Español: A fines del 2018 unos 5 Super Étendard Modernisé arribaron a la Argentina a la espera de una puesta a punto, pero lamentablemente para el 2022 siguen sin volar. Esta skin es lo mas similar a la pintura del Super Étendard del ARA, la única libertad que me tome a la hora de hacer la skin es añadir un killmark como tenían los Super Étendard después de la guerra de Malvinas. Si quieren modificar mi skin, añadir algo o lo que sea, agradecería bastante que se me dé el crédito correspondiente, ya que me llevo bastante tiempo debido a la falta de plantilla que me faciliten el laburo. Además darle los créditos correspondientes a denissoliveira por el avión y la skin sobre la que trabaje. Sin nada mas que agregar, espero que disfruten la skin. This skin is the most similar to the painting of the ARA Super Étendard, the only freedom I took when making the skin is to add a killmark like the Super Étendard had after the Malvinas war. Outer Space Terrains July 13th, 2021 (1st Release) by Menrva and nuni >For Strike Fighters 2, Recommended Full-5 Merged This package was born out of fun while working on the realSKY Environment enhancement mod. It features two experimental terrains, Moon and Mars, each with own environment data files which allow different gravity acceleration values and custom skies. Due to various hardcoded factors of the stock game, the Moon terrain shows contrail effects at very high altitude like any other terrain, as well as overcast/inclement weather layers which cannot be disabled in any way; enjoy these custom environments by taking such and other game engine limitations into account. It is suggested to install the realSKY Environment mod, since the custom environment data references extra details from that package. Both terrains feature fresh new 250m resolution heightmaps (instead of the stock 500m resolution), allowing for greater details and precision in elevation changes; overall they provide each terrain with a better look. Given that these are extraterrestrial terrains, different types of source data had to be used in their creation; for this and other limitations, altitudes of geographical features are inaccurate. The Moon terrain spans from 2040 to 2070, while Mars is available from 2060 to 2090; both are designed for fictional clashes between Red forces (Russian Space Forces and People's Liberation Army Strategic Support Force) and Blue forces (United States Space Force and French Space Force). Both terrains contain only two bases, one for Friendly forces and one for Enemy forces, fully populated with custom objects created by nuni. Few target areas have been added so that users can easily discover features such as craters, plateaus and valleys. At this stage, only the Recon mission type is available, so just have fun by flying over these barren terrains. Off Map bases have been added to both terrains and long range AI flights could be generated from them. An Orion MPCV created by nuni in three different variants has been added as a flyable aircraft as well as a terrain object in points of interest. In addition, custom skins have been created for it so that all AI-only space forces spawn with at least one terrain-specific aircraft; I would have liked to include other feasible and realistic spacecraft, but none are available at this stage. If you wish to contribute to this end, just contact me. The idea is to create plausible space warfare and exploration scenarios, so alien and sci-fi stuff should not be involved. Hi there everyone, I joined combatace almost 10 years ago and, after several attempts I finally managed to make this monstrosity. The mighty BC-304 Daedalus-Class battlecruiser from the Stargate franchise. It is the second generation of interstellar Earth warships made integrating alien reverse engineered technology obtained in the operations of the Stargate Command during the previous 8 years. It includes: - 28 automatic railgun turrets around the ship. - 16 VLS missile in the front deck silos, armed with conventional HE warheads or tactical nuclear ones. The range of this missiles are 150+ km. Since there is no name for these missiles I made it up as SSM (Standard Space Missile). - Advanced Trinium-Naquadah alloy armour (Steel with lots of hitpoints). - Reverse engineered sublight engines (that uses this naquadah as fuel, making the TSFC=0.01 as it possess a huge amount of energy so don't worry about consumption :) ). - Antigravity drive which substitutes the landing gear allowing you to hover at about 300 meters above the ground. Now you can stay above the tanks shooting down Beagles, watching how enemy AAAs fail trying to shoot you down muahahaha. - Shield generator that covers the entire ship, "theoretically" absorbing the damage before it reaches the ship itself. For those who are also like stargate franchise, no, I haven't made the also mighty Asgard Plasma Beam upgrade, but I will try to do something in future releases. I also included several skins of the different ships that appeared in the franchise: U.S.S. Daedalus - The first to be commissioned for USAF which is assigned to assist Atlantis expedition in Pegasus Galaxy. U.S.S. Odyssey - The second to be finished which remains in Earth. B.F.R. Korolev - Commissioned almost simultaneously with the Odyssey, given to the Russian Federation in exchange for the operations of the stargate. U.S.S. Apollo - The second to be assigned to Pegasus Galaxy. C.N.S. Sun Tzu - The first ship to be given to People's Republic of China. U.S.S. Hammond - The last known to be commissioned for United States, originally was going to be called Phoenix but they changed the name to honour the first General in charge of Stargate Command, George Hammond, after passing away. U.S.S. Phoenix - The name given to that ship in alternate realities. Some notes about this model: I don't fully understand the damage mechanics in this game, so despite of the fact that this ship have "advanced force fields" that withstand several tactical nukes, sometimes you can get shot down by the rear gun of a Tu-95. Since it is a very big ship (650m long) all the 28 railguns have difficulties aiming at small targets due to the offset of the guns. But they still hit big targets such as other spaceships of the same size, and sometimes big bombers like Tu-95. Anyways, if someone knows how to improve this, suggestions and ideas are very welcomed! The flight mechanics have been "developed" from FastCargo's F-35B, my goal was to have vertical takeoff and landing functioning but I have not managed to achieve that properly. This "plane" is quite special to fly, it has a 100+ times bigger inertias than the F-35 so don't expect to dogfight with fighter jets, just wait until they crash in your force fields :) Also, take into account that the size of this aircraft is such that you can not fly in regular squadron formations as it crashes with the other ships. It is ment to fly alone in air combat missions (however I would like to implement air to ground warfare in next versions). It has no cockpit, I just put it in the place of the bridge. I will try to do my own cockpit in the future. If you are wondering where I took these F-302 of the screenshots, they are from the A-Team Skunkworks. They also have the Death Glider so if you get it from there you can recreate some pretty good stargate battles! ********Any commercial use of this mod is CLEARLY FORBIDDEN!!! CREDITS for the material that made this possible: - FastCargo's F-35 that I used as a base for the INIs. - Effects included in Stary's EE3 for SF2 series used for the nuclear explosions in both ground and air. I know that this material also involve more people who put their best effort on it, I want to thank them sincerely, and also the people involved on the Viper afterburner effect that I was unable to track. I hope I haven't missed anybody! Also I would like to thank the modding knowledge in combatace which helped me to make this possible. And finally! The model itself is incomplete, I still have to add some parts like the communication deck and the sensors array and many more things, but Christmass time is over so I decided to upload what I have made. It is my first serius mod after having joined Combatace 10 years ago, after several attempts of doing sci-fi stuff, and now I finally managed to make this "living insult to aerodynamics". I really hope you enjoy it and of course I am opened to suggestions and feedback as this model is not perfect by far (a lot of things are not adjusted, it lacks more testing, it is like flying two carriers in a simulator not ment to do that, etc.). Korea (V3) visual update and enhancements pack. This is new tileset, treemod, objects, targets enhancement mod for Wrench's Korea(v3) terrain. Version 1.1 update: Added missing graphics files for the village type objects, added three graphics to main folder (were in seasonal ones) just to be extra sure Why: Kevin's Korea V3 terrain was released with temporal f***ing ugly test set I made for KAW team back in early 2010, despite me having some other nicer fittable sets at my disposal. Yes I have been angry about that. Very very angry. But now I am ok, good doctors care for me here ;) This work is done to fix that omission of mine and I tired hard to make Korea nice place to fly in. What's this: -new summer and winter tilesets -new tile layout-following dedicated TOD objects, with densely placed and rather real-size objects -new era-themed ground objects (barracks, fuel tanks, tents, HQ, fire houses, misc buildings etc) to replace the stock TW ones, be it in airbases or targetareas -some older target objects have their textures tweaked or repainted under fair use license; that is mostly various "halle" objects by either Gepard or Gocad (various runways are yet to be repainted) -lots of targetareas have re-positioned targets to avoid i.e. barracks in the middle of tree cluster or factories sunken within tod buildings -but there is still LOTS of places to redo. You have been warned. -lots of targetareas expanded with additional eyecandy civilian village-type objects (though these are still a bit of WIP and bit "generic asian" in appearance; also these are old, like 5 years old) -the tiles are specfically tuned to work best with SARCASM 2 beta 2 update 1 lighting and sky Installation (read carefully!): -given the amount of objects this pack replaces you are advised to keep archived full current Korea terrain you use (it's called BACKING UP and it's really healthy, trust me) -this pack assumes you do have working Korea (v3) terrain installed and tested in your installation -dedicated Korean War installation in of course preferable -before installing content of this 7-zip archive, go to your Korea3 folder and delete EVERY SINGLE TOD file there (the files with .tod extension) -otherwise you might end with trees in wrong places of houses in the sea. Yes, really. -you can delete the seasonal tiles folders (winter, spring, fall, late fall etc) as this pack has new unique seasons in their new folders with new naming (fade_summer and fade_winter; why "fade"? This months-long project I kept under such code name to confuse my better half or possible Insky-related hacker bot that keeps attacking my emails. Ohh wait, where's my tilfoil hat?) -extract this archive to a place of your choice and move the Korea3 folder to your terrains one overwriting all files when asked. Overwriting IS vital of course. -you shall test my Sarcasm 2 beta (2 update 1) with this pack, really. i have my own, ohh well "art style" for SF2 series these packs represent; you might not like this but well, you can't change me can you? -in SF2 WW2 forum I released some new or updated effects, work well with this pack -you're pretty much good to go at this point Licensing: CA Freeware license apply -not to be used in any payware project; But you are encouraged to repaint and tweak the tiles, objects and associated graphis, tods to fit your own tileset or terrain. Credits: The author of the original decade old SFP1 Korea mod terrain as I tried to replicate it's general green-brownish tones. Wrench and KAW team for Korea3 and everything-Korea related. Than you guys. KAW mod is not yet dead. Or I'd rather say quite alive and kicking. Do335 for his work invested in putting the KAW team work and available assets back together. Much appreciated. Package Étendard The Dassault-Breguet Super Étendard The Dassault-Breguet Super Étendard (Étendard is French for "battle flag") is a French carrier-borne strike fighter aircraft designed by Dassault-Breguet for service with the French Navy. The aircraft is an advanced development of the Étendard IVM. The Super Étendard first flew in October 1974 and entered French service in June 1978. French Super Étendards have served in several conflicts such as the Kosovo war, the war in Afghanistan and the military intervention in Libya. The Super Étendard was also operated by Iraq and Argentina, who both deployed the aircraft during wartime. The Super Étendard was used by Iraq to attack oil tankers and merchant shipping in the Persian Gulf during the Iraq-Iran War. Argentina's use of the Super Étendard and the Exocet missile during the 1982 Falklands War led to the aircraft gaining considerable popular recognition. In French service, the Super Étendard was replaced by the Dassault Rafale in 2016. Special thanks to Paulopanz and Coupi.
