New canopy structure for the F-35A, F-35B and F-35C v1.1.0 Important ! At first I would like to thank GKABS who was so kind to create this FakePilot element. Indeed, this mod uses the FakePilot method. This is mainly an update for the F-35A/B/C Lightning II V 2.5 for SF2 by FastCargo : https://combatace.com/files/file/9051-f-35abc-lightning-ii-v-25-for-sf2/ Before using this mod you must install the F-35s. The mod contains: - the F-35 data.ini files for each 3 versions of the Lightning II fighter. - The GKABS mod - The FakePilot mod - Update by Paulopanz (see NOTAM) NOTAM for v1.1.0 : - the opening canopy animation of the F-35B is deleted and the position of the new structure is updated with new texture. - by Paulo : - F-35A taxing dancing fixed [Baffmeister's tricks rule ...] - F-35B taxing dancing fixed [a better take off like Seaharrier or Yak-36 should nedeed] - F-35C taxing dancing fixed; medium carrier set [no LPD LPH etc usage like F-35B]; wingfold and canopy opened on deck [the addon parts are on pilot and not seat entries] In order to install it you must put the objects folder into your SF2 directory. They will be part of bigger ODS 30 Anni helicopters pack. I added temporary CAS mission for Mi-8, to test AI attacks. Apache is using Helfires in fake pods, cause AI don't like guided missiles. 495th FS "Valkyries" (USAFE) Skin for F-35A v1.0.0 Hello, On 15 September 2020, the USAF announced that the 495th Fighter Squadron would be reactivated as first F-35A unit of the 48th Fighter Wing "Liberty Wing" at RAF Lakenheath. The "Valkyries" received their first four F-35As on 15 December 2021. This skin must be used with the Strike Fighters 2. You should add this skin to the "SF2 USAF F-35 redux 1.0.0" by kblomkvist : https://combatace.com/files/file/16811-sf2-usaf-f-35-redux/ I have created the main decals of this famous fighter squadron of the USAFE and I have used the DoctorWho F-35A/B skin templates. These decals are the early delivered F-35As for the "Liberty Wing". The original mod of the F-35 was made by FastCargo. In order to install this skin you have to put the Objects folder into your SF2 game directory. NOTAM :) I hope to finalize the integration of a new canopy front structure (Fakepilot method). SF2 UH-19/HO4S/HRS Chickasaw Upgrade Pack 4/12/2021 -For SF2 =ONLY= (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended) **NOTE: this is for the American/non-British versions -0NLY-!! Upgrades for the Whirlwind will follow** This is major upgrade of the UH-19/HO4S/HRS as released by Strahi. Please be advised, if you have the original download, you will unfortunately have to delete it from your mods folder(s). THIS version is highly modified, with many additional items. If left as "drag & drop" over the original, there will be conflicts that might be unresolvable. Thus, the need for complete removal of the original. This has been approved by Strahi, to whom I extend great thanks!! For those interested, the following services/units are covered: US Air Force: 41st Air Rescue Squadron, Hamilton AFB (early/mid 1950s) US Navy: HU-1 "Pacific Fleet Angles" (c.1952, Korea) US Marines: HMR-161 "Greyhawks" (c.1952, Korea) US Army: 6th Transportation Co. (H), (Korea) Generic Olive Drab overall Royal Canadian Navy: VH-21 (c.mid 1950s) Many painted on insignia and service markings remain as such. This is due to the minimal amount of meshes used to build the aircraft. All new serial number decals have been made for all included versions (up to 26 each). As is to be expected, while all are correct for the aircraft & services depicted, they are 'generic' in nature. When a unit's or service's serials HAVE been found, you'll see the star (*) in the number list dropdown. Decal randomization is TRUE. You will also be adding a new nation, "US ARMY", unless you have the Expanded Nations Mod by Menrva. Full instructions will be found in the INstall section below. If you do not wish to, you'll have to edit the texture set inis for the 2 Army skins back to "USAF". Game-wise, it won't matter either way. On the aircraft selection drop down list, you'll see: H-19 Chickasaw (st) The (st) is for Strahi, and will diferentiate this H-19 for any others that may or may not exist. In reality, it should read "H-19/HRS/HO4S", but what the hey! We all know what it is! As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!! Here's my rework of the original SF2 F-35A from FastCargo's F-35A/B/C Lightning II V 2.5 for SF2 pack. It includes USAF F-35A only, so there are no B/C or foreign operators versions (maybe I'll do them in the future). This pack was created and tested with full 5 merged install of SF2 with latest patch. My main objective was to make this aircraft more reallistic by reworking the skins (RAM coatings, panel lines etc.), loadouts and other minor .ini changes. The afterburner is changed to the Viper Burner by The Viper Team and the pilot is changed to the one with JHMCS. Following squadrons are included: 4th FS, 388th FW, Hill AFB, UT 31st TES, 53d TEG, Eglin AFB, FL 34th FS, 388th FW, Hill AFB, UT 58th FS, 33d OG, Eglin AFB, FL 61st FS, 56th OG, Luke AFB, AZ 62d FS, 56th OG, Luke AFB, AZ 63d FS, 56th OG, Luke AFB, AZ 422d TES, 53d TEG, Eglin AFB, FL All aircraft numbers are real and come from this site: http://www.f-16.net/aircraft-database/F-35/serials-and-inventory/airforce/USAF/ The default loadouts are all-internal. Presets with external stores are also included to use with in-game mission editor. Most weapons come from Ravenclaw's Weapons Pack 2. Loadouts do not include external fuel tanks as they are not used in real life. Reworked skin template based on DoctorWho's template is included. It is suitable for F-35A only. Feel free to create new skins, give me credit when publishing. Installation: Firstly, if you are new to SF2, please head to The Knowledge base and read about Mod Folders and installing mods. It is highly recommended to delete your previous version of F-35A from your Aircraft folder. After doing this, copy all the content of "To Mods Folder" folder to your mod folder. Overwrite when asked.
