+Dave Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Coming from an AWAC's unit I just had to try its little brother.
+Stary Posted March 10, 2012 Author Posted March 10, 2012 Left from campaign to fly single mission... PURE AWESOMNESS! TBH I wasn't expecting that much of work into ships damage modeling
+Stary Posted March 10, 2012 Author Posted March 10, 2012 That's how Kiev dies using Unified Effects pack... (it's because of the pair of Walleyes exploding too)

pyro Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Awesome sauce! Thanks! So far, from what everyone is saying, the obvious bugs are the 'Fringe' ships and the Map view. Everything else seems relatively minor in a standalone install. I'd agree with what Dave said in the other thread...this is more than I was expecting. Targetable cruise missiles, implementation of the F-14's more complex radar/missile engagement mode, better terrain, WAY better water. more populated carriers, ships with multi weapons... FC I absolutely love Fringe. That is all.
+Dave Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Alone and unafraid.....look at the F-4S' on the deck.
+Julhelm Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Wroom! BTW I did a merged install, but have separate mods folder. Works fine so far.
KeyboardChap Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 How to kill a Kiev If at first you don't succed: Use a Nuke: Alright so the Nuke killed me as well...
+JonathanRL Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Escorted a bunch of Intruders into firing position:
+russouk2004 Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Using starys early cockpit fort russians I tried flight in the forger, needs attention to get to take off from the ship,as it wont ...lol,even using vtol...and ai run through each other and drop into sea.
Vampyre Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 (edited) Been enjoying the Carrierborn single missions... Its a bit fun attacking a hornets nets. RN Bucc Attack America's secret squadron I finally decided overwhelming force was the way to go Edited March 11, 2012 by Vampyre

+Dave Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Damn Sid.... Designate Raid 1.... TMF F-14 works perfect in SF2:NA
Icarus999 Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 TMF F-14 works perfect in SF2:NA And in my opinion is a better looking model... cant wait until it gets upgraded to the current standard.
FastCargo Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 And in my opinion is a better looking model... cant wait until it gets upgraded to the current standard. Don't know if that's going to happen...I don't think we were ever able to recover the latest F-14 model before most of Oli's work was lost. FC

turkeydriver Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 The MF tomcat is pretty but the airbrake design is based off a very early F-14A and there were other problems with the model. For the most part the FM is a bit better, but your F-14 should handle like and underpowered F-15 at the worst. The MF jet and TKs initial release both need work-It would be nice if the slow speed maneuvering aspect of the F-14 and F-15 with slats/flaps could be explored and modelled. Both those jets have the lift and AoA to make that part of the fight a joy as long as your not bagged out on gas and weapons.

I'm sure we could of fixed it if Oli hadn't of passed away. So what you see is what you get.
Gr.Viper Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Try it, guys, it's frigging amazing Forgot the salvo switch And the second pass is not really a viable option
Wrench Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 had to import and test the Viking .... we need nuke Harpoons, with MUCH longer range!!! The lack of actual shipping routes is a major bummer....can't wait for that new frakking extractor...
