencies of its predecessor.
By the time of its introduction in June of 1985, the improvements included a more potent power plant, the Soyuz-Tumansky R-28-300, as well as more powerful lift engines (2 x Rybinsk RD-38 turbo-jets). A steerable nose wheel, an increased load-carrying capacity on all wing hard points, and enlarged intakes rounded out the list.
All the improvements resulted in a marked improvement in the aircraft's reliability and overall performance, and some of the earlier models were rebuilt to the updated standards of the 'M.

      TO INSTALL:

Simply drag the two supplied folders, "Sounds" and "Objects", into your User Name/Saved Games/Thirdwire/SF2x folder.

      RELEASE NOTES:

This model will not by available in any in-game missions or campaigns until late June of 1985, and will be unavailable after July of 1991.
The loadout provided is as correct as I could make, given the limitations of the series, and the availabilty of some models (namely multiple ejector racks and missile guidence pods)
The flight dynamics model is based on the Thirdwire flight model, with a few tweaks to reflect the up-rated capabilities of the M-model, as well as tweaks in thrust placement, thrust values, and flap values to allow for a smooth transition from vertical to horizontal flight, even under hard mode. Despite this, I recommend using a full HOTAS in conjunction with rudder pedals, or at least a HOTAS with a "twist" rudder axis.

      KNOWN ISSUES:

      1) There is no wing-fold, nor canopy animation for this model, as Krizis never sent me a completed LOD file with animation IDs defined for those features. Hopefully, he will see this release and come back to finish the model.

      2) The Cockpit, which was provided by Stary, presently lacks a working gunsight. This may be resolved sometime in September of 2014, as which point I'll release a revised model.

      3) The model is set up by default for SF2NA, which considers strike missions to be anti-ship missions. Otherwise, electing an "anti-ship" mission in SF2NA, may result in a game crash. The loadout.ini file that is provided with this release is configured for easy editing, so that you can enable conventional strike and anti-ship missions in the other SF2 titles.

      4) The AI in this series will not use the VTOL capabilities of any aircraft model, so this aircraft is equipped with a virtual tail-hook to allow it to land on the 1143-series aviation cruisers (Kiev, et all). CA-member Snailman has a fixed data ini for the Kiev in our uploads section, that simulates a VTOL "launch".

      CREDITS:

Krizis: 3D model and grey texture-set.
      Stary: Cockpit
Fubar512: ini work and sound effects.
      Lindr: Kh-23 ASM model.
      The Trooper: Red7001 pilot model

This model is freeware, and may not be redistributed for profit without the express consent of its owner, Krizis

    24. F-101 Voodoo Super Pack

McDonnell F-101 Voodoo Megapack By Erikgen for SF2

      Feb 2010 Patch

      Credits:
      Column5 for the FM
      Spillone104 for the J57 sound
NGHENGO, bobrock, Canadair, triplethr3at as test team
Dave and Jimmybib for decals and skins and various support.

Again a special thanks to Dave who strongly wanted this airplane to which initially I was not so interested. I hope I did forget no one.
This version has tanks built in; with the tank skins in the right aircraft skin folder . 3D models and Skins are from mppd.
This should also fix the shadow issues. Also fixes some weps position issues.

To install just put into your SF2 saved games/thirdwire/StrikeFighters2 and let it overwrite folders as needed.

The Med res textures are for people with low end machines.

In the F-101A/C folders is a folder call 3 gun version and that is for anyone who wants to use the version that was used in Europe that had the a gun removed and replaced with TACAN equipment.

    25. F-11F-1 Tiger for SF2

      Grumman F-11F-1 Tiger

      -- For SF2, Any and All --

This is an upgrade package of the F-11F by Fleet Defender & Co (originally released in 2005). All the skins and decals have been updated, with many new ones created. Ini edits fix the overbright landing light; other tweeks add new AI sections, place weapons more centered on the pylons, round count corrected, and some other minor adjustments. A new avionics ini is included, that adds the radar ranging gunsight. The cockpit used is the stock A-4B Skyhawk, which is available in all versions of SF2, excepting stand-alone SF2:I mods folders. Merged installs should have no issues whatsomever. The lead-computing gunsight statements have also been added.

4 skins and decals are included in this pak (all that I could find!). They are:

      VA-156 (which became VF-111 in 1959)
      VF-21
      VF-33
      VF-111

Skins are by various artists, hopefully listed (correctly!) in the Credits below. Several of the skins were repainted, from a partial template I created, to remove the painted on Modex numbers. These are now all decals.

Weapons included are just the 150 gallon drop tank; all others use stock in-game items.
I've added several Mission profiles that I'm sure the actual aircraft did NOT perform (Strike, CAS, Armed Recon, and Anti-Ship). They're there for the playability factor. If you don't want to perform them, just edit them out of the data ini.

As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs/requires/should have, to make it a LOT easier to install. Also, as usual, the expected 'Notes and Other Nonesense' comments by me.
A full credits listing of those that worked on it, or contributed parts are below, and in the original release readme included.

      Happy Landings!
