This model is a is yet another rebuild of the old TMF max files which I was working on from the very outset. 
.
It is is no way designed to compete or to relpace the versions released by daddyairplanes, so dont try to use those skins on this model....the maps are different.
The RF4-C nose has had a complete rebuild since the DA version as the nose profile is completly wrong along with more accurate air conditioner intakes and camera windows etc, etc
The fuselage also got rebuilt to cure many shape issues and to give a more accurate undersides.

This mod brings the Spanish RF-4C, known as the CR.12 Phantom II in Ejercito del Aire service into the game, with an early version and a late version with bolt on refueling probe as well as Sidewinder capability

a functional copy of any Strike Fighters 2 game except for SF2 North Atlantic (the only one without a native F-4 destroyed model)

            About The Mirage Factory Rebuilt
Back in the early days of Wings Over series modding The Mirage Factory, lead by bpao was the peak of modding excellence. Many of their models are still heavily in
use today, 15 years later and still amongst the very best. This despite the team not creating any new mods since the passing of Oliver Anguille in 2009.
But time does move on, and the next generation of modders have ideas, techniques and tools not available back then. With the help of some of the original
modellers (who have copies of the original max files) we can update these fine aircraft for the 2020s. Rebuilt for new terrains and campaigns that were
just hopeful wishes over a decade ago.
    The Mirage in the logo is camoflaged, much like the real aircraft in later service. The "HD" has been replaced
with "Rebuilt" as what was HD in the 2010s is jsut standard today. Finally, the new logo thanks Oli, both for the aircraft that are still relevant today
and for the inspiration he's given to the modders that followed him.

Mirage F1EQ5_Iriaf
This mod is dedicated to BPAO, nothing would have been possible without him.
Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force seized 24 F1BQs and F1EQs flown over from Iraq, during the 1991 Persian Gulf War. As of December 2021, 12 Mirage F1EQs and 5 Mirage F1BQs were in service.
This mod is not 100% accurate, Iran used all the EQ versions but for more simplicity we decided to use only one version, the EQ-5, to cover all the IRIAF aircrafts.
There is not a lot of informations about the Iranian Mirage, so we did our best to make a realistic aircraft.
Based on Iraqi F1EQ-5 v4.0.1 mod with the following changes:
all the original Iraqi weapons and pods have been disabled as Iran did not get any of those P7 and sidewinder compatibility added (instead of R550) F5 tanks (underwings stations only) instead of original F1 RP35 US bombs and rockets. Another data.ini version is provided for russians bombs and rockets use instead of US. Covered unit :

What we have here is an almost completely new RF-4B model, there are 3 separate versions to choose  from all with small differences and skins.
They are all from VMCJ-1 which was the only RF-4B unit that was stationed in Vietnam for almost the full duration of the war.
Please read the readme as I'm struggling with using a keyboard at the moment.....

F-86D 月光 -  Gekko of Japan Air Self-Defense Force
Basic modding skills are required to run this mod.  (copy/paste, mod folder structure, etc.) 
Install:
Copy and paste specific folders into the correct destination.
A fake pilot is required to run this mod.
This is a new model of F-86D. 
In the game, you will find it under a prefix .JASDF. *

I fixed data files a little - collision points and hitboxes..as the previous ones were quite weird. However, I believe that the flight model could be improved for this aircraft. But this is not my cup of tea or coffee. 
All skins are in 4096x4096 format. You can easily resize as needed.
Decals represent historically correct serial numbers assigned to aircraft during their service in the JASDF in a particular year. More or less

The model is new but some parts are based on Zur's F-86H which I was able to work on previously with Wrench.

These aircraft are aimed at the folks that actually like to fly missions, So going by that line of action all markings and serial numbers are painted on, this has the added bonus of gaining me a couple of extra fps and also means that I can export the lod WITHOUT the decals option, this definitely gains some more precious fps.
This model is a combination of the old (Crab_02 RF-8G) and TMF RF-8A max files which I was working on from the very outset. 
The RF-8A never got released because of Oli's sudden death.
I've combined what I think are the best parts of both to come up with the models here, they may not be perfect or "historically correct" in every way as they are a constant wip.
