F4F-3 Wildcat Skin, VMF-211, Ewa HI, for SF/WoV/WoE PTO installs
 
-Yet another "Pearl Harbor Defender"
(well, almost -- they were all on the ground at the time....)
 
This skin represents VMF-211 as based at MCAS Ewa, Territority of Hawaii, approximatly December, 1941.
 
Information I've found in my researches seem to indicate that not all of 211' s aircraft were sent to Wake Island prior
to the Pearl Harbor Attack. So, I offer this skin.
 
The paint job is still the pre-war non-specular gray, sometimes called "Neutrality Gray", as photographic evidence,
and some references exist that point to the USMC not yet having applied the non-spec blue to the upper surfaces.
Decals represent the standard type as seen on Naval/Marine aircraft of the time, and include BuNums and aircraft
type on the tail.
 
--NOTE: this mod is designed for use ONLY on the F4F-3 Wildcat mod I released some ago; NOT for the F4F-4. Totally different aircraft--

Ki-43, Early War Skin and Ini Update Pak For SF/WoV/WoE PTO Installs
 
This is a partial re-skin, and ini update package for ArmorDave's Ki-43 Oscar. IMPORTANT: this is NOT for the Oscar from Wolf257's WW2 Planes Pak -- it is ONLY for the Oscar released by ArmorDave in his "Japanese Planes Pak" that contains the Zeke, Betty and this early model Oscar.
 
The skin represents 11 Sentai, 1st Chutai during the opening months of the war, as seen and used in Southeast Asia, Netherlands East Indies, Malaya, etc region. Decals and instructions are provided below in the "To Create the Additional Chutias" will allow you to also recreate the 2nd & 3rd Chutais, effectively giving you the entire Fighter Regiment. I say this is a 'partial reskin', as I only created layers in a new template to remove ONLY those items necesary for this mod.
 
Also included is an updated textureset.ini for the original 'camo' skin, giving it the corrected Sentai/Chutai names.
 
New, updated inis include some small renaming in the main ini (to help diferentiate this early model Ki-43-Ia from Wolfs and other Oscar mods by me), data ini with additional and corrected lighting, and the cockpit ini with a new gunsight tga.
The Flight Model remains untouched!

Here is an alternative texture for my No. 1 sqdn Hurricane package. Many sources quote the underside Duck Egg Blue color as having a distint greenish tint. Both A and B schemes are presented here - the A scheme in the post-August 1940 period with the smaller fin flashes and larger underwing roundels.

Here is an X52 profile for WoE.
 
It contains both the profile for the Saitek Profiler software and the customized control setup for WoE.
 
Put the Saitek profile in you Saitek SD6 Profiles folder and select it as the active profile.
 
Put the WoE custom control profile in your \Wings Over Europe\Controls folder and select it in the options menu.
 
All done.

These markings are intended for Capun's Hurricane I as installed in Baltika's Battle of Britain SFP1 campaign. Back up your original files if you wish, then add these files to the "1" folder. There are still a few texture mapping issues, but all-in-all it looks like a Hurricane to me.
 
I take little credit for the textures - they are mostly borrrowed from the best that I found on the Internet, I just adapted them to the model. Thanks go to "Stag", Gramps, Baltika, Wrench, and anyone else I forgot that deserves the real credit.
 
Legal bit:
Since these textures are hardly my original work, please don't use them for any commercial purposes - they are for free to increase the enjoyment of the Battle of Britain campaign. The .TGA decals are mine, so do what you want with them.
 
Historical bit:
No. 1 Squadron of the RAF equipped with Hurricane I aircraft in 1938. The original "NA" codes were replaced by "JX" in September 1939. After operations during the Battle of France, the unit was relocated back to Tangmere 23 June 1940 where it operated under 11 Group, entering combat during the Battle of Britain from August 1940.On 09 September the squadron was withdrawn to RAF Wittering under 12 Group to rest, recuperate and refit.

This is a minor tweak I made to Fubar512's excellent illuminated tracer effect.

Simply add this tga file (along with the "illuminated tracer file") to the EFFECTS
folder.
 
The result should give the smoke rings a smoother, rounder appearance vs. the
blocky appearance without it.

How to install:
 
For make intallation easy, i created 4 separated INI:
 
1) New weapons,
2) My_Updated_weapons ( Weapons existing in part 1 & 2 & 3, updated in Part4)
3) Bunyap_Updated_weapons (9M17P for exp.) - additional versions existing weapons & corrected ini for existing weapons
4) Others_Updated_weapons (KAB-500KR);
 
To install:
 
1) Open weapondata.ini -> Open Bunyap updated weapons.ini -> change weapons data by new.
 
2) If You have my weaponpack parts 1&2&3 -> open weapondata.ini -> open My_Updated_weapons.ini -> change weapons data by new.
 
If you not have weaponpack parts 1&2&3 -> Open weaponeditor-> open weapondata.ini -> merge with My_Updated_weapons.ini
 
3) Open weaponeditor-> open weapondata.ini -> merge with New weapons.ini
 
ALWAYS USE NEW DATA!!!
 
Planes_INI folder contains data ini for some planes which can use my weapons.

This is a fix for the Mirage 2000D flight model.
The aircraft no longer pitches up or down when you move the stick to the left or right on hard flight model mode
 
Instructions
just drop into your Mirage 200D folder and let it overright
for the mirage 2000N just rename the data ini to Mirage_2000N.ini and paste it in the Mirage 2000N folder (letting it overright)

MiG-21MF Flight Model V1208
 
This represents a minor tweak of the default ThirdWire MiG-21MF flight model. I've found the lastest version to be quite accepatable as an AI-only model, and therefore limited any changes to areas that were just a tad-short on realism from a player's perspective.
 
A big "Thank You" goes out to Jug, for providing feedback and helping me debug the FM.
