  1. The only thing "What-If" about that scenario, are the Raptors actually deploying to a combat zone.
  2. Sadly EA went down hill years ago. It was only a matter of time when sales plummeted low enough for people to take real notice. You don't give people what they want, they won't spend money.
  3. Fun add-on. Using it in early Europe for anti-ship mission. Had to install a sight, but it flew great from the get go. Nice work! Thanks
  4. The EAF F-16s use Sky, Fahd, Viper, Falcon, Sniper, Tiger, and Silver. -S
  5. I've seen this bahavior in scale modelers also. Because they've studied a certain aircraft for a project, I've seen and heard them ask some off the wall questions to crews/pilots at airshows. While they've tried to politely answer it in the best way they could, the "Are you F-ing kidding me?" look was also given.
  6. The Russians are over in the US for the Open Skies and START Treaties. It was most likely a Tu-154. A-Net photo: http://www.airliners.net/photo/Yuri-A-Gagarin/Tupolev-Tu-154M-LK-1/1427635/L/
  7. BS. They were using the onboard wireless server to play WoW
  8. You have the prototype AT-6B headed your way from Beech Field. Flightaware has it landing around 1630EST.
  9. The Block 40/42 were known as the F-16CG/DG and were tasked with precision strike. The Block 50/52 were the F-16CJ/DJ and had the SEAD/DEAD mission. Now, after the Common Configuration Implementation Program (CCIP) updates to Blk40-52 F-16s, they are all listed as F-16CM/DM. CCIP is very similiar to the European MLU upgrade. Color displays, Link-16, etc. One of the highlights was giving the Blk50/52 the ability to carry out precision strike, along with SEAD by allowing the HTS pod to be carried with the SNIPER/LITENING on the chin stations. The HTS was moved to the left.
  10. The ANG F-16s have been carrying the TARS pod for some time now. Here is a list of the units that are assigned the mission: 192nd FW Richmond, VA 149th FS 127th W Selfridge ANGB, MI 107th FS 181st FW Terre Haute, ID 113th FS 113th FW Andrews AFB,MD 121st FS 185th FW Sioux City, IA 174th FS The pod is carried on the centerline station. I've seen it with and without the LITENING pod. But it did carry as a minimum, a pair of GBU-38/12, plus wing tanks and a pair of AIM-9s on the tip stations. It was paired with another F-16 who carried a larger bomb load and targeting pod. -S
  11. KB, your work on the radars and the CM pods freq/bands sounds like an interesting mod. As soon as I finish the Unicode updates, I may try this myself. I just came back from 2 weeks in Cairo. Had a blast refueling the EAF. Wish their Phantoms would have showed up though. -Jeff

I was at the 1988 Moffett airshow also. That always was a great show. Thanks for posting some images to bring back some fun memories.
  14. WoI and FE. Still getting my SF2E tweaked with the Unicode.

We spent the last couple of days in Cairo at the open air market. The other tourists were taking all kinds of photos, as were we. But I jumped into several and "photo bombed" them. It's so funny. Better back in the days of film. "Who the hell is that guy?"
  16. Bravo!
  17. Having just spent the last 2 1/2 weeks in Egypt, this date was on my mind as well. S!
  18. Good to see the Valk still in development. Florian, that Transall is awesome!

    holy moly!

That's getting your point across with style!
  20. Nice video. Great action and scene swapping. Thanks for posting.
  21. I played EAW for years and sad when I couldn't run it on newer computers. Now, I don't even have a copy. It's great to see that it's still going strong and being updated as much as can be. Maybe it's time to revisit? Where can disks be found nowadays? eBay?
  22. Dels, Your work is always top notch and very appreciated. Thanks for the latest goodies! -Jeff
  23. Guys, I understand that this is important to you, but in the big picture, it is something that can be fixed with one minor text edit. As was said, it may or may not be fixed in a larger patch. There are more things that needs to be fixed from day 1. But it is nice to get the correct spelling. -S
  24. Impressive, isn't it? Nice change from seeing a C-5 or C-17. Makes any aviation buff smile.
  25. Congrats Nesher! Well done.
