I'd like to present some early effects of my fork, let me know what you think. So far, I've only redone the top side of the fuselage. Before: and after:

All other aircraft serials, while having served in 21 Squadron, could not be matched to their individual lettered aircraft. I'd say strap on in ! The series is not designed for the pure flight sim experience , but for the " get home from work ,switch on the pc and go fly / kill things" experience it is hard to beat. As for cost, look at all the wonderful free stuff on this amazing sight freely donated by amazingly talented modders, where else are you going to get so much varied additions for free ?

Hallo Guys, we are ready with a bunch of planes, but we would like to release them wit ha proper pit and not with a place holder. The pits are already in development by a very talented guy, known as "Logan" here at CA, the guy behind the upcoming Mirage 4K, im in contact with him. The progress is steady. Here we have the newest member of the Fitter family, reworked the details for the early version, Tailsection was rearranged too. The skin is done by my good friend Enoc

German Panzer IV is up! Same story as the Sherman; it is from the same royalty free payware source. MG-34 by me. I re-uploaded both HEMTT models also. The color of the cab/base textures was adjusted to better match the trailers.

Sorry to dig up an old thread but I've finally worked out a way to fly in VR in Strike Fighters 2 on an Oculus Rift CV1 using a variation on the method linked above. It's complicated and will only work in DirectX9 mode and you'll need Tridef 3D + the Tridef-3D-Occulus Rift beta Addon, which I can post if anyone wants to try it, and VorpX. Unfortunately, you need to use the VorpX desktop viewer as I can't get the game to display using Steam's BigScreen beta, but the good news is that Oculus headtracking works so you can look around the cockpit without using freetrack. Although the VR is not as good as it is in games that natively support VR, such as Il-2 BoS, DCS and X-plane, the VR effect and 3D depth is still quite impressive in Strike Fighters 2 and on my sytem runs at about 60-70 fps. I've also tried DX9/DX10 modes using the standard Tridef 3D side-by-side mode, 3D Superdepth with reshade and directly injecting Strike Fighters into VorpX and although I can get the game running I can't manage to get any 3D depth so its like playing on a big 2D screen. Strike Fighters 1 also works using the Tridef/VorpX method but there are alot of graphical problems in VR that aren't present in SF2. I wouldn't rush out and buy all the VR and 3D software just to try it, as that would be an expensive exercise, especially until I can confirm it works on someone else's system, but if any one already owns the software and is willing to give it a try I can post a step-by-step guide to getting it working. norrin

Another download is available. This is an M4A3E8 Sherman obviously. It was made from a Payware Royalty Free 3D model. It was a nice model with a polycount suitable for this game, but there were lots of things that could use some adjustment. Capun''s site has some other conversions from the same source, which is probably what triggered my project here. The stock Israel game has the M-50 and M-51 upgunned sherman variants, but the game was still lacking an unmodified 76mm sherman of similar quality. This should be it. Earlier I was thinking of adding one or two 75mm shermans as well, but in a post WW2 scenario these may not fit in. The weakest Red tank being the T-34-85 with a much better gun...
