You'll target the ship the same way you target everything else now. The instant you get in the cockpit you hit "E" and it says "enemy carrier". Or "runway". Or "goddamnevilcommsbuildingdottir."

Most likely, yes. Here's one way to do it:

Just like with SEAD missions, in Anti-Ship missions, pressing "E" will mean "next enemy ship".

But there is a question here. At the beginning of a SEAD mission, E doesn't target you anything until you come to the target area or come across any AAA/Sam unit on the way.

Since the antiship missiles here have pretty long ranges, you should be able to launch from standoff ranges.. I'm thinking a basic integration with the Hawkeye could be in work here, like them informing that the enemy convoy is detected, and your E button will start working...

Of course, these ideas assume that SF2:NA and campaings will give the player option to fly other navy strike aicraft. (From older releases)

since the only flyable US strike plane will probably be the a-7 corsair, the "E" will probably be the key, and don't forget the corsairII did not have harpoon capability (if i remember correctly).

and for the "over the horizon" items, TK may have implemented some radar management for the AI (like he did in the past for the radar guided air to air missiles)

Yup, his video reviews are well executed, informative and honest. Plus, you just gotta love Swedish accent! :drinks:

VF-111 was deployed off the USS Carl Vinson on its world tour (circumnavigation) during the Autumn of 1983, so yes, they were technically in the Atlantic during the probable time frame of this next title.

Right - that fact just will not be enough for TK including VF-111 skins in his rollout SFNA...

But I guess there will be some excellent modder jumping-in and delivering their skin for the game, soon - I hope... :good:

That would be 6 PM in TK's home time zone, I don't think that's necessarily when he'd say "too late" and wait till the next day. Now if you said "17 hrs", then you would be correct because then it's the 16th for TK.

I think we are still looking at a WIP. I have just noticed in the last batch of pics that USS South Carolina is missing its Phalanx.

Maybe he is going with the same naming convention as the planes like CGN-36_79 "pre Phalanx" then CGN-36_82 "has Phalanx" because i have noticed that too with the Spruance-class boats
