  1. blasphemy! heresy! ini editing is the purest form of witchcraft in SF2, with flight models being mastery of the darkest arts
  2. well dammit Jim, im a sticker maker not a writer i very well know i can stick stuff on a mesh. i just wondered if anyone had decalled a landing gear strut before, or if i was the first. next one to tell me i can do it gets the dead parrot sketch posted
  3. oh its not. i was just wondering IF anyone had done it before discovered the 28th Bomb Wing had a South Dakota outline with the crew cheifs names inside on the doors, numbers were on the struts figured that one out AFTER dialing in the 319ths nose door numbers. its always something.....
  4. first one done to get some folks howling
  5. im just curious, has anyone ever serial numbered the landing gears before?
  6. i've emailed myself a document with all the serial numbers of the major electronics, and update about every 6 months. that way even if everything is lost, i still have the serials for police or insurance use.
  7. i will also mention that there are alot of mods of the BUFF in the download section, as was asked earlier what are you looking to change?
  8. that is fucked up. do you have the s/n info somewhere so maybe the cops can keep track on the local pawn shops?
  9. from research on nukes, the store train on the Vigi wasnt too reliable in tests, and the Navy lost its manned bomber strategic mission when Kennedy took office (the President preferring ballistic missiles to bombers) if ya gotta have nukes, i'd mount underwing and use the internal tanks for gas. is this for the FA-5C by chance
  10. Let the broken hearts stand As the price you've gotta pay We'll keep pushin' till it's understood
  11. somebody mentioned FC was a Dyess guy, and we got that, along with Kansas. Grand Forks and the Black Hills in progress How long to the point of no return ok, heres the fork stuck done for today
  12. hug the dirt. works against most everything except AMRAAM. or the lucky peasant farmer with grand dads shot gun
  13. iirc you gotta have at least Vietnam as well, and NA would be better (or both) beyond that, just look at other Naval centered campaigns as a guide on how to work CVBGs in and yes, talk to Wrench. the ancient one knows a thing or two, cause he's modded a thing or two
  14. ah good now we're dealing with proper villians. cats in Balad 2005 were sellin us bootleg goods to buy mortar rounds so they could get paid by the death to America crowd. but at least they usually aim too good, seeing as we were good customers and all
  15. ok thanks. mine was a large book, not magazine series. the format looked the exact same though
  16. curious Frenchie, what book? looks like one i had years ago but en français
  17. that will be fixed soon, at least through the early 90s woulda had alot of progress this week but hip and leg threw me under the bus (and into a pothole, and off the cliff) will have decal templates for those that wanna carry it on past the mid 90s
  18. buhbuhbuh.... blown up before i could get a tamale. you bastard!
  19. you know, this would have been a good way to bring Phoenix capable aircraft to the Midways, which were unable to handle Tomcats (they got many Hornet squadrons IRL)
  20. well, now thats a long list lookin forward to the JetRanger and Hind, me thinks the other Kevin has been wanting some new P-47s for a while now
  21. i recall there being a speech pack that had different callsigns (at least in other languages, possibly others in english as well). look thru JonathanRL's files as there may be some in his TSF mods, as well some seperate released speech pack (iirc, busy day and reading this on a brief break) it can be done and changing text is easy. the hard part iirc is creating the voice wav's for the desired text, and linking it to the game.
