    1. S-125 Neva. 5P71 & 5P73 Launchers.

      5P71 and 5P73 launchers for S-125 surface to air missiles for SF2 series game. This is mostly eye candy stuff. Just to improve the visual side of the game.
      Required weapon to run this mod is provided. In this case 5W24 and 5W27 surface to air missiles. 
      In this pack, you will find new objects for SA-3 launchers.  But no worries nothing needs to be overwritten. 
      Basic modding skills are required to run this mod.  (copy/paste, mod folder structure etc.) 
      Mostly this mod is for modders, terrain builders.
      Sam launchers are set to network type S-125 and S-125M. So make sure your radars are compatible. Otherwise, the radar family/network type needs to be adjusted and associated with your other SAM objects. SA-3 /S-125 family in this case.
      All ini files are beta....mostly to make the object working.
      I'm hoping someone will do correct ini edits. Only if there are still some modders around here.....
      So do not complain if something is not working- just edit your way. You have working lod and skins...
      Missiles perhaps need some more editing also. But
      Again this is a very basic mod and I am aware (so you should be also) that ini files should be edited further. 
       
      Basic skins green and tan. 
      All skins are in 2048x2048 format. So you have to resize for your own preferred size.
      So play with it, and hope someone will do better ini for this.

      The transport variant is for apearing in Armed Recon Missiao and will not fire. Its only for bombing from highs)

    7. HQ-9 Self Propelled Air Defence System

      HQ-9 Self Propelled Air Defence System
      The FD-2000/HQ-9 was developed to provide a long range SAM capability, distinct from the medium range capabilities of the HQ-12/KS-1 series. The FT-2000 is a derivative which is fitted with an anti-radiation seeker and intended for engagements against AEW&C/AWACS and stand-off jamming aircraft.
      The HQ-9 is supported by the HT-233 phased array engagement radar, like the H-200 modelled on the MPQ-53 and 30N6E designs, carried on a Taian  TAS5501 series 10 x 10 high mobility vehicle, common to the HQ-9 TEL and similar in design to the S-400's BAZ-6900 series vehicle. Chinese sources claim C-band operation with 300 MHz receiver/antenna bandwidth, detection and tracking range of 150/100 km, and monopulse angle tracking to resist jamming. The design bears considerable similarity to the 30N6E series, especially in the antenna design.
      Recently disclosed imagery shows the use of the  self-propelled Type 305A, Type 305B and Type 120 radars as  the battery acquisition  radar component. The designation FD-2000 is for export configurations of the HQ-9.

    11. PZH-2000

      I present to you Panzerhaubitze 2000 a model for 21st century warfare.
      I can't remember where I found the Max file, I hope you won't mind me, if anyone still has something against it, let me know.
      I was free to render the original file because the old one was not at the right scale.
      The skin is not complete, if someone wants, they can modify them, with data, too as desired.
      Also, I can send the Max file, whoever wants it, cheers.

    12. Cold East Ground Objects Bonanza Vol.2


      The second part of Cold East Ground Objects Bonanza mods for the SF2 series game.
      First of all. This is not entirely a 'Plug and Play' mod.
      Yes, some objects will appear in the game right away, but some will not - because some objects are meant to be used via the target editor. 
      In general, the whole mod is built for terrain enhancement - a lot of objects should be added in terrain TYPES and TARGETS. But of course, some like tanks, SAMs, AAA, etc will appear automatically in the game.
      Having this in mind this mod is mostly for terrain builders, modders,, and experienced users. If you are hoping for quick-click plug-and-play - this is not for you. 
      All objects have destroyed models added.
      Gun files should be taken carefully - they are slightly modified by guuruu with decreased performance. 
      I believe all the gun files are provided and you should have them already, if I forgot something - well it happens sometimes. Sorry for that.

      Part two contains mostly air-to-air defenses.
      SA-2, SA-3, SA-9, SA-8B, SA-13, SA-7.
      Again those SAMs are not really plug-and-play mods. 
      I have made them in groups (SA-2A, SA-2B, SA-3, etc...) each group contains EWR, SAM_RADAR, and SAM_LAUNCHER.
      It is up to the player to pick and choose the desired system for a specific mod, terrain, etc.
      all except SA-2 use new weapon models. SA-2 uses an older model that was available for years already. (for now, I have no patience to finish my models)
      All objects have destroyed models added.
      Gun files should be taken carefully - they are slightly modified by guuruu with decreased performance. 
      All of the skins are green, I added a few camo versions and a few extra but just for specific objects. NO Tan/Desret scheme. This might come in a more specific mod for specific terrains in the future.
      Userlist ini files are just there but they might need editing for your own use.
      If you have similar models from me - released years ago - do not mix them up. I recommend deleting all old files.  Here you will find new updated models.
      Under any circumstances DO NOT mix these objects with ODS 30Aniversary Edition mod. ODS30AE objects are exclusive for ODS and differ in many ways from Cold East Ground Objects Bonanza.

    14. Smaller tracer dots

      This mod will downscale the size of bullets to 1/4 of the original, making a more authentic and "Jane's series" feel.

      Please note a tracer is released between every 5 bullets by defualt. If you want to see more tracer, open the DATA.ini file of an aircraft or ground object, find the {internalgun} or [gun] section, then type.

    15. Alternative Armour Pack

      Alternative Armour Pack
       
      This armour pack is my humble attempt to make ground war somewhat more "accurate". It's been created with SF2:E/NF4+ in mind, but it should be easy to adapt it to other mods/installs. Several "new" tanks have been created, but due to my lack of modelling skills they're only ini edits. Other tanks (both TW and community ones) have been tweaked.
       
      "New" stuff:
       
      - Chieftain mk2, mk5 & mk11 (edited stock Centurions);
      - 120MM L11 gun for Chieftain, parameters optimized for the L15 APDS round;
      - Leopard 1 (edited stock Leopard 1A1);
      - M1 IP (edited M1 Abrams from NF4+);
      - M60A1 AOS (edited stock M60A1);
      - M60A3 (edited Pasko's & Kesselbrut's M60A3)
      - T-80B (edited T-80BV by SWS, BPAo, Fubar512 & 331Killerbee)
       
      Modified stuff:
       
      - 120MM L44 customized for '80s M829 APFSDS round);
      - Centurions (mk5,6,8,10,13), Leopard (1A1-1A5), Leopard 2A4, M1, M1A1, M48 (A2 & A3), M60A1, T-54, T-55, T-62A, T-72A, T-80BV;
       
      Modifications inlclude following changes/corrections:
       
      - tank's weight;
      - armor values have been changed to RHA equivalents against Kinetic Energy rounds. Angled plates have been taken into account whenever possible. Late tanks (T-72, T-80, Abrams, Leo 2) armor RHA values have been greatly influenced by data presented in "Armor Basics" created by Paul Lasowski & included in Steel Beasts;
      - number of gun rounds carried;
      - presence (or lack thereof) of nightsight, gun stabilization;
      - rangefinder & ballistic computer values;
      - service entry dates.
       
      I "hope" all this changes enhance accuracy but please bear in mind that:
       
      - SF series is about flying and the ground war aspect is kind off limited;
      - I'm no guru, I pulled the data from the Internet, therefore it might not be actually accurate, lol;
      - there's no easy way to calculate RHA values, info on the net can vary significantly from source to source; if you have some good/reliable literature where these are well/reliably documented for many cold war tanks and their variants/sub-types you're welcome to share ;)
       
      If you find any bugs/errors, please let me know so I can correct it.
       
      INSTALLATION:
       
      Back up your stuff first, so you can revert changes if you don't like them! Unzip archive and copy Objects folder to your mod directory (usually "C:\Users\Username\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2 Europe\" when using Vista/7). If you want M60A3 & T-80B\BV to show up you'll need to download them from CA (I didn't include lod files or textures). M60A3 is included in US Armour Pack, T-80BV is, well T-80BV. For T-80B copy T-80BV lod files into it's directory. If you don't have NF4+ installed you'll have to get the M1 Abrams from the US Armour Pack as well. And obviously if you want all the "new" stuff to show up in a campaign, you'll have to modify campaign data file. For starters I suggest replacing British Division's Leos with Chieftains in 1979 & 1986 campaigns.

      This exhaust effect was inspired by the work of Deuces, Fubar512 and Spillone104.
       
      This exhaust effect is compatible with both SF2 and SFP1.
       
      This New Dirty Exhaust Effects package includes a NewDirtyExhaustEmitter.ini which can be used to supplement the old DirtyExhaustEmitter.ini in your Effects folder for some additional exhaust effect variety.
       
      The New Dirty Exhaust Effect will generate a longer and less dense exhaust plume than the Dirty Bird Exhaust Effect.
       
      The New Dirty Exhaust Effect is configured so that it may be used in either single engine or multiple engine aircraft. The DirtySingleExhaustEmitter will produce slightly less exhaust volume than the DirtyDualExhaustEmitter when used on a dual engine aircraft if you want to decrease the volume of smoke signature for your multi-engine models.
       
      If you wish to have a slightly more smokey single engine aircraft, you could utilize the DirtyDualExhaustEmitter in a single engine aircraft.
       
       
       
      You can easily choose between the two effects to get whatever exhaust smoke trails happen to suit you!
       
      Both of these exhaust effects can be applied to single, dual or multi-engined aircraft models.
       
      This File is Freeware and can not be sold or included in any Payware software.

      A few more pieces of equipment, to place around airfields or bases, or other 'locations of interest'. The items are:

      It should be noted at this time, these are NOT GroundObjects, like the yellow fuel truck recently released, but TERRAIN objects, that will need hand placement on your terrain of choice. Instructions are below in the "To Add To A Terrain" section.

      The purpose of this add-on effect mod is to improve the graphic of wingtip vortex in Strike Fighter 2. I have noticed that wingtip vortex, by default, looks bit unrealistic. So I have decided to improve these, inspired by modders from Combat Ace community, especially by Wrench and Stary. I am very thankful for this wonderful community and I am more than proud to be part of Combat Ace commmunity sharing my hobbies within Strike Fighter 2.       INSTALL INSTRUCTION:
       
      1) MAKE SURE YOU back up your EFFECT folder!
       
      2) Extract this file using winrar or 7zip tools and you will see a folder called "Improved Wingtip Vortex v1.0"
       
      3) There are two folders with types of wingtip vortex:
       
      - Straight trails Version = new wingtip vortex effect with straight trails
      - Shakey trails Version = new wingtip vortex effect with shakey trails
       
      You can only pick ONE of these two folders, you can't have both at the same time. You can try one of these two version first. Then try other and see which one you like the best. However, inside these folder you will see "Effect" folder, drop them in your strike fighter 2 mod folder and overwrite when asked.
       
      4) ENJOY!

      Known BUGS/Problem:
       
      Shakey version of wingtip vortex trails disappears at specific angle when you view them, this is due to nature of 2D. I have tried creating 3D volumetric version of wingtrip vortex, they got too complicated and hogs cpu and memories lot. I had to cancel my project of converting 2D wingtip vortex from 2D to 3D, to avoid heavy cpu and memories hogging for anyone's computer. I intend to make this mod very friendly for any computer. That is exactly why I created two version of wingtip vortex (straight and shakey).

      This is a package of 18 ground objects for the Japan Ground Self Defense Force, representing many of the significant combat vehicles from the 1970s to present. Four additional non-Japanese variants are included as a bonus, for a total of 22 distinct ground objects. All-new guns and missiles are included.
       
      Note that these are all new models and not stand-ins or re-skins of existing ones. While they are relatively low-poly and low-res, if there is sufficient demand, I will update these models with more detail and improved textures at some point in the future.
