It depends on what format the lod calls for. If it calls for jpg files, then you can put jpg files in the plane root folder.
-
It is called 'Box02', but it will leave a hole if you hide it.
-
Nice. Mine is almost the same. You could elaborate the [DetectSystem] section as well, because, as compared to other SF2NA ships, it is rather empty.
-
I have a modified SCB-125_Data.ini with fully-functional guns, moving gun radars, as well as updated detectsystem section with correct view and radar positions. There are a few glitches (the gun structure and barrel are the same node so they look a bit funny when pitching up, the gun radars and the accompanying guns do not look in the same direction), but these cannot be corrected without touching the model. I can upload it if you want it.
-
Try 'right_speed_brake' and 'left_speed_brake'.

After these node names for antenna on A-4H/E Ahit (73):

How about Antenna_nose and Antenna_hump or Antenna_hump2? -
Paint scheme just won't let me select an insignia.

What is the value in the DecalLevel lines in the entries referring to the squadron-specific markings in your decals.ini? If it is not 1 (DecalLevel=1), then correct it. According to what you describe, my guess is that it is 2 instead of 1. -
Now don't get me started on who found it out first... http://bbs.thirdwire...php?f=14&t=4899

Could you link or upload these photos? I also think that the HPC tank was first used on the F-4G. I also remember reading somewhere that initially they were retained for the weasels only. The earliest picture I could find showing an F-4E with an HPC tank was taken in '84. I also found pix depicting Ramstein-based Phantoms still with the old tank taken sometime in '85. The earliest pictures I could find showing Luftwaffe F-4Fs and RF-4Es with HPC tanks were taken in '83. (Of course it is possible that the tank was introduced earlier, but for me the best proof is dated photos.)

Bad News? Don't know if anyone noticed this....
Blade replied to eraser_tr's topic in General Discussion
We (SF users and modders) want one thing, while TK, as the developer (who has to make a living out of it), wants something else. The more these things overlap one another, the happier we are. This has been the case so far (more or less), so I am grateful to TK for giving us all these things and I will accept if he decides to pursue different goals (whatever they may be). I for one don't have plans to abandon the series (though it is possible that I will stick to a certain patch level in the future without buying anything else in case the series heads into a direction I don't prefer). That's my two cents. -
Didn't see this posted already. New DLC is out.

I hope he eventually implements these changes. If so, I'm gonna buy the DLC. I was really looking forward to having a stock F-4N (with all the actual fetaures discussed above) but now I'm a bit disappointed because of the missing details (even though I don't consider myself a rivet counter). -
Yep, via the fake pilot method. You shouldn't use the F-4E-35_data.ini that comes with the mod, that file is outdated and incompatible with the current stock SF2 F-4E.
-
Maybe you find THIS useful. Or the DLC F-4EJ may be used as an alternative.

BTW, I am still sure that locked inboard LEFs, drooping ailerons and slotted stabilators were standard features of the F-4B from about '67-68 (see the photos below). This means that the N had them as well. This photo was taken in 1971. This photo was taken in Feb 1968. -

I also prefer the full loviz one. Three more: Slotted stabilators are clearly visible. It's a shame that the DLC N lacks them... -

Sure. I will upload or link more if I have the time. -

Are you sure? As far as my research goes, they were fitted to the B in the late '60s (after the F-4J entered service), so I am sure the N had them as well. Does the DLC F-4N have them? I bet it doesn't... -

And does it come with drooping ailerons? If so, I may buy it... VF-21 (and maybe VF-154) had at least a handful of TPS birds during their last F-4N cruise in 1983. There were some reserve units that flew the F-4N in TPS. These were VF-201 and VF-202, as well as VMFA-112, VMFA-134 and VMFA-321. -
Mesh name for aux intakes on TK's F-4M
Blade replied to Sheriff001's topic in Mods & Skinning Discussion
Try 'axilliary_intake_door_left_outer' and 'axilliary_intake_door_right_outer'. -
Actually, this is from the '70s. Click here for more.

Judging by the other expansion packs, I feel that the Mirage F1 pack won’t come with just one flyable plane (and some of its variants). I guess making a proper MIIIE (and M5F) cockpit and model shouldn’t take much effort now, so I think it is possible that it would be something like a ‘mini Armée de l'Air pack’ with three flyable Mirage variants. At least this is what I hope for… BTW, well said, Streakeagle.
-
My thoughts exactly! It can be used to model the first batch of Mirage IIIEAs, which were similarly equipped (that is, no IRM rails, only the centerline Matra 530).
