https://archive.org/details/Stukas1941 All sides had had their war time propaganda movies. "Stukas" is a german one. It is the story of pilots of a Stuka Group during Battle of France. The plot is flat like a table, but in the movie original film material from real combat is included. Embeded journalism is not an invention of the US forces during Gulf War, it was done by german Kriegsberichterstatter (war time journalist wich were part of the forces). The movie is in german language with english subtitles.

RAF Brize Norton. Today the biggest base of the RAF it was in time of Battle of Britain a place for the Flying Training School. A Squadron of Blenheim Bombers used Brize Norton at this time too. During WW2 the base was widely enlarged and got runways made by concrete.

Nice. But i would suggest the name Lincoln Squadron. The american International Battalion in Spanish Civil war was named "Lincoln Battallion". It was part of the XV. International Brigade "Abraham Lincoln" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lincoln_Battalion

Thanks for sharing this info. I will check it out as soon as possible. Sit rep: RAF Odiham, an airfield of the Bomber Command is nearly finished. Flak and some small building are missing.

RAF Stapleford Tawney, a small satellite airfield for RAF North Weald. Inside the camouflaged C-Type Hangar, made by Sundowner, you can sometimes find parked airplanes.

RAF Thorney Island. Now located at the correct point of the map. Its a try to use a different tile for the airfield than the stock airfield tiles. So the airfield looks more camouflaged. Heavy flak fire over Thorney Island From distance the airfield is difficult to see.

WIP screenshot. RAF Thorney Island in a very early phase. The grass runway is layed out. The C-Type Hangars are placed at position i got from the Google Earth image. BTW the new camouflaged C-Type Hangars, made by Sundowner, are difficult to see on the screenshot. Thanks a lot, Sundowner! The Hangars are great!

Thanks for correction. I have renamed the airbase now to RAF Martlesham Heath.

RAF Martlesham I was unable to find an air footage of the airfield in 1940. Only a very bad one from 1946. RAF Martlesham was used from 1943 by the americans and got long crossing runways. So the position of buildings at my RAF Martlesham is only a guess.
