i would like to point out that you are now one of the modders on this site, where upon when i (and likely others) see you've posted within the Mods and Skinning threads, i think "oooooh, whats he got going on now?"

hold the f^@& up .... are you giving up on hope?
-
tv sets expectations waaaay too high on just what can be done. take us skinners: how many now laugh their tails off when a character "zooms in" and gets a crystal clear image of the license plate or villians face? if it was that simple i wouldnt spend hours hunting down LARGE (i mean HUGE) pics of nose art and unit patches, and even more hours scratch building images from best looks at the small pictures. you dont lose as much detail scaling down as scaling up my friends and thats a super common skill. the coding would be quite abit more work, even with source code...... for the few that really know how
-
this day i hope.... to bump this thread up. transport missions and non "bomb" cargo items would still be nice too
-
does it work stock setting (space bar)?
-
who was the cat that had a thread about trimming his aircraft folder? had like one folder with damn near every plane ever released? including the multiple versions (the old B-58 AND v2k's newer one for example) he could tell us the limit..........
-
awesome, your weathering or did the original come like that? more mandatory screenies from todays theme (now in a more appropriate setting)
-
ok, how'd you get the Airbus to fly doors open, presuming it to be AI? mandatory screenie, or just another day at the DA labs
-

-

ummmmmm........ i think your definition of snowflake and mine are just a little different i would more compare " they didnt leave the helicopters in working order" to "my cat wont eat vegan and ate a squirrel" than to "how dare they, kill them all". stupid whining, that even the al jazeera journalist that was with them in the hangar turned around and said "really?" -
but no this evidently isnt satire. who knew islamist/terrorist organizations had snowflakes that dont know how the world works too? https://www.foxnews.com/world/taliban-fighters-helicopters-kabul-airport-afghanistan?fbclid=IwAR1__RwraCxy4nGx7A5WvTLM8Si_t6kcolqhczRRetsLOvKr7XbP2f9bjRw

well the Hercules and the Hips shouldnt be too hard to keep using actually, given they are everywhere for ability to fly, the Little Birds, Tucanos and Cessnas were given to the Afghans because they are simple to maintain. also not uncommon aircraft to get parts for for avionics and ability to effectively (and accurately) fight, yeah i think it will mostly break down within the year on the Humvees and tracks however, half will be NMC by end of month, the rest by Halloween. im laughing my ass on on those tho satire, sums it all up quite well. https://www.duffelblog.com/p/taliban-cant-believe-they-actually?r=kw68&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&utm_source=twitter especially the last line

you really need to check out the WorldWar series by Harry Turtledove first four books cover an alien invasion during World War 2. per the recon drones they sent and had radio back, they were expecting mediaval knights. second part covers the peace in the 1960s, just as the colonization ships start arriving. and yes, its amazing to see what people do with the alien tech they had captured two decades ago or bought/stolen/traded for in the years since final book sees humanity matching then overtaking the aliens within the same book (technically 20 year span, though only a couple are really covered) only distinct spoiler is the alien races shock to see a human spacecraft over their homeworld. armed with nukes "for self defense"
-
meh, i have subscribed to the belief for years that we are not in fact alone we are just the neighborhood the aliens roll the windows up and lock the doors as they pass through
-
@Geary you are still the man when it came to metal skins and doing teh panel lines and rivets on the old Starlifters trying to match you on it, dont know how you had the patience to do it (even with the cheat templates i made to work with rivets) still placing rivets.....
-
that was a final missed oppurtunity. the -22 better fit the requirements of the competition, the -23 better fit the wars of teh last 20 years, as well as the pivot to China.
