    3. EAF F-4E Phantom II

EAF F-4E Phantom II for WoI

This is a conversion of the stock WoI F-4E Phantom II into those being used by the Egyptian Air Force. Included is the Hi-Rez EAF skin by Sundowner; his original read me is in the skin folder -- please read it! The package ONLY includes the Sundowner skin, and a few inis needed to run, as everything 'stock' is reused. A new WoI style Hangar screen is included, as is a WoE style for those wishing to install this mod into another version of the series.

This mod makes use of all stock items, with the excpetion of some additional 'nationalized' weapons, based on USAF ones, as used by the EAF -- so you WILL be using the Weapons Editor!!!

This mod is designed for use in WoI; it's probably usable in any of the other games (SF/WoV/WoE), as it's using all standard in-every-game-items, but this has NOT been tested, but shouldn't create any difficulties to install.

It is designed to be used with the Mirage Factory's Weapons Pak. If you are using another (such as the Bunyap Pak), please double check before adding any of the new weapons, as they may already exist.

==YOU MUST HAVE THE WOI WEAPONS EDITOR==

PLEASE read the enclosed readme for futher instructions!!!

      Happy Landings!

    8. WoI MiG-17PF Fresco D Pak

      EAF MiG-17PF Fresco-D for WoI

This is an almost complete rebuild of Madcaddie's MiG-17PF 'Fresco-D' limited all-weather, radar equipped interceptor, as used by the Egyptian (and by inference, the Syrian Air Force) during the late 1950s, through the late 1970s. The Flight Model parameters themselves have been copied directly from the latest Fresco-C's (WoI), so they are the most current. This aircraft is NOT equiped with missiles or rocket paks, it's a simple guns-only radar equipped version as used by the EAF. Included is an 'interception procedures.txt', that gives you instructions on how to read the radar scope, as it's very short ranged.

There is also a completly new skin, created from a new template, made by me, based off the original 3rdW units. I've resized it up to 1024x1024, with completly redrawn rivet and panel lines. Also included is a revamped "M17PF.bmp" for the nose radar bubble, also resized and repainted, that matches as close as possible, the camo pattern of the fuselage. I've even given you my 'Early Russian Pilot' - PilotER, to use.

This is a COMPLETE package, including a modified version of Paladrain's 21MF cockpit, 'downgraded' for use in this aircraft. All inis, skin bmps, cockpit bits, and a new WoI style hangar screen are included. It is designed to be used ONLY in WoI, with the Mirage Factory Weapons Pak. (although it CAN be used in WoI with the bunyap pak)

You =WILL= be using the weapons editor to add the 'radar nose bubble'.

==YOU MUST HAVE THE WOI WEAPONS EDITOR==

PLEASE read the enclosed readme for more, detailed install istructions

    9. Rebuild of Gepard's Isreal 2 for WoI

Isreal 2 Terrain Upgrade for WoI

This is an extensive expansion of Gepard's "Isreal 2" full-scale map he made several years ago for SF/WoE/WoV. What this will do, is allow its usage in WoI (or any of the other games, for that matter), with a massive expansion of the target areas. Several new items have been added to the types ini, allowing the 1948-1967 timeframe for Historical missions and Campaigns in the Middle East region. This is NOT the full terrain, just a small package of inis, a few new objects, and some tiles for use with Polak's Desert Tile set (see "Notes" below for more information). Updated planning maps have been included, based off Gepard's originals.

It has been extensively upgraded, with new movement, targets and types ins. Water effects are active, so Vista users take note...more information for you is below in the Install Instructions. See "Notes for Vista Users" below.

It is reccomended (read: REQUIRED) that you have Pasko's SAMs and Vehicles Pak installed in your GroundObject folder; expecially the Desert skinned vehicles, plus any additional vehicles such as Kesselbrut's ZIL truck pak, Infantry paks, Moonjumper's fix for the BM-14-16 (adds working Kytusha rockets) and any other SAMS or AAA, vehicles or whatever strikes your fancy.

It is designed to use either the Bunyap or Mirage Factory Weapons Pak; some of the names for the IDF air defenses (ie: the HAWKs and their associated radars) and their 'arranements', are taken from Nick Bell's 'NATO Air Defense Mod'; these are the names used for the 2 HAWK radars. In addition, I've included 2 new Infantry units - one generic Arab and one IDF, based off Kesselbrut's 'Infanty Squads'. I've replaced the RPG/LAW with an automatic rifle. I've also given you my fully updated gundata.ini and gundata.dat files, which have all the needed guns.

As stated above, it is =specifically= designed for use with Wings Over Isreal. It has -also- been tested in SF, WoE and WoV;.expecting the fact the WoV users will need to get a new tile set. See "Notes for WoI Users With Only WoV" below.

---You MUST have Gepard's Isreal2 terrain already installed for this to work -- it it NOT a full terrain--

So, like I always say....read the readme...it has everything you need to know! Also, the extensive notes section for more, in-depth explinations and guidence.

      Happy Hunting!

      IMPORTANT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

You MUST follow these steps to properly install NATO Fighers II.

    19. F-4ES Super Phantom II

      F-4ES Super Phantom II
This is a representation of the Super Phantom being worked on at the end of the Phantom era. It was an attempt to extend the life of this jet, but was scrapped because of the F-14 Tomcat becoming operational.

      ======================

      1. This mod is an addon jet, known as the F-4ES. I used Jennifer's F-4E IDF and Marc Silva's F-4E 2000 data files, adding some of the latest mods such as open canopy and landing lights.

      2. NationName is changed back to USAF.

      3. Chaff/Flares/Jammer added. Note that F-4Es delivered to Israel before the Yom Kippur War did not have countermeasures installed. During the War, replacement F-4Es from US stocks came with their ECM equipment. Some IDF Phantoms were also upgraded during the conflict.

      4. The skin the base USAF camo skin is the stock SFP1 skin. It takes any F-4E skin.

      5. Canopy fix by "The Wrench".

      6. Uprated J79-GE-10B engines, which also featured improvements to eliminate the tendency of the J79 to leave behind a dirty smoke trail, which had proven a liability in combat.

      7. Loading and Loadout screens were done by Doghouse.

      8. The Loadout file is the one done by SuperCharger and Doghouse as the coop mod used in multiplay. It uses stock weapons and is totally Multiplay safe.
However, this addon jet is not unless the other players have it as well.

9: The landing lights mod by dfang and Russo has been included and is already installed.

10: New radar includes a terrain avoidance radar as well.

11 This aircraft takes a little longer to load up in the game. Be patient, it's well worth the extra few seconds.

12 Please don't credit me with this aircraft. I've done nothing but to have taken all the various mods and work of others, put it all together and repackaged the product. If you want to credit anyone, credit those I've mentioned above. And to those of you who I've neglected to mention, please accept my apologies, it wasn't intentional. Also, anyone wanting to mod this work further go right ahead. Don't bother asking permission because it's already given. I give this jet to the SFP1/WOV/WOE/WOI cmmunity to play with and have fun, it now belongs to you.

      Updated

    21. Attrition War 67-73 VERSION 1.1

      *Version 1.1*
This update lowers the intensity level from Version 1.0. Only enemy squadrons located nearest the border will be assigned missions. Supply has also been reduced for friendly and enemy squadrons. As a result, fewer enemy aircraft should appear in the air, better reflecting the limited nature of the historical conflict. Make no mistake, occasionally the campaign engine will generate large aerial engagements; this is historical, as well.

Some base assignments have also been altered to better reflect historical positioning. In particular, IAF 101 Squadron has been moved to Bir Gafgafa on the Sinai Peninsula. The IAF maintained a Mirage detachment there throughout the Attrition War period; expect plenty of action along the Suez Canal.

      *The Campaign*
This campaign depicts the situation in the Middle East as it stood between June 1967 and October 1973. Based on the stock WOI Yom Kippur campaign, it begins in July 1967 and ends in September 1973. When combined with “War for the Water” and “Golan Stalemate,” the player can begin in 1963 and fly a continuous nineteen-year IAF career.

There will be no all-out air offensive; this is a long, limited conflict. Ground offensive has been disabled, so borders remain static. Supply is minimal, restricting the number of aircraft in the sky. Mission mix includes routine patrols punctuated by occasional strike missions into enemy territory. You may fly a maximum of fifty missions, roughly one every forty-five days.

IAF fighter and strike squadrons start out with their historical aircraft, entering the campaign at the time they were activated. Some squadrons will upgrade both their livery and their aircraft type during the course of the campaign.

The Soviets also make appearances in 1970 and 1971.

*Unit Start Guide and Upgrade Path*
      -- 69 Squadron (1969): F-4E Kurnass (no upgrade)
-- 101 Squadron (1967): Mirage III C Shahak (no upgrade)

    22. Golan Stalemate 74-82 Version 1.1

      *The Campaign*
This campaign depicts rising tensions between Israel and Syria from 1974 through 1982. Based on the stock WOI Lebanon War campaign, it begins in April 1974 and ends in May 1982. Played in sequence with the stock WOI campaigns, “Golan Stalemate” allows for a continuous career from the start of the Yom Kippur War to the end of the Lebanon War. When combined with “Attrition War” and "War for the Water," the player can begin in 1963 and fly a continuous nineteen-year IAF career.

There will be no all-out air offensive; “Golan Stalemate” is a long, limited conflict. You will face Syrian aircraft in and around the Golan Heights and Lebanon. Ground offensive has been disabled, so borders remain static. Supply is minimal, restricting the number of aircraft in the sky. Mission mix includes routine patrols punctuated by occasional strike missions into enemy territory. You may fly a maximum of thirty-six missions, roughly one every ninety days.

IAF fighter and strike squadrons start out with their historical aircraft, entering the campaign at the time they were activated. Some squadrons will upgrade both their livery and their aircraft type during the course of the campaign.

    23. Armed UH-1H

ITS only a Beta vers. IT dont have a pit.

I have changed the ini's so all you need is to download the UH-34 Seabat and Copy/paste the Cockpit folder and the UH-34_COCKPIT.ini
from that chopper. REMEMBER both files and dont remame the ini.

Also install the weapons that came with UH-34 Seabat and you have a nice armed UH-1H.

Thanks to MontyCZ for creating this. And for his permission to upload this bird

    25. War for the Waters 63-67 VERSION 1.1

      *The Campaign*
This campaign depicts intermittent border clashes that flared between Israel, Syria, Jordan, and Egypt from 1963 through 1967. These disputes began with disagreements over water rights in the region, slowly escalating into the Six Day War. Based on the stock WOI Six Day War campaign, “War for the Water” begins in August 1963 and ends in May 1967.

Think of this campaign as a short prelude to the Six Day War. There will be no all-out air offensive; “War for the Water” is a limited conflict. You will face Syrian and Jordanian aircraft in and around the Golan Heights. There might be encounters with Egyptian aircraft near the Sinai Peninsula, as well. Ground offensive has been disabled, so borders remain static. Supply is minimal, restricting the number of aircraft in the sky.

Mission mix includes routine patrols punctuated by occasional armed recon missions into enemy territory. You may fly a maximum of twelve missions, roughly one every hundred and twenty days. Played in sequence with the stock WOI campaigns, and combined with “Attrition War” and “Golan Stalemate,” the player can begin in 1963 and fly a continuous nineteen-year IAF career.
