No idea. Instead I wonder, since when landings on water are supported? You can literally land over water, no carriers, nothing. The game engine is so old and flawed sometimes.

Crash landings is possible with invisible skids under the belly. It works pretty well on early jets and props.

I think I will make a separate thread about it in "Mods & Skinning Discussion".

Got shot up pretty good by some 57 MM over Al-Basrah but the trusty J-79 let me still fly!  My wingman decided to abandon me but thankfully some F-14's chased away some Floggers who smelled blood in the water... Gingerly flew back by F-4 to a forward base in Dezful... Lowered the gears and realized my nosewheel was gone haha!
