    1. This package represents the CF-100 MK-4B version as used by the RCAF in Europe. It's meant for a "typical" SF-2 installation that includes the GermanyCE terrain.
The date range is historic, from November 1956, to December 1962. Skins for the four RCAF squadrons that deployed to Europe are included, with a skin change to the later RCAF/Red Ensign style occuring during 1958.
For campaign modders, the CF-100 date range just fits in for the 1956 Red Tide and 1962 Red Thunder campaigns.
The skin jpeg's are quite large but I haven't had any frame rate issues on a mediocre Dell I-3 rig. The model does use distance lods. [yay!]
      ROCKET ISSUES:
After much messing around the air to air rockets are best described as "adequate for now." The rocket pods are "No Jettison" because, with jettison-able pods the AI would just drop them prior to engaging any air targets. To get the pods to automatically jettison like the real CF-100, a "RemoveNodeAfterUse" statement is used but the pods disappear when the first rocket is fired.
Much work has gone into setting up the rockets with different CEP [spread] settings as well as different engagement ranges being tested. Also much work trying to get the AI to fire a full salvo but so far unsuccessfully. They sometimes fire quite large salvos but we still haven't figured out the "Logic" that's being used by the AI when using air to air rockets. Some rocket settings are quite counter-intuitive. During early testing the AI was consistently firing the rockets below the target. Raising the RocketBoresightAngle didn't help the situation, they still fired too low. Strangely, lowering the RocketBoresightAngle made the AI raise the nose more when firing the rockets resulting in a big improvement in hit percentages.
The AI does quite well when attacking IL-28's, less well against fighter sized attack aircraft, and very poorly against TU-16's, which are almost untouchable by the AI. The only AI kills I've seen against the TU-16 is when I maneuvered the formation into a head on attack before giving the engage air command. The results were a couple of collisions and one very lucky kill when an AI aircraft managed to fire one [that's "1"] golden rocket. When player flown it's possible to do a successful one pass attack on the TU-16. Against maneuvering fighters the AI will get only very occasional rocket hits so for CAP missions the rockets aren't included in the load out. Any improvements for the rocket behavior will be passed along through a CF-100 support thread.
More information is included in the README.

    2. F-21A Lion US Marines loaned version of Kfir Canard used as adversary aircraft by VMFT-401.
This files are designed for standard Kfir C1_77. So no need for DLC F-21A.
Basic modding skills are required to run this mod.  (copy/paste, mod folder structure etc.)
It is designed for and works only in SF2 series.
To run this mod you need also access to TW lod files from SF2:I (basic model lods for aircraft and cockpit also fuel tanks)
I've edited ini files mostly in weapon stations to separate bomb stations from IRM, FT etc. Also removed some lines of unrealistic loadouts (like inboard IRM,lgb on belly station etc.)
Loadout file is generally empty. Only fuel tanks are assigned. Have it your way in your adversary install.
All skins are done by me in 2048x2048 format based on templates by ludo.m54 => http://combatace.com...ge-5-templates/
      New Bump maps.
All decals are made by me. You will find 13 sets of decals (for 13 aircraft) so if you will choose to play with 14 or more aircraft that above 13...will be just blank...
I am aware that this is not 100% accurate. But this is my way to represent those 13 colourfull aircrafts.

Pilot is from F-111 pack. I belive its from Florian.
      Copy files to proper folders.

      report bugs.
      Hope you will like it.
      Enjoy

Personally, I am using another nation in my install USMC-agr - hope none of inis in this download contains such ini lines...if so...please change it to standard nations =USMC.

Canberra PR.67: 2 refurbished PR.7s sold to India in 1971.
No. 106 Squadron ("Lynxes") is a squadron of the Indian Air Force.
It was raised on 1 May 1957 with eight newly inducted PR.57 English Electric Canberras
in the strategic photo-reconnaissance role.[3] Initially positioned at Bareilly,
later the squadron moved to Agra.
When the Canberras were retired in 2007, the squadron was equipped with
      Hawker Siddeley HS 748.
One of the early commanding officers of No. 106 Squadron, Wing Commander Jaggi Nath,
who was awarded a Maha Vir Chakra in both the 1965 and 1971 wars, said : “106 Squadron
(with the Canberra PR.57/PR.67) was not just an Air Force asset, it was a national asset”.

    5. Tropicalized B(I)8 for India. In January 1957 India placed a large order for the Canberra:
a total of 54 B(I)58 bombers that later became 79. It was used by No. 5, 6, 16, 35 Squadrons and JBCU OCU.
First used in combat by the IAF in 1962, the Canberra was employed during the UN campaign against the breakaway Republic of Katanga in Africa.
During the Indo-Pakistani Wars of the 1960s and 1970s.
The entire Indian Air Force Canberra fleet was grounded and then retired following the crash of an IAF Canberra in December 2005.

    6. The Convair B-58 Hustler was the first operational jet bomber capable of Mach 2 flight.[2] The aircraft was designed by Convair and developed for the United States Air Force (USAF) for service in the Strategic Air Command (SAC) during the 1960s.[3] It used a delta wing, which was also employed by Convair fighters such as the F-102, with four General Electric J79 engines in underwing pods. It carried five nuclear weapons; four on pylons under the wings, and one nuclear weapon and fuel in a combination bomb/fuel pod under the fuselage, rather than in an internal bomb bay.

    7. Photo reconnaissance version of the F.8, first flown 29 March 1950,
59 built for the Royal Air Force.
The PR Mk 10 was designed, in parallel with the FR Mk 9, to
replace the Spitfire PR Mk XI and PR Mk XIX as a highaltitude
      photographic reconnaissance aircraft. To help
achieve good performance at high-altitude the longer span
wings (43ft 6in) and the tail assembly, fitted to the early F
Mk 4s, were both employed but armament was removed.

    8. RAAF CAC Sabre Mk.32 -Version 2.0-

      For SF2 (any and all)

Note: this version REPLACES any earlier ones in it's entirety!! You should delete your original, if you have it already. As the skins have been changed to jpg, the original bmp format will cause a conflict.

Some ini modifications and 2 new skins for Zur's Avon-powered Sabre, as used by the RAAF in the 50s-60s.
      The skins are:

      3 Squadron
      77 Squadron

Serial numbers are historically accurate; with the sources I used I've tried to match aircraft with the squadron served with ... I've come within about 98%; pretty much as far as possible.
Decal Randomization is set to TRUE for both skins
For End Users ™ with the Oz Mirage DLC, I've activated the squadron display on the Loadout Screen via my 'fake' sqtail decal.

Other ini mods added the radar-ranging gunsight, landing lights, etc. Loadouts, however are =NOT= historically correct, due to some LOD issues. (More on that in the "Notes" section). A rather 'generic' SF2 style Sabre hangar screen is included.
Weapons are =NOT= included - all excepting the drop tank reference stock, in-game items. You can obtain the drop tank in any of the other Sabre Paks or from the Gunny's Weapons Pak.

As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs/requires/should have, to make it a LOT easier to install. Also, as usual, the expected 'Notes and Other Nonesense' comments by me.

      =================
      Changes for Ver 2.0:
      new large format jpg skins
      new SF2 compliant FM
      new sounds
      dds damage textures
      fixed shadow issue

      Happy Landings!!
